This book may be on the shorter side of a Knights Legion MC story, but that certainly doesn't mean we didn't cover a LOT of ground. Not only do we get glimpses of the many struggles and personal relationships between previously featured Knight family members, but we also get a more in depth look at the origins of Jonah and Reign's love story. Buff and Reign are former sweethearts, and after dealing with the trauma brought on by spending 4 years apart,Buff locates and rescues his long time love from a dangerous and terrible situation with a rival MC. A but if chaos and fallout ensues.I enjoyed the banter and chemistry between these two,and I look forward to the conclusion of their story.
The Knight’s Legion MC North Dakota Chapter series has another great installment with Buff’s story. He once had a love that he let go but now years later he was coming to her rescue. This story captivated me until the very end. It always had me guessing what was just around the corner only to make this an action-packed book that I couldn’t put down. I cannot wait to see what’s next with Bones’ story.
Really enjoyed this emotional thriller it has so much going on in this action packed second chance read, got to give it to Naomi, she brought it with this one that had two amazing characters destined to be together. Buff and Reign's story is an emotional one with lots of highs and lows with twists and turns, this opens up with Buff looking for the love of his life that got away only because her father sends her away and she is found in not so good condition in another MC and Reign isn't having a nice life she is being tormented. Great read and i recommend this authors series because she gives you some awesome storylines.
Being a big fan of Ms. Porter I was excited to see what Buff's Reign brought us and she gave us an emotional second chance romance that has my heart breaking for Reign. Buff, Jonah, and Reign's relationship started when they were teens and it was teen love however her parents did not want her anywhere near a dirty and disgusting biker guy so they sent her away for college. Their connection was so strong that Buff years later had a gut feeling that something was wrong. The news that he finds out about her was not good and he is determined to get her back. When he brings her home will she be welcomed with open arms because of where she was? Was she there of her own free will? Reign knows what will happen to her if Jonah found her in Dakota, so why is she here at another club? After Buff brings her back to the MC farm and has her family with her, she starts to realize that the happy family that she thought she had is not what it seems. Reign makes a startling realization that her father was not who she thought he was.
I enjoyed the flashbacks to their life together as teenagers and you could see how much they loved one another. We also got an insight into Bone and the internal fight that is brewing inside of him. Is he acting like someone that I liked in this book? No. Do we know what happened to have him acting the way he is, no but I am sure when his story comes out he will be one that will grab a hold of our hearts.
Although Buff's Reign was on the shorter side of the rest of Ms. Porter's book it was still one that I did enjoy. It left you with questions that I am sure will be answered in future books.
Holy WOW!! Naomi Porter you have stolen the show with Buff's Reign. I devoured this book in one sitting. I could not put it down once I started it. Buff and Reign's story is one of young love that is deep, true, and unbreakable. Their bond is so intense that even years and miles apart couldn't break them. Their road is bumpy and filled with a few twist and turns that will definitely leave you wanting more. Regrets will flow along with tears, secrets, sorrow, and true happiness. The club still is having issues with the FF who have stepped up their game in attempting to take over the Knight's Legion territory. With this being said there is a little side story blooming with Buff's older brother Bone. We have been given snippets at what it may be, but we will have to wait for his story which is next in the series. Thank God because I for 1 am not patient and need to know!!!
I enjoyed this book and Buff being so unashamedly head over heels in love with Reign right from the start was super sweet. This isn’t a book that can be read as a stand alone. I’d honestly forgotten why Buff was just now starting to look for Reign, so I wish a re-cap or a chapter reintroducing and/or setting the stage for what was going on or what had gone in between Buff and Reign had been included at the start. This is a shorter book and I know that we will see more of these characters, but I was left wanting more from them in their own book. It was awesome seeing everyone again and the chapters with Bone and Lady M are enlightening and heartbreaking. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
I know, I am wordy. It can't be helped. However, if you've never experienced KLMC: North Dakota, do yourself a huge favor and start at the beginning. Buff's Reign is more of a filler book to advance the timeline of the overall story. I am not sure that it would be as enjoyable as a standalone. You'd miss the little things that become huge in Book 3.
