Imagine...

Feeling Calm And Present With Your Kids
Taking Time For Yourself Without The Guilt
Easily Finding Time To Do Things That Make You Happy

As a homeschooling mom of three I know first-hand how overwhelming mom life can be. After the birth of my first child, the reality of motherhood began to sink in.

I absolutely loved being a mom, but at the same time was exhausted, overwhelmed, and felt like I was failing. As our family grew, life became more chaotic. I knew there had to be a better way.

I realized prioritizing my needs and tuning into my intuition was allowing me to find calm in the chaos of motherhood and feel like a more confident mom.

Over time I found simple ways to bring self care into my busy days. I felt nourished, cared for, and loved and in turn, was better able to nourish care for, and love my family. There is more laughter and love in our home now than I could have ever imagined possible.

I believe you can feel calm and find your unshakable confidence as a mom when you first care for yourself!

As a life coach for moms and yoga and meditation teacher, I would be honored to help you finally get out of survival mode so you can be the mom you’ve always dreamed of being!

Reclaiming Your Inner Sparkle is a book that every new mom needs, and every mom wishes they read early on in parenting. Catherine shares her personal journey as a mom along with challenges and the gifts. Giving the reader an inside to her life. It teaches you how to take care of yourself with prompts and practices sprinkled throughout to help you get your sparkle back.

Being a mother is a joyous role, but it can be quite challenging at times. Catherine helps you realize you are not alone in how you feel, and there are ways to cope with obstacles that come your way.

After reading this book, I felt empowered! I can be the best version of myself as a mother and partner. I will better communicate my needs with my family and find time for self-care. This is an amazing book that all mothers should read!

fun and sparkly

A fun and inspiring read. Nothing bad here. But nothing fantastic either. Pretty much like all the other books on this topic. That being said, it’s still worth reading if you don’t read in this subject very often. I like the part about taking time out for yourself to prevent burn out as a mother especially. That sounded like a nice message for Mom‘s to hear. I also liked the authors use of personal example to reinforce the concepts she was conveying about self-care. The examples of how we put ourselves last, but then see the need to do something for ourselves, that was well done. If you don’t take care of yourself you’re not going to be able to nurture your child or even function well in your day-to-day life, and this is something I’ve fallen victim to many times as a mother. Being a hard-working single African-American mother is a lot and if it weren’t for self-care, which I’m not always great about, I wouldn’t be a good parent. I also like that the author is very honest about the challenges that lie ahead for all the readers and I respect that.

If you're feeling like you've been giving motherhood your all, and you feel like you're failing or you've lost yourself along the way, this is the book for you. Catherine is so relatable and not afraid to admit that motherhood is hard. Her book is here to tell you that you matter, too. It teaches you how to take care of yourself with prompts and practices sprinkled throughout to help you get your sparkle back. Definitely buy this book in physical form so you can open it randomly to a sparkle prompt and get the uplifting self-care support you deserve. Also included is a bonus gift link to guided meditations, yoga practices, playlists, and more to help you be more self-compassionate and get out of survival mode. As a mother of a spirited and challenging child, this is the parenting book I wish I had had years ago.

While I enjoy working out and yoga is one type of exercise I enjoy doing. I’m not big on the actual mindset of yoga. I do understand speaking kind words to yourself but I thought this book was going to attack more about overcoming mom guilt when in fact it’s more about yoga practices for it. If you are into the yoga lifestyle then you might like this book it just wasn’t for me.
