First off, I have an intense dislike of reviews that give away the plot of a story. As ARC readers we get the chance to discover the book on our own as so should other readers. I don’t feel any review should outline the story, they are just to give our opinion on the story. So.. On to my opinion.. I was totally taken with Tempest House. The book portrays the house as the perfect beach getaway. The characters attached to Tempest House are well rounded out, without giving away every secret of their lives, leaving room for more books to come out, that will expand their stories. I'm not a huge fan of cliff hangers, but the book did resolve one of the main story lines, so it wasn't too bad. It definitely ends with you wanting more. The end leaves you with an omgosh moment and a smile. I will be reading the next in the series as it definitely peaked my interest and was well written enough to make me want to continue it. It's not a long book. Just the perfect length to give you a couple hours to relax and reload. All in all a nice clean, well put together, relaxing beach read. Enjoy. Now for the business part.. if you think this review helped you please click the button for me. Thanks.
This cozy mystery’s romance was set at a normal pace and so realistic that I couldn’t believe that I was reading. Thank Molly for the normalcy of two mature adults! This romance’s mystery was very subtle. No spoiler: I had worked in that industry for over a decade and the author’s presentation of it was spot on and all too common. It also didn’t take over the entire storyline as some cozies are apt to do. I lived in the Tampa area for a while; the cover and beach descriptions brought back memories I spent there with my dad. Well done and looking forward to reading the next in series.
A well written short story with excellent well described characters and A good storyline. Family intrigue, big business, a little romance and some eccentric characters make this a fun read. I look forward to reading more of these stories. I received a complimentary copy from the Author and am leaving a honest voluntary review.
Eva is the women we would all like our business girls to be. Grow up, be smart, but most of all be loving. Running a business and taking over for her father is tough, but then she meets Arlington and his family at Tempest House.
Great read and fantastic story. Cliff hanger yet gives you a push to continue reading the next book. Characters and detailed information of the area gives you extra insight on the story. Will be reading more from this author.
This was a good quick read. There is family drama and suspense. Once you start you won't stop til your finished. I was given an advanced reader copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
Beach living at its best. Each resort had its own special offerings. Opened by different families with different values. Amazing how the 2nd generations held better values
I enjoyed the story and characters, who came to life, in this book. Though short it did not feel rushed and gave background information and personality to characters. I must admit to reading some sentences over several times and still couldn't quite understand them but ended up shrugging. and moving on. Definitely reading the next in this series.
