After seeing them live last night in Bristol, I could wait to get back and delve into the Church of Ra. This was created in 2008 alongside the release of Mass IIII, so it misses some of the more recent albums and visuals. It outlines the bands philosophy, symbolism and imagery - which is heavily influenced by Christian imagery and iconigraohy even though the band arent Christian but spiritual - and there's a beauty in its minimalism which allows you to create your own interpretations. This band came out if nowhere for me and its safe to say I'm fast becoming obsessed with this Belgian outfit and the mystique that they've created.