Buff and Reign
The Good:
You have to rely on the clues from the other books to really understand their relationship. It doesn't say if they met in high school, but when Reign graduates, Buff decides that the best thing for her is to let her go. She's destined for big things, and he's not going to hold her back. Buff knows he's not free as his family comes first. (Cobra's Karma).
When Buff's Reign starts, Buff has had been having premonitions that something's wrong with Reign. He can't let it go, so it leads him on the trail to find her. The story is told in the present day timeline, but with little snippets into the past that are the perfect touch. If you combine all of the clues, you can tell these two should have been together. They were just too young to figure it out.
The Not So Good:
1. I don't think I liked them together as adults. To add to that, there's also a possibility that I just didn't understand why they should reunite. If you split the story in half, Buff and Reign's actual story is only about half of the content. There's just not enough to formulate an opinion in either direction besides just saying they should be together.
2. Every time I thought the plot was thickening, I was sorely disappointed. For example: There's some sort of conflict starting to form. In my mind, I am thinking, "This is it. This is the point where it's all going to fall into place." Conflict isn't really explored or is resolved with a simple fix. For me, I just wanted more. The nitty gritty of it all.
Bone:
I don't think Bone will replace Dodge as my favorite, but I already have a strong suspicion that I am either going to love him or hate him.
The Good:
Bone and Lady Me both have chapters dedicated to their own points of view. There's more details to scrutinize and figure out what is actually going on. It's also starting to get noticed by more than one person in the family.
The Bad:
When it comes to the KLMC, I'm pretty good at figuring out what's coming next based on the little nuggets that are dropped. This time, I am more confused than anything, and it's starting to aggravate me. In my opinion, when Bone's story finally comes out, it's either going to be epic or crash really hard. Don't get me wrong! I am hoping for epic. However, I am also preparing for "All of that time for this??." We shall see.
Buff’s Reign is the third book in the Knight’s Legion MC: North Dakota Chapter series. This one focuses on Buff (Jonah) Knight and his former girlfriend Reign, the one he let get away.
Buff knows something is wrong with Reign - he’s got a feeling he can’t ignore. It’s been a few years since he’s seen her, but he just knows. Even though they never liked him, he goes to her parents’ house to get her number. Her parents admit they’ve lost contact and haven’t spoken with her for months. It doesn’t take long for Buff to use the MC’s resources to find her living with the President of the Hell’s Bells MC, but it quickly becomes obvious that she’s not there of her own free will. When Buff rescues Reign, there are so many questions. Will the Knight family be able to trust Reign again? Can Reign and Buff pick up where they left off? Can Reign’s parents ever accept Buff as part of their daughter’s life?
I am a big fan of Naomi Porter and the Knight’s Legion universe. This one is good and pushes the continuing story of the enemy Faceless Frat and questions about Bone’s (Micah’s) history, but it left me wanting more. This one lacked the usual history and depth of the other books. I would have loved more background of Buff and Reign’s romance, and I think the book would have been so much better with some conversations between Buff and Reign, not just an immediate reunion. I also think there should have been more attention paid to The trauma Reign would have been experiencing. The ending was kind of sudden, and there was never any real closure with Cobra and his feelings about Reign’s return. It almost feels like part one of a duet. I love the Knight family - especially Lady M who is the ultimate MC matriarch. The family is tight and thoroughly devoted to one another, but Micah’s anguish is causing strain. And I love the action and the threat from Faceless Frat which is building. I’m intrigued as well by the young Hell’s Bells prospect RJ and Storm’s interest in him.
This can be read as a standalone, but I really recommend you read all the Knight’s Legion books to get the full history and an understanding of all the characters. It’s a great series.
