Tell me a secret… The man of my dreams is falling for me and it’s everything I’ve wished for since the first time I saw him.
He’s charming and popular; impossibly gorgeous. Women want him. Men want to be him. His fans worship him. And me… I love him.
But I never really thought it was possible that he could feel the same. He’s a famous celebrity and I’m—I’m no one. Just shy Ivy Love, hiding in the background behind my makeup and costumes. Waiting for the ground to open and swallow me whole, before anyone notices me.
But he saw me. He sees me. Somehow… behind my mask.
Ivy and Rouge are falling in love. Ivy is hiding a deep dark secret from Rouge and it's because she is trying to protect everyone and herself. But in the end she will crash and burn because trust is Alexandra issue.
I love a lot about this book. Ivy is so sweet and loving and tries in her own way to protect everyone she has grown to love.
The only thing I dislike about this book is the huge cliffhanger at the end and now I have to wait an entire year before I get the rest of the story.
Straight off the bat, the emotions were on the surface, my heart in my mouth, when I tell you that I felt sick, that was an understatement, but i trusted the process. And my god what a unbelievable process it was, be ready for the ride of your life because this book is amazing!!! Angst, upset, heartbreak, love and unbelievable chemistry, this book has it all. Twists you never see coming... And that ending.....WHAT!!! I need more. I though I loved rebel... then along comes rogue.
This book has me in all of my emotions! In the beginning, I had to keep putting it down and walking away. I had to keep reminding myself that a HEA would eventually come. The secrets have me so much anxiety! I wanted to shake Ivy, and ask her what she was thinking. I wanted to shake Rogue and ask him to just push her a little more. Then somewhere around halfway into the book, I found myself saying “just one more chapter then I’ll go to bed.” It was never one more chapter. I certainly didn’t see that T Swift twist coming!!!! I Love the way Rogue pulls Ivy out into the world, and I love the way Ivy makes Rogue into a swoon worthy boyfriend! Can’t wait for the conclusion. I need it now!!
Was given a ARC to read and all I can think of to say is OMG!! I know the characters are the ones telling the stories here but dang Ivy and Rogue just sent me on a emotional Roller coaster. Didn’t even put the story down to eat lunch today I wanted to keep going. They have a love story that builds up in the best way can’t wait for the next book in their story. Love the peaks we get at the rest of the family too.
What a tangled twisted web they weave. Ivy and rogue are going strong but she’s still hiding the fact that she’s Alec’s sister. Alec is escalating though. He left a dead mouse on ro’s bed. He calls and threatens her. She’s got code name t swift in her phone who she’s working with. They’re trying to get him to confess and out himself. But it doesn’t work. Rogue goes to visit his mother and she freaks out so he decides to get piss drunk. The brothers bring him to a club while he’s shitfaced in the vip section. Then some girl corners him and makes out with him and someone gets a video. Ivy is devastated but she knows her brother set it up because that girl had no business in the vip section. Rogue feels bad but has no recollection of it. Then Ivy finally confesses that Alec is her brother and rogue loses his ever loving mind and tells her to beat feet. When she gets home she also tells Adira that she knows Alec set him up back in high school when he accidentally pushed his friend off a roof. It adira also gets mad because Alec threatened to tell the police that adira pushed him and ivy didn’t tell adira and give him the choice. So now she’s all alone. It turns out t swift is rebel and someone left a bunch of pictures in rebels car that prove Alec had drugged Ro the night he raped her. Rogue figures out that rebel was helping Ivy. He calls Ivy from a private number but she doesn’t answer. She listens to the voicemail and he says he’s on his way. Then she walks into the close room and Alec is in there hiding out. They get into an argument and she knows there’s a camera in the closet room so she’s trying to get him near it. He breaks her wrist then shoots her up with drugs so she can’t fight. Then he slices her wrists to make it look like suicide. He waits till she passes out to call an ambulance so he looks like the hero. Cliffhanger!!

