PHENOMENAL!!!! I read this manga because its story telling is exquisite! I wanna immerse myself in these kinds of stories repeatedly. Sometimes, I even want to go into the characters' worlds.
As for Hanako-kun, I wanna buy the manga even if Yen Press' translation isn't as great as the fan translations I see online. But, getting a physical copy is better than relying on the digital one.
Anyway, my favourite scenes in this arc are the backstories of some side characters. I never thought the author would pen it so magnificently! Superb! Hanako-kun's current arc is simply superb! I couldn't praise it more! I fear that if I ramble on too much, I'd spoil it for other readers. So, I have to stop my review here and ramble on Reddit instead.
Hanako's yorishiro being his brother makes sense why Tsukasa is willing to die by his hands.... And I loved Number six and Sumire's story. So heartbreaking, really. It hurt how it ended.
I guess I understand how people say this manga is so toxic and the relationships really are but I love it anyway.

꒰ ঌ 𓏲ּ𝄢˖ ships 𓏲⠀ :ྀི normally i'd add a full characters section but i'm literally only writing this to yap ab hakumire so... 😵💫😋
ᰋ. sumire x hakubo manipulative pathological sacrificial lamb hopeless romantic bride of the gods teenage girl and her entirely emotionless guardian knight SAVE MEEE you guys simply do not understand how important hakubo cannibalizing sumire was to my tiny brain 2 years ago and this february after watching yellowjackets. CANNIBALISM AS A METAPHOR FOR LOVE........ probably my first experience with such a concept (2 years ago). and certainly not my last.... gosh gosh gosh i love them so much. HE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO LOSE HER AGAIN SO HE DID THE ONE THING HE KNEW WOULD MAKE HER HAPPY... "i would love it if someone went to hell over me." -> "silly boy. do you still not understand? you're already in the deepest depths of your own personal hell." who wanna be my guardian when we're teenagers until i turn 18 and am sacrificed by the village which causes you who you previously believed was incapable of any strong emotion to kill every single person in the village women and children included to fulfill my final wish to have someone go insane over me and when we reunite 800 years later because the other legends are trying to break your yorishiro (most important thing to you) (me) and you get sent back to the village and we get stuck im a cave because of a rainstorm and i joke about you finally fulfilling your husbandly duties as it's our final moments together and you actually lean forward and kiss me and say "if i'm going to lose you again i'm going to do it my way" and literally devour me alive while i giggle and blush and tell you you're in hell ... 🫶 hmu
ᰋ. hanako x nene THEY KISSED !! after 18 fucking volumes 😭😵💫 this was probably way more exciting to me 2 yrs ago when i was actually into this series and not just here for the cannibalism as a metaphor for love... cough

ᰋ. so good....... nene i forgive you for being fucking incompetent again because cannibals 🙀🙀💘 sure hope nothing bad happens at the far shore........ hmm
I've been worried recently that maybe I am overrating this, but these last few volumes I keep going back and rereading panels and I only do that with things that I really really like. (I am holding firm at 4 stars because I generally do not like to hand out 5 stars unless it's like... I'm going back and rereading again). Though because of how much I have been enjoying this series, it may change later to five.
By the way... This ghost is going to kill me, for real.
The beginning was so good! The middle I was kind of meh with, felt a little weird with mystery #6, but after reading the end my mind is a little blown and now I'm wondering if the two brothers have been working together for a while. Or maybe it's just Tsukasa doing his own thing. I'm so curious and a little upset because this is the last manga that was published recently. This series is so good, easily jumping to my number one spot.

Czytajcie to
