He’s used to working the land. She grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. Are these opposites the perfect ingredients for a happily ever after?
Travis Cabrera doesn’t have time for distractions. And the middle of harvest season is the worst possible moment for the busy vineyard co-owner to have a magical meeting with his gorgeous new neighbor. But there’s something about her helter-skelter approach to life that he can’t resist, so the caring vintner vows to get to know her better…
Claire Hansen’s survival skills are half-baked at best. So when the spoiled twenty-three-year-old orphan gets kicked out of the family mansion with instructions to prove she’s a responsible adult, she’s desperate for a get-rich-quick gimmick. And after she samples her sexy neighbor’s welcome pie, the ditzy heiress’s delighted tastebuds launch a reckless recipe-stealing plot.
Accidentally promising his parents that he’ll hunt down an impossibly large loan, Travis can’t decide if playing temporary lovebirds with the girl next door is a diversion or a delight. And though she’s wracked with guilt after learning she’s run off with a long-guarded secret, Claire risks their rapidly growing attraction with yet another luscious lie.
Can this star-crossed couple whip up a love filled with sugary passion?
Travis is the laugh-out-loud funny first book in The Booze Brothers romantic comedy series. If you like characters you can root for, cute encounters, and page-turning chemistry, then you’ll adore Kaleigh Clark’s slice of the good life.
Kaleigh Clark has dreamed of seeing her name on the front of a published romance novel since she was a little girl scribbling loves stories in notebooks instead of doing her homework. In 2014, she made half of her dream come true—she published her first book under a pseudonym. Over the next seven years, Kaleigh had become a bestselling author of over twenty novels.
Even though Kaleigh had achieved amazing success, she still dreamed of seeing her name on the front of the books she wrote.
After going through a rough period in her personal life, Kaleigh had found the kind of love she’d spent years writing about. So in late 2021, she made the decision to start over and publish romance novels written about the love she has instead of the kind of relationship she only dreamed about. But this time…she’d do so under her name, Kaleigh Clark.
I believe this to be a first time author (for sure she is new to me) and let me tell you, I think she nailed it. It’s well written and the characters are just so special in their own way. Claire may take a minute to understand but when you do you’ll find she really is a great character with a good heart. She has grown up in the lap of luxury, living in her grandfather’s mansion and a bit spoiled (ok maybe a lot spoiled). But Gramps has had enough and he throws her out into the world for the very first time - yep it’s either sink or swim for Claire. She moves next door to Travis, who co-runs the family's vineyard business. The two couldn’t be any more opposite. He’s a hard working family man and she’s a scheming, vivacious woman with a flighty outlook on life. She is looking for a get rich solution to show her grandpa she can survive on her own, he is in need of money to keep the vineyard going. Does this make the couple a match made in heaven or a hellish disaster in the making?
The characters' banter is great, the storyline fun, sexy and heartwarming. Oh I can’t forget the secondary characters either. If they are a hint of what to come in the Booze Brother’s series, we readers are in for a treat.
This is a well written rom com with strong characters and a hot chemistry. The author pulled me in right from the start and kept me reading right to the end. She brings out the emotions, good and bad and fills it with drama, humor and steam. She moves it fluidly with perfectly painted scenes and delivers a great read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I enjoyed this book. I instantly liked Travis, it took me a while to take to Claire since she was spoiled and a little brat, but eventually I ended up liking her and they were very different, but they had some good chemistry.
We need some more from more from The Booze Brothers world!

Travis is amazing. I loved this one so much. Travis never expected Claire when she showed up as his new neighbor. He works hard running his family's vineyard and wants to take it to the next level. Claire is trying to figure out life when she is forced out of her home by her grandfather and on her own for the first time. You are going to love Claire and how she finds her way with every mishap that follows. There is wonderful chemistry right from the start between Claire and Travis. I love the humor thrown in with the heartwarming moments. You see a lot of growth from Claire and all the changes are beautiful as she finds her way. Travis is a sweetheart, and you feel for him as everything comes out in the open when it comes to Claire. I loved this one so much. I cannot wait for more of the Booze Brothers. This is such a laugh out loud loveable read that will have you falling for Claire and Travis. Go one click this one now.
Travis by Kaleigh Clark is one of the sweetest books I've read this year. This book has just about everything I love about romance novels. Ms Clark does an amazing job creating characters that you can't help but fall in love with. The main character, Claire goes through a total transformation. You just can't help but be proud, almost like you had something to do with it, like you were in her corner silently cheering her on. Travis is well, Human. He's not broken. He's not that boy we can't help but love because something is wrong. He's a hard working, mama's boy. He's goal oriented and just an amazing character. The supporting characters are amazing. They make the story feel that much more believable.
This book is so refreshing. This was the first book I've read by this author and it won't be my last. I highly recommend this author and this story.
As soon as i found out about this book i added it to my TBR list. I started looking forward to it right away. I picked it up and got into The Booze Brothers world right away. I enjoyed this story!
Travis and Claire's journey got my attention! I really liked how these two were brought into each other's lives as neighbors. I couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for them.
I enjoyed the way these two were different and getting to see them tackle things. They had really good chemistry. I felt so many things throughout reading with both Claire and Travis.
With Travis, Ms.Clark has created such a good and entertaining read! I can't wait for more from this author! I am so looking forward to diving back into The Booze Brothers world!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Give Me Books Promotions / the author*
I loved this book so much! Claire started out as a spoiled heiress but transformed into an independent woman. She converted her dream into a reality all on her own. She may have done some shady things in the beginning but the growth of her character was incredibly written by this author. And besides her initial quirkiness led to several laugh out loud moments. Travis is her neighbor that originally can’t stand her but is unable to deny their chemistry. Soon he even finds himself a willing participant in a crazy scheme that Claire cooks up. There were hilarious times and steamy scenes between these two. And the side characters introduced in this book have sparked my curiosity for future books in this series.
This is the story of Travis and Claire. This is the first book I read from Kaleigh Clark and I have to say that is a really good one. The story line is really good developed. You will see a Claire that begin as an spoiled brat and developing in a character that you will love. You will fall in love for Travis since the beginning. One of the things that I love about this book is the balance between drama, comedy and romance. Keep you reading until you finish it and keeping you wanting more about not only the main characters, also the secondary characters. I highly recommend this book and the author. Can't wait for the next book.
Travis works his families vineyard and it is harvest season. He is very busy with the harvest. Then he meets his next door neighbor Claire. She is wealthy but has been kicked out of the house. So she steals a recipe from Travis. This is a funny and really entertaining story. The story flowed so well and it was so believable I got caught up in the story. This is a fantastic story.

