I enjoyed this story. It is an entertaining enemies to lovers Story. Cathy is an only child who lost her mother at birth. Her father showers her with money and things but not love. She is a spoiled rich girl that likes to party. Her father threatens her but it doesn't do any good until she gets kidnapped. Then her dad gets her a bodyguard, Dan, to keep her safe. Dan is attracted to Cathy immediately but doesn't allow himself to get physical. Then they are stuck in Cathy's apartment for awhile and things change and they can't avoid the attraction. Thank you for the copy Jodi!

Jodi Jacobs is a new to me author. I enjoyed this story! It was a sweet and spicy bodyguard romance. Cathy is a spoiled rich girl, whose father showers her with money and material things, but no love. Dan is the bodyguard hired to protect her from threats and keep her in line. They both have instant chemistry, but Dan tries to keep it professional. Their relationship then gets more steamy and physical. They both really care for each other. There are some plot twists, but eventually they get their HEA! Great novella and I’ll be reading more from Jodi Jacobs!

Cathy is a snobbish rich girl looking for excitement and love. Her father thinks the solution is to throw money at her but doesn't give her the love she desires. So, she acts out getting drunk and acting foolish. When she is kidnapped, good ole dad hires a bodyguard/baby sitter so he doesn't have to be bothered.
Dan has been a bodyguard for 10 years but he has his hands full with Cathy and her bratty actions. We follow there journey from dislike to tolerance to lovers.

I enjoyed the book and I think you will too. I received an advance copy for my honest opinion.

Entertaining read, very apt book title! Cathy is a rich, spoiled, privileged, stubborn, clever and also very attitudinal woman who is also very physically attractive. Dan has been hired to be her bodyguard after her life was threatened.
Lots of tension, emotional sparing, sparks, between the pair, as Dan restricts Cathy’s behaviour for her own protection. Some unexpected twists in the plot challenge the predictability of the outcome.
I received this book as an arc and this review is entirely voluntary.

If I could give this short piece zero stars I would, but because I couldn’t, I’m just going to state it. Don’t bother reading this garbage. It is complete rubbish, Poorly written and the ending is so abrupt you actually think it’s going to end on a cliffhanger. Also there is no chemistry between the bodyguard and this ridiculously silly female character. I have a section in my Kindle but I entitled ‘garbage’ so I know not to waste time on a particular author anymore. Guess where this is going?

Cathy isn't just a brat. She is a snob. Rude. Mean. Lazy. I was so feeling sorry for her new bodyguard, Dan. But to each their own. He loved her curves.Her attitude turned him on. He wasn't going to be able to keep his hands off of her. He was going to keep her safe. But from who? That's the question.
A hot, fun, entertaining read.

Dan and Cathy are rich girl and bodyguard - enemies to lovers. These stories always fascinate me reading how the bodyguard tries so very hard not to succumb to his feelings - trying to remain professional.
Jodi Jacobs doesn't miss a beat with this one.

DNF. Got to 40% but just couldn’t push through. Really didn’t pull me in at all. The main character Cathy is super spoiled and I didn’t feel any chemistry between her and the bodyguard. I don’t often give up on books, but did on this one.
