10/10 Rec. This is the first gladiator feline type story I ever read and I love it. The character building is amazing along with the world building. Love that it wasn’t based on Earth. This quote below is the quote that the author posted on tik tok that convinced me to read the book🥰

I really liked Yve. She’s so sassy, knows what she wants and she’s brave enough to go after it. She might be a little impulsive and brash but all she wants is to enjoy life and find someone who sees her for who she really is.
And Farrokh is just the right male for her. He’s fearless, strong, sexy, possessive and protective. And I loved his determination and patience to win his female.
I loved how good Yve and Farrokh were together. They were so perfect for each other, both seeking thrills and adventures. Yve and Farrokh were such a passionate couple and a really great match and I loved them so much.
Even more, we got more glimpses of the exciting gladiator games and the dangerous trials.
Overall, this short and steamy novella promises another exciting series from the author.
I loved it and cannot wait to read more about the Ardun Royal Guard!

Prequel Novella, standalone with no cliffy. Adult read featuring biting, purring, barbed peens and is heavy on the Spice. A Light hearted read.
We have Yve our sassy, frivolous human whose scent captures the attention of Farrokh, our feline MMC, a contestant in the Gladiator games; a competition to win a place with the Ardun Royal Guard.
Fast paced with a simple plot bringing these two engaging characters together. Superb World building, likeable characters with flaws that make you groan and think argh I know someone like that!
This is a quick, fun romp of a read, made me laugh out loud and with hind sight, probably not the best choice to get stuck into whilst in a quiet waiting room!
Excellent start to the series and I shall read the rest, authors writing style will translate well to the longer book and I cannot wait to read more.

Really good for a short novella! Honestly felt longer than it was because of how good the pacing was. I’ll be reading the rest of the series to see how the writing style translates to full books!

This was a short story around 60 pages.
Heroine did a bad job. Her boss was constantly asking her to fix things because heroine didn't care. She is also a little overweight (hero's trainer calls her a hairless whale).
I just felt neither of them had their lives together. Even the ending she and him were both working bad temp jobs and trying to figure out how to pay for their wedding.

Farrokh and Yve is a great quick read
One is adrenaline chaser and the other one is hungry for adventure, can you imagine the impulsive decision they make together? It involves breaking the rule (spicy one🤫🔥) caught in video for the entire galaxy to see. And oh!! did I mention? Farrokh is entering in one of the most prestige competition to be one of the Royal Guard. You know what gives Farrokh the strength to be one of the top competitors? Yves👙 (minus the top)😉 inhaling her scent. 😏

Super fun quick read
I loved this book, and can't wait to read the others in the series! Yve is impulsive and has trouble getting attached, and she meets her perfect match in Farrokh... I love them together and I hope we see them again in the next books...