Overall I enjoyed Travis and Claire's story. It took quite a few chapters for me to really get into it, but I was not the biggest fan of Claire at first. She was very whiny and spoiled and I could not connect with her. I liked the chemistry between Travis and Claire and how the story progressed. I really liked the secondary characters. I hope each brother gets a story and Claire's best friend!
I have fallen for Travis - the fist in what I hope to be many reads by Clark - this romance between Travis and Kaleigh was well written with amazing characters and chemistry, a smooth flowing storyline that was captivating and of course the humor and lol moments were perfect! A great read and certainly one that has made this reader a fan...looking forward to seeing what's next out from Clark!

Cute! Travis and Claire start off as neighbors and first impressions aren’t always the best. Once these two finally get to know one another….something starts to bloom. But there are truths that haven’t been said.
We follow along as two people start a relationship while each learn to grow more with themselves and with the help of family. But most importantly, they grow together.
This was a great amazing story. It’s Travis and Claire story. I loved this book from page one, it had me laughing with the well written storyline and the characters had such amazing chemistry. It was a captivating, touching, enjoyable and heartwarming story I couldn’t get enough of and I highly recommend.

I couldn’t put this book down! From start to finish, it was a page turner and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened and what pickle Claire got herself into next. I loved both characters, Claire and Travis, as well as the secondary characters and cannot wait to read about Travis’ brothers in their books!
I definitely fell in love with Travis right away. It took me a little bit to warm up to Claire. I think Travis played a big part in Claire's turnaround. She went from being spoiled and selfish to caring and ambitious. I thought the chemistry between Travis and Claire was so steamy. I loved Carla, Gramps, and Maureen as well. I can't wait to read more about this family.

I loved this book!! It’s funny, sexy, and a great cast of characters. Travis and Claire started out as friends/neighbors but that didn’t stop love from barreling into it. I love all the secondary characters too and can’t wait to read more in The Booze Brothers series.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was easy to fall into and not want to put down. Travis and Claire make a cute couple. I wish there was a bit more to the epilogue ending. I hope we see more about them in future books from Kaleigh Clark.
I loved loved loved this book so much! Claire and Travis were absolutely amazing together. How they met, allll of the shenanigans and their love and friendship made this book so good. I loved the premise of this and adored Claire from page one. She was a bit misunderstood but overall had such a good heart. This book had me laughing from page one. I can't wait for more from this incredible author!!!
This was a cute fun read. Claire was a hot mess. It was entertaining watching her try to figure out life. When she and Travis got together, sparks flew every which way.

