P.s. It's not bad as in offensively bad. But, I didn't recall how bad the dirty talk was in this author other books. He wants to fuck her so hard his dick got stuck in her. Is this hot in any way??? That looks like a sex-sent-me-to-the-ER case in the making there.

I wanted to like this book I really did. I made it half way and couldn’t take it. Why you may ask-
🚩 Just got out of jail but YES let me attack this man in front of my boss
🚩 “Cancel them. And if you want to make plans in the future it’s best to run them by me first.”
🚩God, that amusement park scene… *shiver*
The Hero is fifty shades of TOXIC and not even the hot kind I can overlook. I was cringing so hard this whole book. Maybe there’s character development later on, but I’m not gonna be here for it

Dad's Jealous Friend, Book 7 of the Dad's Best Friend series, was about 19-year-old Juniper McDaniel and 38-year-old Jaxon Steele.
Once again, the author has the daughter's age not matching what the MMC said. The last time he saw her before being locked up, she was just a baby in her father's arms. Her mother "died in childbirth" 20 years earlier, but she's only 19? However, the author said she's only 19. BUT...Jaxon was locked up 20 years earlier. How does that work? Then there was the inconsistency about her clothing. She was in jeans on one page, and a lacy white dress on another.
Everything about this book pointed towards the author's immaturity and/or lack of education. The wrong words were used often (break instead of brake etc.), and the entire tone of the story was as if an inexperienced teenager wrote her fantasies down and tried to pass them off as a romance novel. It was poorly written and badly edited.
This story didn't earn more than a two-star rating. It was so poorly executed and unrealistic that it made the phone book more romantic than this poor excuse of a story.

Not a paid review.
First book with this author and while it was written better than most, I cannot get over on one page she's wearing jeans to the next she's in a white dress. One page her father is driving a Corolla and the next he's in a Honda. This things might be forgivable but one evening Jaxon gets in to her for walking home and the next he just let's her leave his place of business.

Ehh…
This is my first time reading a book by this author, so this review is based off of having only read this book. With that being said, I found this book to be extremely boring. The main characters barely speak to each other, by that I mean there isn’t a lot of dialogue. I also found that the author over explained scenarios/situations at times, sometime keeping it simple is okay. I may try another book by this author down the road.

Juniper and Jaxson
Jaxson is leaving prison after 20 years of incarceration. He has nothing but his best friend and his daughter. When they came to pick him up and he saw her, he knew she was the one. But what could he offer her. He wasn't sure but he wasn't letting her go. Great plot, likeable characters and red hot romance? Highly recommended 3.5*

Juniper & Jaxon story was intriguing and headache touch of drama and intensity. The characters were written well. The story was developed well. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series.

Don’t waste your time on this. The fact that the author was proud enough to publish this is mind boggling. I did not finish. It’s so bad, I want to give it a Zero star rating, but I can’t, so I give it 1 star.

I love an OTT male. They have a way of making a woman feel loved and cherished. Jaxon does what ever it takes to keep his woman safe, happy and loved.