Guys, you know that I love a good MC series. I've read so many and I can't guess enough. It's awesome. This author is writing this amazing series that I saw myself fall in love with even more after each book. Once one book ended, I was left wanting more, and more. It's a vicious cycle that I wouldn't miss out on anything. Naomi Porter is this sweet lady, that I love to text, with a wicked mind... Oh yes, sir. Just give her a chance and get ready. Buff's Reign is her latest release and it's the third book from the Knight's Legion MC series, North Dakota series. This new book explores the lives of Buff and Reign. But guys, I advise you to read this series from the beginning. These two were in love with each other, though it would be a forever thing until it wasn't. Reign had to leave for school and left Buff behind. Buff is a Knight, born into the MC world, he's loyal to a fault. He's well invested in that world and will do everything he can to protect them. When he finds out that Reign is missing... Reign thought that leaving her love behind was the way to go since she wanted to explore, study, and be someone, but life had other ideas and she was a dropout. Now, she works at an MC bar and... I love this series, and this new book was powerful. Amazing plot, well written, super dark, intense, and emotional. How much pain can someone endure without losing their soul? How can you overcome years of abuse without fighting for yourself? Why stay in that position? Sometimes the answer is right in front of you, so you need to open your eyes and see it. These two were perfect for each other and you can feel the love they shared. It's well known that true love is forever, so why not fight for it? This book was so so good and I can't wait for what's about to come. Seriously Naomi...why torture us like that? Now ik here at 2 am, biting my nails and thinking about the big secret Bone is hiding... That book is going to be explosive... I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Buff's Reign is book three in the Knight's Legion MC Series North Dakota Chapter. This is a Second chance at love romance. Unfortunately, I didn't really connect with this book and here's why.
There was no depth or plot development to Buff's story. It just seemed like the entire book was on fast forward. We get about one snippet from Buff and Reign's past and then boom present day and he's on the search to get her. I would have liked to see their relationship from the past and then transition to their lives in the present. Learn who they are today and what their journey along the way was working up to their crossing paths again.
Because there was no real plot development there was also no character development. We didn't get to know them individually, what made them tick, ETC. These characters had been separated for years, then when they meet again they practically pick up where they left off. I wasn't too keen on how quick they got back together, physically and otherwise. They were totally different people by then, with new experiences, trauma, ETC. They needed to get to know each other again.
Lastly, this didn't feel like Buff's book. Bone and Lady M stole all the thunder. The entire book I was more worried about what is happening with them and all the possible secrets they are holding. As well as Storm's (MN Chapter MC President and Knight cousin) mystery man he demanded North Dakota nab for him.
Speaking of Storm, I find North Dakota's relationship with him odd. They are MC brothers AND blood family. Yet they act like rival clubs and strangers. They are supposed to be all about family and loyalty yet all the Knights are constantly holding secrets and seem to hardly trust each other. I mean every family has their drama, but where's the trust, loyalty, and Brotherhood?
The book IS entertaining and had an edge to it that was different then the others. It also does leave me wanting more...more of Bone and what could possibly be happening. I just feel Buff got cheated and that this story didn't do him any justice.
In this instalment of the Knights we meet Reign a woman full of regret, with her biggest being leaving the love of Jonah Knight (buff the Knights enforcer), for bigger and better things. Now her life is unrecognisable from the plan she had for it, until Buff walks back into her life, making good on his promise to capture her and not let go. Setting off a chain reaction and barrelling towards an MC war, can this couple make it through the trauma life has dealt them. Ok so I really wanted to Like this couple, but… I didn’t ☹ I just couldn’t connect with reigns character this may have been because I needed more back story. This was quite a short instalment and I felt like I needed more about what they had both been through. I thought that this booked finished before I was ready for it too. So much happening to this couple and around this couple, there was so much more I needed to know. Having said that we got so much information in this book! BONE! We have little titbits of who he really is (and the relationships he has with his brothers) and why he might be the way he is, and my heart cracked a little for him! (He may be the new favourite) All I know about Naomi’s books is that I’m always left wanting to know more and the need for more information! Can’t wait for the next instalment and to learn more about this couple and the whole family.
The minute that Buff heard that Reign was in trouble. He moved heaven and earth to get her to safety and bring her home. I loved that. What happened after that was a bit weird for me.
Reign and Buff were in love with each other, but when she finished school her parents insisted, she go away to college, and so did Buff. But things didn’t turn out the way she wanted. School wasn’t going so well, and she was on her way home, when her car broke down and she met her nightmare.
When Buff finds her, she is in a bad place and with a terrible MC, who’s prez is abusing her. But he doesn’t care if he must go to war but his getting his girl out.
