Play pretend

Rate this book
Two steamy, stand-alone romance stories with a little play pretend...

CARMELA (a flirty, forty+ divorced, short story)
Carmela Beltran found her play pretend cohort in Hayes Felker. The playing was fun, and they make a mutual agreement for a platonic connection. Nothing more. But denying their growing attraction isn't so simple - especially for these two divorcees that only want to avoid complications.

MARIANELA (a forced proximity/competition novella)
When Mari Randall meets Finn Barron in try-outs for a reality TV show, they form a partnership to help each other advance. But things aren't exactly as they seem and it's looking like one - or both - might be playing for more than just the chance at money. Ambition, betrayal and possible love are in play.

You don’t understand. This is the best book I’ve read in a long time. It’s definitely going to be my favourite read of 2022.

The pining, the sexual tension. Everyone is a perfect blend of so very ADULT and good at communicating but also there are ISSUES. UGH.

You will not regret buying this. I read it on KU and then immediately bought it. I’m going to devour everything de Oro writes.

Two for 1

Two vastly different stories in this book. One hair dresser/music producer and the other reality show both fake dating in some capacity.
