Read all the Ghana's Most Eligible Billionaires Book 1: Bound by Her Rival's Baby Book 2: A Vow to Claim His Hidden Son
Enemies to lovers with a shot of second chance’ish with a spoonful of SURPRISE...we’re having a baby...deliciousness set in GHANA! My heart is full and happy. I’m ready for book two like three minutes ago.
Atu and Amelie's respective family fued seemed an insurmountable obstacle. I know how deeply rooted family traditions and squabbles can take control over everyone's lives unless confronted. The threat of being disowned topped with being guilted into feeling worthless, disloyal, and a huge disappointment to your parents is real. I enjoyed the book, but I hope for more mention of Ghanaian culture since the series was called Ghana's most eligible bachelors 🇬🇭
The Title Is Really Misleading, And Since I Read The Second But First That Compound My Ability To Enjoy Or Understand The Plot. The Two Stories Time Line Is Entirely Off, Making My Expectation Void. It Took Me Over 6 Weeks To Finish The Story And The Only Reason I Forced Myself Was Because I Had Paid For It And Figured It Could Get Worse, It Didn’t The Ending Was Off But OK.
Contemporary Romance, African American & Black Romance, Multicultural & Interracial Romance, African American & Black Women's Fiction Miniseries Ghana's Most Eligible Billionaires (Book #1)
This is the 1st book in the series and it was very beautifully written. The h and H were family friends until the deaths of his brother and her sister broke the families apart. The H was trying to take over the resort of the h due to the family feud. They always had an attraction to each other. Each had feelings of rejection from their families. An unexpected pregnancy brought them together. Great epilogue.
Bound by Her Rival's Baby is Maya Blake's latest a glamorous and engaging tale with fiercely loyal and strong main characters who have the hallmarks of Maya Blakes strength in the way she dazzles with her words.
Black sheep Atu was Amalie's teenage crush and storming into his office many years later makes her realise her feelings for Atu have never left. Atu is on a mission; he's about to start a war of redemption. Atu won't take No for an answer when Amalie tells him for the hundredth time she.is.not.selling her resort to him. When Atu decides to stay at Amalie's resort, sparks fly. The journey leading to the moment when Atu admits Amalie is a beautiful, compassionate woman with unstoppable determination and ferocious passion is exciting and filled with rollercoaster emotions, tons of drama and feuding families.
I may be preaching to the choir but I think Maya Blake could make a phone book read as interesting exciting and dramatic. The exciting plot weaved through the depth of characters is spellbinding and I can never not put down a book by Maya Blake until it's finished. There is interest, drama, excitement, adventure, exotic locations and love magically spread across 200+ pages and I adored this story. Looking forward to book two.
I am confused maybe because I read book #2 first A Vow To Claim His Hidden Son, then I went back and read book #1 Bound By Her Rival’s Baby. Ewok the main character was barely mentioned in the first book.
This book read as if Atu was the only surviving child after his brother Fiifi died, but in book #1 it’s hard to understand why Atu didn’t seem to be close to his brother Ewok, as it seems like both brother were treated poorly father.
Story was good, just wished it didn’t seem like book #2 was an afterthought and wasn’t set up correctly by book #1 as a proper sequel.
Amelie and Atu were childhood friends but a tragic family feud drove them and their families apart. Atu is trying to purchase Amelie’s beach resort family business . A night of passion results in a baby and marriage but what about a HEA. I enjoyed that the novel was set in Ghana than the usual NYC, Paris etc. it gave the storyline a fresh feel and I enjoyed reading about somewhere I will never go! An enjoyable read.
What a beautiful story, set in my homeland and my honeymoon destination…..a story of love overcoming deep family feuds. From the beautiful shores of Ghana, to magnificent Malaysia and back to base, Maya Blake did an awesome job keeping me glued to the pages of this book. Looking forward to book 2