So I enjoyed the story. Reign’s behavior was a bit odd for me. For someone who was abused she was going on like normal. Just here and there when Buff did something to annoy her she threw her toys out of the cot. I enjoyed the suspense and action. I definitely want to read Bones’s story though.
The heroine who apparently had been sexually assaulted and beaten by her boyfriend jumped straight into bed with the hero the day he rescues her and she’s missing teeth and bruised from her captors beating. He has rough sex with her like she’s not all beaten up.
She then throws comments his way that he’s just like her rapist when she’d never told him about it. She behaved like nothing was wrong and she hadn’t been abused for 18 months. Like it was nothing. And he was so dense he didn’t pick up on it. She talks non stop about Keg (the captor) as if she’s in love with him.
And the whole captivity for 18 months was just odd. He makes a threat and she automatically believes it and makes no effort to “save” her parents.
Then one day she remembers her dad beat her mum too.
Like WTF. What a shit show.

Naomi Porter knows how to write a book. The KLMC series is addicting and Buff & Reign's story is no different. They are in love but after they break up and go different ways we find that they still love each other. Reign finds herself in a horrible situation that she just can't get out of. Buff becomes the knight in shining armor. Their back story is explored and we see how their love is rekindled with danger lurking in the background. The biggest mystery comes from Biff's brother, Bone. He is estranged from his family and although we are getting little snippets we just don't have the full story. Hopefully this will be explored in the next book. Meanwhile, we revisit old characters and find out what is going on in their lives. This was a shorter, easy read that left me wanting more.
Loved Buff and Reign's story! This book was on the shorter side but still had the fire that all the KLMC men have. This is a second chance romance Buff and Reign had gone thier separate ways due to life and people dictating because they thought they were keeping someone safe. Reign ended up going through love, loss and pain that could have been avoided. Buff never stopped loving Reign and will do anything to love and protect or even from those closet to her. Life takes some if us on adventures some good others not do much but in the end it's always these life experiences that shape us to who we are today Love Buff and Reign and looking forward to the next book in the KLMC series. We get to read about past character in the previous KLMC books which I absolutely love.
Really enjoyed this emotional thriller it has so much going on in this action packed second chance read, got to give it to Naomi, she brought it with this one that had two amazing characters destined to be together. Buff and Reign's story is an emotional one with lots of highs and lows with twists and turns.
This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is Buff and Reign’s story. These two were high school sweethearts, until she leaves to go to college. When college does not work out, Reign is on her way home when her car breaks down, and her nightmare of abuse begins. Buff is a cocky enforcer for his MC, and he has a gut instinct that somethings if wrong with Reign, and head out to find her. This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with suspense, danger, intrigue, family, friendships, humor, witty banter, second chances, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, tragic, twisted, and steamy thrilling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Reign leaves her boyfriend and home town for a better life at college encouraged ( forced) by her over bearing dad. Jonah/Buff did stand by her decision, that’s love her hurt his own heart so she would have everything she wanted for her future. It didn’t exactly go to plan. Buff thought about what could have been, he started having, almost premonitions, a bad feeling about things regarding Reign and he was right in the money, she’s got herself mixed up with the hells belles MC president. As with his brothers he gets his HEA but unlike his sisters in law I didn’t like Reign, I hurt for her and what she’d been through but if she hasn’t been kicked out of college would she have tried to go home and see Jonah? I don’t think so
Once again Naomi DOES NOT disappoint! I was hooked from the beginning and absolutely loved Reign and Buffs relationship and how fiery it is. Reign is such a strong character and what she went through was awful but finding out her mum has also gone through it for years and then have the courage to stick with Reign and not go back with him, was perfect and it will only make them stronger in the long run. As always I love reading about the other characters and what there up to. I am loving the North Dakota series and must say I’m really looking forward to Pipers book. Though I am massively intrigued to know what secret Lady M, Ben & Bone are hiding?? Hoping we find that out in Bones book……
This story is about Buff and Reign reuniting. We get a little bit of the beginning leading up to the time frame when they went their separate ways. Reign has been in a bad situation for the past few years and once Buff gets word he goes to find her. There is a little bit of drama that happens after he brings her back with him. I like how protective Buff is and I enjoyed getting to know him. I felt for Reign with what she went through!