Hollywood Love A-List Rebels #3 Misti Murphy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh boy. What the hell!!! I think that ending was way more than that! Straight up, freaking cliffhanger… again! But this series is one you’ll want to read. If you haven’t read Hollywood Rogue, might I suggest you start there, or even better one book one. You won’t be disappointed…
Rogue Maddox and Ivy Love have a complicated relationship, he fell for the sweet girl who saved him after she hit his car, she fell for the bad boy but her shyness and uncoordinated look on life makes them very much the odd couple. But as Rogue found his Uma/ Ivy the pair fall into a comfortable and sexy relationship. As bad boy Rogue falls for good girl Ivy, it appears all is perfect, but under that sweet , quiet girl is a huge secret. One that could destroy not only their new relationship, but destroy the whole Maddox family.
Ivy tries to do the right thing and use that evil to prove who the bad guy is, and evidence that will set everyone under is spell free… that is until her secret is no more, and she stands to lose way more than just Rogue…. She could lose everything!
While this was/ is a romance story, this one is way more gritty, think sexy whodunnit! Now I can’t wait for book 3 🤯
Hollywood Love Rogue Maddox is handsome and charming. He is a famous Hollywood bad-boy actor. He has fallen hard for Ivy Love. Ivy Love is a mystery and she has many secrets. Rogue is patient he will wait until Ivy is ready to tell him her secrets. Ivy’s secrets just might destroy the love they have for each other. Ivy has had a crush on Rogue for a long time ever since she saw him care for his mom in the Mental Health facility. In previous books (Hollywood Rebel and Hollywood Rogue) we learn about Rebel and Rogue Maddox. They are twins and have an interesting background. Their mom has mental health issues which required the boys to grow up fast and to support each other, their mom and younger brother, Riot. Rebel went to jail after assaulting another actor (Alex Hawthorne) that harmed his friend Rochelle Kitt. They hate the man that sent Rebel to jail and harmed their friend. Ivy’s huge secret is that Alex Hawthorne is her brother. Rogue wants to protect everyone he cares about especially Ivy. This book is an emotional rollercoaster. I loved it. There are so many twists and turns. Will Ivy let Rogue in on her secret? What will happen to Adira/Liam? This book cannot be set down!! It end is literally a killer! You simply need to start this series. What will happen to Ivy?
I liked the first book this series a lot, second one was good too, and I liked the whole Line Up series that I read before this. I do want to emphasise that that this is a good author and series! - but this book was a struggle for me to read.
I have a hard time with stories that have a lot of deception between the main characters and there’s a whole big thing with this one. It was hard to enjoy any romantic parts since there was a lot of “this is gonna be bad” lurking in the background and I just couldn’t get into their love with all that going. One of the twists near the end helped a lot but it took until then to feel better about it all.
It is written very well and I’ll read the next books because I do want to know what happens but I’m not sure this is really what I wanted out of a romance personally and has a different tone to the other books I’ve read by this author so I wasn’t really prepared. Perhaps I should have read the blurbs in more detail.
That said, if you don’t mind intrigue and good-reasons deception, this is still a great read from a good author.
Rogue and Ivy’s story continues in Hollywood Love. Some of the same issues in their relationship weave their way through Hollywood Love, but new issues pop up for them to navigate as well. We learn more about Rogue and Ivy as people and their histories throughout the book.
The TWISTS and TURNS. Many authors throw twists and turns in and they don’t follow with the plot - just thrown in to spice things up. Murphy has the innate ability to have those twists in there but they are things which the characters would do.
The smut is spicy and sprinkled through the book. There is still plenty of plot that keeps me turning page after page. Many books have too much smut and not enough plot or vice versa. Murphy’s books all have the perfect balance of both - although I could do without her leaving me on cliffhangers at the end of every book!
I’ll admit. I was beginning to second guess my decision to read this book. LOTS of repetition which lead to me skimming parts of the story bc of it. But, since I had really enjoyed the previous books in the series- I pushed on and I’m glad I did. Don’t get me wrong, the storyline is good and the characters are lovable. But that was sometimes over shadowed and lost in the repetitive “I wish I could but can’t”… “I know she’s hiding but I’ll wait”… it was a little frustrating. But, about the 60% mark, it’s like the author found her path for the story and when she did- it was GREAT! I hate cliff hangers- but I’m invested in seeing how this works out for Ivy and Rouge and the rest of their family! Not sure how to occupy my time until April, but I’m looking forward to the next book being released!
