Pure Temptation
She thinks I’m a rule follower. Or, maybe more precisely, a rule enforcer. I suppose I do like things by the book. Straight-laced? Sure. Or I had been before I saw the pink-haired beauty tending bar and realized for her I’d break all the rules.
She quickly becomes my obsession, and I admit I may take my interest in her a little far. Breaking the same laws I’d enforced on others. But I only watch her to keep her safe, to keep her close, and to make sure no one tries to take what’s mine.

Pure Temptation is book 3 in the Priceless series.
This is the story of our MCs Addilyn and Kane. Addilyn works at the Ravens MC club / bar while taking care of her younger brother Carter; whom she has custody of. Kane is a police officer. Kane is a fairly type "a" personality, while Addilyn is not.
For Kane, it was pretty much love at first sight. What I loved about him is that he gave Addilyn space and allowed her to "adjust" to him wanting to be involved rather than going 0 to 100. He gave her the proper time and space. And Addilyn didn't fight him either, which was great.
There was some drama involved when Carter gets involved with some bad guys / makes some mistakes. Kane helps there.
There were also some fun spicy scenes, which is very important in thees books, haha.

H and h seemed to be opposite but attracted to each other. h had to raise her brother after her dad died, that's why she needed to pretend to be strong. H understood this, so he patiently waited months for her to get used to him. Liked how they interact.

Addilyn and Kane are super cute. Kane is former military, and a police officer, he’s very by the book and never thought he would be the guy who would break any rules for a woman. But all bets are off when it comes to his Addilyn. She’s young but has been a responsible adult for a long time, she has custody of her teenage brother, Carter and works two jobs to make ends meet. Her evening and weekend job is at the Raven MC club, she’s the head bartender. Kane sees her for the first time and is in love, but he gives her time to get use to him being around. She mistakes his concern for brotherly feelings, he’s Ollie’s brother, but he graduates from watching to hovering close by, to finally touching her. It’s cute how he works his way into her life. I liked how she didn’t fight it, she was scared of what their future held but was determined to enjoy it while it lasted. Their first time together was hot and sexy. A little drama when Carter gets involved with some bad guys. Kane uses his connections and authority as a police officer to help him. Things are going well but one of the bad guys find out Carter snitched on them and he holds him at gun point, Addilyn shows up and almost gets shot, Kane is there to protect her and kills the bad guy. She finds out she’s pregnant and he tells her they are getting married. Epilogue years later with her graduating college and a daughter, she is expecting her second baby soon. Liked all the characters, loved her Nick name for Kane, Captain as in Captain America. Loved the cover, it matched the description of the heroine, adorable with fun pink hair.

Whenever a Lucy darling book drops, I drop everything and jump on it. I know it’s gonna give me all the swoon and this one didn’t fail.
I loved this one. Good guy, straight arrow hero who always follows the rules breaks all of them for his girl. Stalking? Check! Getting her fired from her crappy job so she can work with you? Double check!
But it’s exactly what the heroine needs. After an unstable childhood and being responsible for her brother, Kane’s obsessive devotion and his need to take care of her is the best way to push down her walls and give her what’s she’s been craving for years: someone to look out for and care for her.

Ollie's big brother finally makes his move on Pink.

A fast feel good romance read that has it all!
Engaging characters ✅ off the chart’s chemistry ✅ a story that’s engaging ✅ no cheating ✅ guaranteed happily ever after ✅
Lucy is an automatic one click for me, I know going in she’s going to give me a story that’s full of characters that I’ll instantly feel comfortable with and fall in love with.
Minimal drama, she puts enough in to keep a reader engaged, never making it so over the top your rolling your eyes. I want that, no I need that as a reader. Her make leads are alway strong and in charge but she does it in a way that you can’t help but sigh and wonder why they can’t be real.
It’s always yes from me.

Oh how I love this series and these J/P alpha men😍😍 Kane is a police officer/ works in his father's bail bonds office and as soon as he sees the sweet and independent Pink(Addilyn) everything changes for him.😉 He is instantly obsessed with his woman and watches over her until he can claim her ☺️☺️ Sweet,steamy, romantic, safe with action and banter and with a sweet HEA at the end😍😍😍 Can't wait for the last Hart brother to get his woman and his HEA😃😃

He's a cop, which seems at odds with the MC lifestyle, but with his bounty hunter family and MC connections, it might not be as big of a stretch as one might think. She's a bit of a free spirit but with the added burden of taking care of her teenage brother. Kane is willing to show her that he can be the person she needs and deserves.
Commentary: First, beautiful cover - this author does covers well!
I liked the way that Kane was determined to take care of her, even if that meant also taking care of her brother (which of course led to his own brother finding his girl in the next book). He even managed to get her a job at his family's office (despite his underhanded methods, he meant well - not in real life, but it's okay here, in the fiction world). Addilyn was described adorably - I have a fondness for pink hair!

Hot! This was a very hot book. Kane and Addilyn (Pink) are amazing together. I loved the teasing that Addilyn are perfect for each other. Addilyn unknowingly makes Kane want to break every rule and law he knows just to be with her. This is a very fast paced book with lots of steam, swoon worthy moments, some suspense love, comedy, love and a wonderful HEA. I can't wait for Ben's book! I would recommend this book, this series, and Ms. Lucy as a fantastic author.

