West Virginia author Patricia Hopper ventures away from her Irish-based historical novels for an entertaining interlude into cozy romance. Florist Prudence Velcray takes matters into her own hands and dumps her current boyfriend before he can do the same to her. Right before Valentine's Day. Why? Because that's MO. Might as well rip off the band-aid. Deciding to boycott the holiday altogether, Prudence travels to the mountainous Snowline Mountain Resort for some distraction, which she finds in the form of an unwanted but irresistible fellow skier. Sebastian Stone isn't interested in a relationship either, but Cupid has a mind of his own.

This one was almost in my did not finish list. the writing was kinda bad, the plot was just alright. I'd skip this one. I went with 2 stars since I did finish it, but really it was pretty rough. (lots of editing errors too)

Loved the mention of various locations around Pittsburgh. Fun, cozy read from a local author 😊
