I’ve only ever owned the second volume of this series, which I got at a second hand store when I was just getting into manga as a kid… and it’s still so cute!!

I like how simple and sweet all-ages manga like this is, where the lessons are blatant and the themes are usually around friendship. Clover is super adorable and the dynamic of all her friends is very wholesome. I found myself really appreciating the fact that for any child reading this, there is probably a character they can relate to (I know as a kid it was Shallot for me).

Rereading this was a fun little jaunt through nostalgia for me, but it also really does help soothe my mind to read something so cute when feeling the stresses of adult life. GPA’s and grad applications are less daunting in the face of Clover’s bright optimism.

This series is over a decade old at this point, but I still recommend it if you have young ones who are interested in manga!

Un super manga jeunesse tout mignon qui se passe dans une forêt peuplé de lapins, ours, de taupes... Et tout un tas d'autres animaux où l'on va particulièrement suivre Clover et ses amis dans leurs aventures.

Clover and friends continue on their adventures through the forest, including finding a useful hobby. The artwork is wonderful and the characters are adorable. I feel like we're continuing to see these woodland creatures grow and learn.

Clover starts a new adventure, another day and this time her older friend Rambler visits again. The drawings have been more updated and are a lot better from the 1st book. Then she has an encounter with a human girl. Other stories talk about them learning, to deliver letters, they even made a delivery express because they loved to deliver mail so much. Rambler visits the town again but this time Clover wants to show how cool she was, to make Rambler see that she has grown up. A terrible lie has been spread that made Kale's brothers believe it was true. Clover and her friends have to find a way to make the wishes come true. I love these adventures about clover and her friends because I can relate how common these mistakes she makes and learns from them. I recommend them to children who love animals and manga, especially cute animals.