A lot of times writer just repeat over and over again that their heroine is “kind and selfless” and in novella’s it’s really hard to make that come through. From the interactions with her brother, her friends, and, ultimately, Kane, Addilyn was genuinely kind and selfless.
Due to her rough history, and her working in a biker bar, she had to have a bit of a backbone but Addilyn was a ray of sunshine, as Kane said, “from the top of her pink head to her rainbow-painted toenails”. Always complimenting and thinking about other’s and often neglecting herself for other’s
I wanted good things for these two. Kane’s possessiveness felt genuine due to his structured and law-abiding life. He was a natural-born protector who took careful steps as to not spook or overwhelm Addilyn. He was protective of his family and even extending that to Addilyn’s younger brother.
Addilyn needed someone to put her needs first and Kane needed someone to look after, not just protect. Maybe even protect him a little bit, even if it’s just his heart.
These characters were archetypal in a sense, but they had distinguishable personalities and that made for an earnest romance I was genuinely rooting for. Pacing was great even if it jumped into the future a few times, it made it feel like this was a love that was growing and gave background to the missed periods of time.
Really cute story and probably going to dip my toes into a bit more of the series.

Volvi a caer en los libros de esta señora y aunque este no estuvo tan terrible como el anterior, definitivamente no me termina d convencer.
Este es el tercer libro que leo de la autora y he llegado a concluir que ella escribe la misma historia pero con diferentes personajes!? Osea, estos tres libros tienen los mismos elementos, personajes masculinos tóxicos, personajes femeninas sin personalidad y que están de acuerdo con todo lo que el chico les dice, sin cuestionar nada.
Plots que aparentemente se desarrollan por todo el libro, pero que se hacen importantes y visibles en los dos últimos capítulos y se arreglan de la forma más sin gracia que existe, sin crear drama.
Y que diantres tienen los hombres en estos libros con dejar a las maes embarazadas sin ningún tipo de consentimiento de parte de ellas y entre más rápido mejor, aunque esa forma no sea sexo con penetración... sinceramente es un poco perturbador leer esos capítulos en específico.
Ahora sí estos libros tienen tantos problemas porque los leí? Sinceramente, creo que fue porque pensé que iba a estar mejor y por curiosidad con un personaje, además como son libros cortos eso los hace muy rápidos de leer.
Pero definitivamente estos no son libros para todo tipo de personas y creo que si los lees debes de tener en cuenta que sus personajes y situaciones pueden ser algo problemáticas.

Communication is very important.
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although it does touch on both drugs and human trafficking. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Carter was trying to figure out how to help contribute to paying bills. Kane had been fascinated with Addilyn from the moment that he saw her. Addilyn was drawn to Kane but thought that he didn’t like her. When Kane made his move, Addilyn was surprised but thrilled. She wanted whatever she could get from Kane, even if he brought heartbreak. I liked how Kane treated Addilyn. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Por fin, pude leer la historia de Kane y Addilyn, ambos son muy tiernos, Kane está completamente obsesionado con ella, pero se tomó su tiempo para conquistarla, para darle tiempo a que se acostumbre a él.
Es una linda historia, sin gran trama, pero que entretiene, y te deja queriendo leer la siguiente historia, que es la de Ben, aparecen Ollie, Jason, Archer y Vee que te siguen conquistando con los dulces que son.

Priceless book 3. A total fanfreakingtasic read. Kane and Addilyn story will have you smiling from ear to ear, fanning yourself and doing a happy dance. Addilyn doesn't take ish from anybody and Kane is a total alpha. But things change when these two get together. Now add in a wayward teen and some bad guys. Full of drama, angst, hope and smexiness. It's great to see some characters from previous books. This book flowed like a movie.

It was a great read. Addilyn was attracted to Kane but kept his distance so she assumed he wasn't interested. When Kane made his move she was surprised but determined to risk her heart to be with him. She didn't have to worry, though. Kane was in for the long haul and he made sure to show her he wasn't going anywhere. Great plot, likeable characters and red hot romance. Highly recommended.

Great storyline. Probably the best in this series so far, allthough all the lead chatacters are well written. It is great that each of the main characters in this series have their own layers and it does not get boring at all. Read this in one breath. Looking forwards to Ben's story.

This was great. Kane was obsessed with watching Pink but afraid if he made his move too son he would scare her off. Addilyn (Pink) was always looking for the the other shoe to drop. So much had been taken from her brother and herself she almost couldn’t believe a guy like Kane really wanted her. Truly a great love story.

Sweet and super spicey!
This was the perfect little read. Pink is a sweet innocent kind hearted heroine and Kane is a super huge and hunky possessive alpha male. These two are Fire between the pages!

It's Addilyn and Kane's turn!!
When Kane saw the little pink haired pixie named Addilyn, he knew it was only a matter of time before he gave into the Pure Temptation of her. Addilyn kept thinking she wasn't good enough for Kane, but he will do everything in his power to prove to her that she is his and he is hers.

This is the third book in the Priceless series and I just soaked it up in one sitting! I loved Addilyn’s fiery spirt along with Kane’s quiet reserve. Unless it comes to her. Then watch out. His caveman side comes out full force. But who wouldn’t want that from him. It was sexy, and sweet, and at times dangerous. And I loved their story. Can’t wait to read Ben’s next

Kane knew Addilyn was his, he just needed to let himself act on it. She's younger and he is too good of a guy to let himself act on the feelings he is having. But him looking out for her gets to be too much of a temptation and both of their dreams come true.

Addilyn and Kane were so freaking perfect for one another!!! I don’t know how Lucy Darling does it but she delivers a perfect book every time ❤️ I highly recommend if sweet, over the top, gooey, HEA’s are your thing 😘
Addilyn and Kane were so freaking perfect for one another!!! I don’t know how Lucy Darling does it but she delivers a perfect book every time ❤️ I highly recommend if sweet, over the top, gooey, HEA’s are your thing 😘
