Heart surgeon, Tosin Adelaja, has been smashing all his goals, career-wise, but his personal life is in shambles.
He makes up his mind to realign his values, and get his life back on course. In the process, he meets Lesley, a passionate life coach, who gives him useful pointers on how to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
But as he begins to make strides in his journey of self-discovery, a concealed mistake from his past comes back to haunt him.
Suddenly, all that he’s worked so hard to achieve including his reputation seems to be on the line. He’s also come to realise that his feelings for Lesley are far from platonic.
Tosin must make some tough decisions about how to resolve the challenges in his life but his greatest fear is losing Lesley, the only woman he’s ever really loved, in the process.
I read the first in its series, Dance With Me and I so much enjoyed , gushed and re-read it and one can character that got me to my nerves when reading that was Tosin, Our very own Doctor😁. I was really looking forward to reading about his character subsequently and I'm glad I finally get to read it. Should I say, some of us knew from the beginning that that Vicky girl had a lot going on about her that wasn't really cool, well she got what she wanted in a bigger way😁😁. I'm super glad for Tosin that he eventually got is happily ever after. (I love HEAs by the way). To Lesley, you were as real as it can get, very relatable and I loved how your character evolved. I loved every book written by the author and this is no exception. So many lessons to be learnt and all the 'mushiness' of a romance novel. This is another 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for me this year.
Tosin and company took us on a ride. I was not sure I liked him after the way he acted in Ms Adeyemi's other book. Enter Lesley who although a wonderful Christian, disappeared at the first sign of trouble. She got on my nerves a bit. I love how God kept bringing these people back to himself. He works all things for His glory and our good. Hoping Vicky and Pastor Jimi come together. A few typos keep it from being 5 stars.
