Short!!!!!! Sweet!!!!!!! Cray-Cray!!!!!!!!!!!

Monroe and Amir are in a hook-up only relationship. But are they really? Because Amir wants so much more. So he is doing everything in his power to make Monroe his.

Amir wants Monroe to attend his family's Thanksgiving gathering. She is absolutely against it. You see 2 years ago, Monroe attended that same gathering with Rico, Amir's uncle. I'm with Monroe on that mess! Why on earth, would you want to walk into an awkward situation like that? Nevertheless, between Amir's mother and grandmother, I couldn't stop laughing!

Amir wants to convince Monroe to attend his family's Thanksgiving—even though she previously attended on the arm of his uncle. Monroe is not interested in creating family drama, but Amir's dimples and the way he seems to want to make everything official makes his offer, and his sweet potato pie he swears he perfected, impossible to resist.

Starts with a bang, short, steamy, and fun. Grandma steals the show and I'm excited to read about the other Fiennes family men novelettes!

What a cute holiday read!

Monroe and Amir had what some might feel is an unorthodox past, but had recently decided to become friends with benefits. Amir however wanted to take their situationship to a full blown relationship. Monroe wasn't feeling it because he was all talk. Amir decides to turn up the heat, by showing and proving that he wants them to be together. It was a sweet little read as they go back and forth on spending Thanksgiving together and as their relationship evolves into something more.

No rating but this was quick and funny af! Meeting the family for thanksgiving is already a stressful situation without having to add on the fact that Monroe use to date Amir’s uncle 2 years ago. Kind of wish we would have left out the 3rd act conflict but I understand a formula framework. No, thank you definitely puts you in the holiday spirit.

This was a quick, cute read, but the run-on sentences throughout the book were annoying AF. I had to read one of them at least three times before giving up and moving on. No sentence should be six lines long and make zero sense. I don't care if commas are added. Make it make sense! Put a period in that MF after your first thought then begin a new sentence with your next one.

Monroe x Amir

This was so cute and was written by one of my absolute faves, Ms. Warren, so I ate it up. Amir has heaux tendencies. Monroe is well aware of that. So, she’s been moving accordingly with him. But, Amir wants more and he’s willing to prove it. Can he convince Monroe? Especially in time for Thanksgiving? Short and super cute, get into it!

No, Thank you is a short and sexy forbidden romance novelette that is part of an interconnected series by 3 authors. The series is centered around Thanksgiving and a little game that their Uncle Rico started years ago with his nephews. This particular story is about two characters that met through family and now have a friends with benefits thing going on. But now Amir wants a little something more from Monroe. Will she give in?

Sexy, fun and a little taboo, I had fun with this short story. It was a great palate cleanser for the holidays and shad ome great characters. It was my first taste of Alexandra Warren, but I'll definitely be back for more from her.

This was short, sweet, and cute. Who knew after breaking up with an older man, almost 2 years later you’d start a fling with his nephew.

That man turned Monroe every which way but loose and what she thought was just hook ups turned into so much more. I enjoyed this read that gave all the feels, from start to finish.

This was a nice novella. It had a potentially interesting conflict setup that kept the female primary field in angst, but for naught. The situation was anticlimactic. Quick with a bit of spice.

Monroe x Amir😌 How do you convince your fwb to come to Thanksgiving dinner with your family even though she did the same thing two years ago with your uncle?

This was a cute, funny, short holiday read.

This is such a cute and hilarious read. I love the Fiennes family. I was a little nervous to see how the family was going to act seeing that she was showing up with the nephew but it turned out well and Grandma Fiennes stole the show lol. I hope to see more for this family

I gave this read a 3.5/5. This novelette was a very face paced read that wasted no time. Monroe finds herself in a very unique situation of being invited to Thanksgiving by her FWB, Amir. The problem with that is Monroe's already attended Thanksgiving with Amir's family...when she was dating Amir's uncle.

This book could have been super messy but focused more on the internal struggle of Monroe's decision whether or not to go to Thanksgiving with Amir. Monroe is convinced that she and Amir are only casual while Amir is trying his best to convince her to give him a chance.

I was expecting there to be more drama at the dinner but the stress about the dinner was proven to be overthought because no one made a big deal about it at all. It was a cute story. Quick. A bite sized holiday snack.

A time to give....

Ms. Warren this was a terrific but short-loving novelette. Amir and Monroe were making strides to change their relationship status. Amir was determined to change her mind and his doting on Monroe eventually wore her down. This was a perfect story for the giving season. The Thanksgiving dinner turned out for the best for all parties. It wasn't nearly as bad as Monroe thought it would be. Amir got "real" advice from his uncle about Monroe. It was admirable for his uncle to let him know that Monroe is a great woman don't let her go.

This is a novelette for sure but Ms. Warren gives a magnificent storyline. You will enjoy this romance that is brewing between Monroe and Amir. I most certainly suggest this read.

No, Thank You by Alexandra Warren was such a fun, quick read. It’s definitely on the shorter side, but it still manages to deliver a cute romance with great chemistry. Monroe and Amir were easy to root for, and even though there was a classic “third act miscommunication,” it didn’t drag on too long or feel unnecessary. It actually fit their story pretty well.

I especially loved the ending and how everything came full circle with them ending up together at Thanksgiving. It felt warm, cozy, and like the perfect closing moment for their journey. Overall, this was a sweet, feel-good romance that was exactly what I wanted it to be.

I loved this short read. Alex gave us just enough to wet our pallets without leaving us hanging to give us a complete story. Sometimes authors struggle with stories this short, in my opinion, because they leave too many unanswered questions and the story leaves you unfulfilled. There was absolutely none of that here. The characters together were HOT and the gist of their story was different. And I absolutely LOVED seeing some of my favorite characters from past stories make an appearance. Seeing those little previews into their life was such a treat.

Forbidden or was it...

Amir had his sights on Monroe when he first laid eyes om her at Thanksgiving dinner when she came as his uncle date. Years later they see each other again, and they both are single and very ready to mingle. Being together for awhile, Amir wanted more, but Monroe was hesitant and when she heard the reason for Amir inviting her to family dinner she walked away, until he told her how he really felt. This was a great short read! Amir and Monroe were so cute together and good for each other. I really want to know what's up with them!

all in the thanks

No thank you, hell nah, nope, unh unh - anyway you say it, it’s a no for me dog. This is what Monroe was saying to Amir when he asked her to his families Thanksgiving Dinner. Because of a past situation Monroe was not feeling it and Amir hadn’t exactly shown that she was more the a FWB.
Amir needed to come right or get left with his request and get on with his adjacent Patti Pie!
Thanks turned around for sure by the end.
I really enjoyed this book!

This was cute!

The whole story was just cute! It was like a glimpse at their life and I would love a whole story of Monroe and Amir cause they just fit to me. Like he really liked her for a while and was working to make her his for real and I loved that. I like how they ended their little “reward” contest or whatever too since it was kind of shallow. But I loved this relationship and it was just cute without the drama and doing too much!

How do you convince you uncle's ex-girlfriend to go to Thanksgiving dinner with you as your date? That is the task Amir has with Monroe. He has fallen for her and has changed his ways to show her that their relationship is more than FWB.

Ms Warren has written another excellent book. She never disappoints.

Short and sweet 😍

This was a quick read. I enjoyed reading about Amir and Monroe. Kind of a sticky situation. Well written and it was nice to see how the situation was handled by the family. Looking forward to meeting the rest of the Fiennes family. As always it's a pleasure reading your books 🥰.