Omg this story still isn’t done. 🤬 maybe it’s on me for not checking but I didn’t expect a 2 parter let alone 3. (Going on 4 for the plot line that just won’t quit)
It stinks cause I love the characters and dialogue and especially Ivy and her growth. But I’ll likely miss the next book cause I’ll be wrapped up in other stories by the time it rolls around.
So look 2 stars is not just bc I’m bitter about waiting for the next installment. It’s in part because I feel lied to - Rebel has a 1-book story and that set my expectations. Book 3 should have been Riot. So much of Hollywood Love was a lot of angst dragged way the hell out to get up to the confession where the readers should have earned… I dunno the HEA?!?! But no. What we get, instead, is Adira acting out of character in order to set the scene for another cliffhanger and Rogue gets 3 books.
Rogue & Ivy's story continues. Rogue finds himself falling for his mysterious Disney Princess Uma Cookie. Ivy is trying not to fall in love as she knows once Rogue knows her real identity he'll probably hate her. Meanwhile her unhinged brother has cottoned on to her relationship & is threatening to get her best friend & cousin Adiera sent to prison if Ivy doesn't feed him info on what the Maddox family & Ro are planning. Ivy is stuck between a rock & a hard place. She's in love with Rogue & hates her brother but she can't let Adiera go to prison. Ro & youngest Maddox Brother Riot seem to be growing cosy but are denying there's anything going on between them. The book ends on a cliffhanger which I'd worked out was coming. We also learn the identity of the mysterious T Swift which I hadn't considered at all that it could be the person it is....
Holy Moly, what the actual…….? What started off as a slow burn love story has turned into an edge-of-your-seat thriller with more twists and turns than a fairground ride!
I love this story and I love the characters (mostly!) but I don’t think I have ever despised a character more than Ivy’s brother. If he doesn’t get what’s coming to him sooner rather than later, it will be a travesty!
I’m pretty sure there will be a lot of guilty consciences when the story continues - and so there should be - I definitely wanted to bang a few heads together towards the end of this book.
Even after I completed the book , I kept picking my Kindle up to continue reading only to realise I had already finished! I can’t wait for the final instalment!
Oh these cliffhangers! I'm not really sure why this book exists. I really think this could have been summed up in two books instead of three. I think with some more editing a lot of this book could have been struck. There was so much drama with no real action going on in this book.
But ask me if I'll read the next one - Yes, I will. I need the conclusion to Rogue and Ivy's story. I just wish I knew when it was going to be released. If I'd known going into this series that it wasn't finished yet, I would have waited until all books were out. I'm not a patient reader. I need to know what happens now!
This is a long, drawn out book. It features Rouge, the second Maddox twin and Ivy, the surprise sibling to their arch nemesis. There’s a lot of crazy back and forth.
It was difficult to get into the book, Ivy was exhausting with her poor me attitude. I did feel bad for her. Everyone she loves leaves her. It’s hard to get into people who have no loyalty or care for someone they supposedly love. I had to stop at 50% and it took a while to get back to it.
There’s a lot of good drama, and this book ends on a cliffhanger. I don’t know if I’m vested enough to read the ending.
This is the third book in this phenomenal series and the second book about Rogue and Ivy. This story ends in another doozy of a cliffhager, and I cannot wait to read more about this couple. This is a well written roller coaster, with family dynamics, friendships, intrigue, secrets, loyalty, challenges, heartbreak, danger, suspense, manipulation, mystery, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This is just more lying and lying by the h. It's really nonsense. The book could have ended at book 2 with a short epilogue on how they took him down, not a new book with h and others saying his name 213 times. This is a DNF, didn't care, won't care, horrible writing, etc etc and so on. Stop lying, don't stalk people, and seriously, don't lie or tell half truths, don't pretend to be someone else for 99% of a book (book 2 & 3), I THOUGHT THIS WAS SOMETHING INSTILLED BY PARENTS, AKA MORALS? Guess they get thrown out the window to try and write a B flick movie version of a book.