I love this family more and more with each book and I’m so excited for Bones!
I love Buff but cobra is still my man. Bones has been pulling my heartstrings though. I believe I kno whats going on but I don’t. I have so many questions that I need answers too an I’m sure Naomi will answer them eventually. Buffs story was amazing an i can’t wait til the next one!! Who will be next? Who’s the kid? What’s going on with bones? What’s the family secret? What’s storms secret? Will cobra finally find out what’s going on? See tons of questions. I need answers!! This shall be continued til the next book!!
Buff and reign’s story is one of young love that is unbreakable and deep and their bond is so intense that even years apart couldn’t break them I love the twists and turns of the book and watching their love story. I just found it a lil to short for me like I was wanting more of buff and reign’s story but I will say I loved the lil side story on Jonah’s older brother bone you have been given little snippets on his story and it has left me wanting more I cant wait for his story next in the series and So another amazing read by Naomi Porter I cant wait to see what she has next with bones story
Another amazing 5***** book by Ms. Porter! I think this book is my favorite so far, at least out of the Dakota boys! I would have liked to see it a little longer than it was, but it was still a great book! I loved reading about Buff and Reign, especially with how explosive they are when they get together (past and current). The underlying plot/drama I believe is coming to a head soon, and I CANNOT WAIT to finally discover what that secret is! Although, I think I have an idea, I can't wait to see what actually happens! Great job again, and I am looking forward to more of this great series!!
Buff never got over Reign, he let her go because he loved her. Reign's leaving didn't go as planned and now she believes that maybe this could be her life. She is a woman living in fear, regret and longing. Longing for her one love, and Buff well he gets a feeling. So he follows it through, what he learns starts him on the path to getting his woman back. Some secrets are being held, and you get a feel for what may come. This story was told as only Naomi can with much emotion and makes you feel all those feels. I swear each book gets better and better.
I absolutely love all of the KLMC books. If you haven’t read them yet, do not start with this one, start from the beginning. With that being said, I felt that Buff and Reign’s story left me wanting more. I didn’t feel like we got the entire story of what happened to Reign that caused her to be in trouble in the first place. With the integration of Lady M & Bones’ stories in the book, I’m hoping that we will get answers further down the road.

When Buff finds out his ex girlfriend, whom he still loves, is missing, he goes in search of her and what he finds makes his blood boil. He and a few others go to rescue her. Reign is held captive and abused by the Prez of Hell’s Bells MC to keep her there he threatens to kill all she loves, her family and Jonah.
Loved this, it was shortish but non the less entertaining, every page was griping and I couldn't turn them fast enough.
This second chance romance have all the feels you can think of. Angst, happiness, forgiveness, the ability to forgive or not. You name it, this couple went through it, I find that I like Buff a lot, Reign not so much. But they seem to mesh well, like they belong together, while reading this book I see a lot of things gearing up for these bikers. I am rooting for all of them, thank you author Naomi Porter, you poured your heart into this amazing recommendable book....
Buff knows what he wants and goes after it despite the consequences or aftermath.
Reign is a spitfire who stands up for herself even in the worst of situations.
These two together are unstoppable. I love Buff's alpha male tendencies towards Reign. I love Reign's no non-sense attitude with Buff. They are honestly perfect together.
Despite the ups and down, they always come back together stronger than ever.
This is the third book in the North Dakota chapter series and does not disappoint. Naomi Porter makes you actually feel for the characters she writes. This book was in the shorter side compared to others in the series but you still get all the feelings you would expect from Naomi’s stories. Buff thought he was doing the right thing by letting Reign go but it is obvious from the beginning they are meant to be together.
Naomi Porter does it again Another great instalment of the knights legion MC as alway well written fabulous read, Buff goes in search of the girl who broke is heart yeas ago only to find her with another not so nice MC misunderstandings ( I wasn’t to slap Buff and Cobra upside the head ) and threats to loved one’s threatened to tear them apart again. action pack with alpha males strong woman, passion and family can’t wait for the next one