Wonderfully enjoyable, tantalizing and passionate! Travis and Claire are compelling and captivating characters. Their story is engaging, heartwarming and touching. I was hooked from the first chapter! Beautifully written by the talented Kaleigh Clark. Congratulations Travis is truly awesome 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
After the dark book that I finished, I really needed a change of scenery so when this book appeared on my kindle I thought... Hell yeah. I'm no stranger to this author's writing, in fact, some of my all-time favorites are from her, but now, she's writing under a different name. Her books were raw, wild, and dark, with so many feelings in the mix. And now, I don't know what's in store for us. Since she's no stranger to me, I know that I will love her books, even without reading them. Lol Kaleigh Clark is the author I'm talking about and guys, give her a chance. You'll love it. Travis is her latest release and it's the first book from The Booze Brothers series. This book explores the lives of Travis and Claire. Travis's life revolves around his vineyard and he doesn't have time for distractions. His focus is on the harvest but when a new neighbor comes... Claire had it all until she didn't. Being born into money, you don't lose time thinking about what your next step should be until... When she sees herself trying to prove that she's a responsible adult... I knew that this book was going to different from what this lady had given me previously, with another name, and I was right. But don't get this the wrong way. No way Jose... This book was perfect. Amazing plot, well written, super sweet, and engaging. Each chapter was even more addictive than the previous and I couldn't stop reading. I've laughed so hard that I almost wet my panties, but I've also been sad. When we suffer a big loss, we tend to close ourselves because the pain is unbearable. But sometimes we need to take a chance in finding our happily ever after. In life, nothing is for granted so we must take chances and fight for what we want. The characters worked perfectly with each and it's impossible not to fall in love with them. It was a sweet and funny story and I can't wait to read more. Great book Kaleigh. You nailed it and I can't wait for the next books from this series. Please tell me that we'll have more about Claire and Travis? I really want more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
TRAVIS is A Riches to Rags Romantic Comedy. It has lots of witty humor, but there is some trust & heartbreak issues, too. This is the first book written by the author under Kaleigh Clark. But she is a very experienced author. I have always enjoyed reading her books for years under a different pen name.
Clare Hanson is a very sad twenty-three year old. Since her parents had passed away when she was only 15 years old, her beloved Grandpa had been her guardian. He had suddenly decided to ask her to move out of her childhood home. Her best-friend, Piper Dodson, told her he didn't do it to be mean, but he wanted her to learn how to take care of herself. She had never even had a job. Her Grandpa was getting older and knew his time on this Earth was limited.
When she was sleeping in her tiny new apartment, there came a pounding on her door the next morning from her moving-in. She was shocked by seeing the most handsome man she ever laid eyes on. She stood their speechless. His name was Travis Cabrera and he was her next door neighbor. Her moving truck was blocking his truck & thanks to her he would now be late for work.
That was not the only morning that Travis would wake the Sleeping Beauty Clare. But when Travis shows up at her door to apologize with a bottle of wine from his family's winery, plus a delicious apple pie made from his mother's secret recipe. Their attraction for each other is off the charts, but takes a while to turn into an affair. But what starts out as a slow-burn, quickly turns into a hot fire! Clare is still in a pickle & tells a few lies to try getting out of her dilemma. As I was always taught, if you tell one lie it will have to be followed by another lie. So better not tell a lie to begin with. Claire will learn she wishes she never had told one lie!
At first I thought this book was going to be slow, how wrong I was, it was full of passion, humour, and a really great read. It shows if you love someone enough you can get over the lies they tell you, you can forgive them.
Travis owns a vineyard with his parents, he rents a duplex, and when he cant get to go to work as a U-Haul is blocking his way he hammers on his neighbours door to get her to move it, not expecting to see her is short pyjamas, to him she was gorgeous but crazy.
Claire had been brought up with money, never worked a day in her life, till her grandfather kicked her our of the family home to make it on her own with a small allowance, how was she going to live on that small amount? after tasting Travis's mothers pie she decided she would recreate it and become a baker, but hadn't the first idea how to bake but this didn't stop her trying, she needed a way to get her hands on some of her inheritance and quickly, meanwhile Travis is having a problem of his own trying to raise a loan to expand the vineyard, that he hadn't been listening to when his father mentioned it, then Claire had a brainwave that she would tell her grandfather that she was getting married to her neighbour after finding a Claus in the will of her parents, but she forgot to tell the groom, follow the antics of this couple as they try to figure everything out.
I loved this story, the more I read the more I loved Travis and Claire, well done on a brilliant book!
This is a debut from this author, and my word, she has nailed this story! Claire is spoiled by her wealthy upbringing, and when her grandpa has had enough, he kicks her out to either sink or swim, and she must prove herself. Travis is the co-owner of the family vineyard, and is busy with harvest season, so he does not t really have the time for his new neighbor, which is Claire. Claire is on a mission to discover a get rich quick scheme, but will, she succeed? This is a well written story which is fun, humorous, and with witty banter, family, chemistry, and is an entertaining and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future and I recommend this story.
Clair may have been raised like a spoiled rich girl she doesn’t have that personality. She cut off and has to find a way to make money. When she meets her hottie neighbor Travis they develop a good friendship with a little attraction. There’s lots of funny quips throughout the book and what develops is a nice romance. But one feels betrayed by the other will their new love affair be solid enough to make it work?! I loved this book! Claire is a little quirky but she’s tenacious. Travis is a good guy and becomes a better man with Claire.

Travis: A Riches to Rags Romantic Comedy Kaleigh Clark
Opposites attached. Claire is wealth and grew up with everything she ever wanted and Travis grew up working for everything he has ever had. He her grandpa has had enough and knows she needs to learn to care for herself because he will not always be there, he tosses her out to work for herself. This was a good book. I enjoyed reading it.

I really enjoyed this romance. This is the first romance book that involves owning a winery that I've read and I loved that setting. I also loved how much baking there was in this and how the baking and winery became interconnected. I loved Travis and Claire. I thought that they made a great couple and had such great chemistry. I also liked how we got to see Claire grow so much throughout the book and we get to see her become independent and learn from each mistake.