With the ups and down, twist and turns in this part of their story you don't know what is going to happen next. Rogue is the perfect boyfriend even with Ivy keeping some major secrets from everyone. This story ends with a killer cliffhanger but it is not the end of The A List Rebels. I'm now on pins and needles waiting for book 3. I highly recommend this series. Also The Line Up and Bad boys series that will hold you over while you wait for the next book.
Honestly, by this stage of the story my mind is spinning, my heart is bruised, and my emotions are a complete mess! Whew, I'll say this, Ivy and Rogue's romance certainly yanks on your heartstrings and provides a serious workout for your feelings. The ups, the downs, the twists, the secrets, they are all breath stealing and addictive and I need that next book NOW!! This is my forthright, volitional review.
And the plot thickens! Rogue and Ivy, hhhmmm. I don't think I was ready for this. My heart was pounding alot when Alec was around. I still can't believe how two people can be related and one person can be so evil. My heart felt broken for Rogue. I get it though. I can't really put words into how I want to write this without spoiling it. So.... This story was fun, sweet, loving, and heart breaking just to sum it up.
Did not love this book like I did Rebel’s. There was too much going on. Was this book about Rogue and Ivy or propping Adira and drag queens- just not my cup of tea. Please focus on the H/h so that we can get a real love story. Also spoiler alert! I thought the scene with Ivy cousin( Adira/ Liam) was gross and uncalled for. They are cousins and he stands there and listen to Ivy have sex🫢
The first book started great but then it got tedious and its just dragging out. You have the same scene and tortured internal dialogue over and over again. Honestly only read it trying to get A conclusion to the story but SURPRISE yet another cliffhanger and still not enough story to justify 2 books, let alone 3. I'm completely frustrated and I'm not even sure I'm going to read the 3rd one. It's like a never ending repeat of the same scene over and over.
First, I liked this book. Second, it didn't need to be it's own book in the series. While it ends in a cliffhanger, the story was extremely drawn out. About 1/3 of the way through the book, it was obvious what was going to happen but it just wouldn't ever get to the point. I only finished it to make sure I was right! I will read the next in the series because the characters are good and it's interesting but yeah, this doesn't need to be it's own book.
This is a continuing saga of Rogue and Ivy. Ivy has big secrets that she's slowly releasing. Hurtful secrets. She tries to tell Rogue several times but she keeps being interrupted (which is honestly one of my least favorite aspects in this storyline). She is now in an alliance, trying to take down her brother.
Riot and Ro are getting cozy. Rebel and Rogue are convinced they are together. But Riot keeps denying anything is going on. Hopefully we find out soon!!!!
This series! Misti Murphy has outdone herself! Each book leaves you with a cliff hanger to the next! There is so much going on on this series. You need to read them in order so you really get into the characters. Your up, then down to be left waiting for the next one! Exactly how a good author should leave you, demanding more!
I made the mistake of seeing that this wasn't just a duet and called it a day half way through this book (the second one). I started the series thinking it would be one book for each of the brothers and their friends, but learning that the author apparently decided to make it a weird blackmail series with three books that dragged on about the same couple was too much for me.
Ivy and Rogue are having a rough time. He knows that she’s not telling him everything, like her brother is the man Rogue and his family hate most in the world. Meanwhile she’s trying to protect the ones she loves from said brother. But can she keep anyone safe, much less herself?
Absofreakinglutely amazing read with phenomenal characters, pain, growth, revelations, non-stop build, an intense love with scorching hot chemistry. Can't wait for the rest of this story.
Ohhh the cliff hanger sucks lol I really hope the next one is out going to see now!!!!! Because that is too much to leave me waiting on lol but it’s a good book.
The continues of Ivy and Rogue story. Will they get over the hurtles thrown at them? Can Ivy let things go and let Rogue completely in? Will there be a HEA?
