What if God tells you to go… and then goes silent?
The message was Go to Israel. The angels delivered it themselves. But now everything is falling apart.
Pursued by enemies on every side, battered by loss, and starved for answers, Nathan and his group of faithful survivors begin to question everything—including each other. Was the message real? Were the angels deceivers? Did they mishear the voice of God?
And why won’t He answer now?
As paranoia spreads and tempers rise, unity begins to splinter. Faith turns to suspicion. Leaders are challenged. Old wounds reopen. And in the middle of it all lurks a darker enemy—Satan himself, manipulating from the shadows.
They were told to wait on the Lord. But how long can they wait before they destroy themselves?
The silence of God is sometimes the loudest test of all.
Waiting is Book 4 in The Saints of Salvation, a heart-wrenching Christian apocalypse series where spiritual warfare collides with raw human doubt—and only those who endure to the end will be saved.
Traveling to the keys in Florida on the bottom sands of the ocean being pursued by demons as well as troops from the anti Christ makes for an amazing book 4. But imagine their surprise when the 3angels appear and tell everyone they need to go to Jerusalem for the end of the Tribulation. How will they get there? In the battle before they actually get to the Keys the children and the oldest of the ones traveling with them including Nates's parents who among the rest all turn their lives over to Jesus and are saved are killed. They are all with Jesus and safe. Now on to Jerusalem by way of the sea bed till they arrive nearer to Jerusalem. This is the final showdown between good and evil and God and the believers travel home.
I understand this is a work of fiction but I caution you to know the scriptures and who Jesus is. The path to salvation is taken out of context and watered down. As it a lot of other basic Christian principles. The author diminished who the Lord is and rarely acknowledge the reverence and fear of the Lord. Reducing him to a construct who uses slang, talks like a teenager, all the while having the believers in the story constantly refer to him as daddy. It just all seems so wrong.
It was such beautiful experience to experience some of VJS characters again
I was a megs fan of the end series , so you can imagine my swooning over thus amazing series . The brilliance of this series is that you can read it as a stand alone or in addition to the end series . Either way , read these books , they are amazing . Also In would g Encourage you read everything else that VJ dunn has written , you will love every page and every chapter as I have.
Love this whole series. Actually I'm very sorry to see it end. The fortitude, companionship, love, faith, the Lord's protection, the angels, the battles with Satan's army, the explanation of the judgements, getting to Israel and,of course, the loss of loved one are all wrapped up in the story. Come Lord Jesus come. Great job. Thank you.
Kept me enthralled until the end of the last book!
I truly enjoyed this series about the end times. It gives me hope for the future no matter what this crazy world throws at me. The characters were written well and I enjoyed getting to know them. Thank you for such enjoyable reading!
Loved all four books. I've had a personal relationship w God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for a very long time and I feel even closure to them after reading these books! Many times I opened my bible to read the versus referred to in the books. Thank you!
All four books in this refused great. Several places make you want to hold your breath because you have no ideal of what is going to happen. I loved this series
Wow! This series is amazing! I couldn't put it down. Even though it is fiction, obviously, with the story going with the scriptures, it could very well be very close to what happens at the end of times. The characters are very believable and loveable as well. I definitely recommend this series.
I absolutely loved this series. As a Christian, I hope to be welcomed home. I long to hear the voice of Yeshua. I love the fact that the author attributes a sense of humor in the Angels and in Yahweh. Well done.
For me this was a disappointment. I just did not like any of this fourth book. The story line made no sense for me. And the ending was too quick for a four book build up. I never liked that God was 'daddy'. Just weird to me. I expected more for when God came at the end of times.
An amazing conclusion to a wonderful series. Dramatic and expressive of what the last few minutes of the world as,we know it may be like. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
The series is a great reminder to always trust in God and to listen to him speak to your heart. Develop a closer relationship and understand that God loves you.
All four of this series was great. I couldn't put the books down i just had to keep reading. The humor and joy and sadness of the characters touched me. GOOD JOB VJ DUNN!
