I love the friends to lover troupe.....Kysre & Rich basically grew up together and hung out in a group as high schoolers.....Eventually, growing up going their separate ways....Rich returns to town for Thanksgiving and runs into Kysre and her sister Kahleah.....sparks fly again and after another year and a sneaky set up or two...the couple finally connect....Really cute story with a bit of N. Falls humor.

Kysre x Richard

Sneaky, sneaky were the parents. I loved this. All it took was one kiss the previous Thanksgiving to set this in motion. Ky and Rich had been friends since they were kids, the feelings were always there. But after meddling parents and grandparents, this really started to fall in place...right at Thanksgiving.

Childhood friends to more?

This story gives us insight on how Rich ended up with Kysre, their longtime family friend, at Thanksgiving. Kysre had a thing for Rich for what seemed like forever, but it seemed as if Rich was not checking for her like that. A blow up at last Thanksgiving unexpectedly led them together, but neither seemed ready for the smoke at that time.
Now with the help of some sweet tricky Grandmothers they find themselves with a second chance. The chemistry was definitely there once they got out of their own way.
The story ended abruptly for me. I know it's a short but I have all types of questions especially with them living in different states. Cute story, but needed more development for the couple.

Short, sweet, and quick. Perfect for Thanksgiving. I’m glad that Ky & Rich got together and I hope that we get another book on how their relationship flourishes. My favorite part was when Ky grandma told her to go get her man!

Just like book one this was absolutely cute and a continuation of the Thanksgiving night with all the shenanigans. Childhood romance becoming an adult reality is a holiday to be thankful that keeps on giving.

A Nicole Falls novella hasn’t let me down yet! Friends to strangers to lovers, mutual pining with a meddling grandma and mama. Sign me up! This pre-thanksgiving I’m thankful for Nicole Falls serving up a holiday romance that delivers.

I just wasn’t impressed honestly. Although a short story it was missing something. I took forever reading this. Almost didn’t want to finish. But I like the childhood friends to lovers tho.

Better the Second Time

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the previous installment. The storyline felt forced to me. The chemistry between Rich and Kyser was very blah. It felt like they should’ve stayed friends with no benefits.

Update

I liked it better this time. I bumped it up from three stars to four stars. I think the issue is that I didn’t like Kyser. But their story was cool.

Great assist...

I am loving this novella series that these three dynamic authors decided to write. It's ironic how life throws you an alley hoop because Rich's ex assisted him to Kysre. His ex and her finicky ways pushed him to finally talk to Kysre which lead to them getting to know each other more. It was also a coincidence that Kysre and Rich both had a thing for each other as teenagers. I think that between the bruhzzins the "ISYN" competition is running a close race with Kysre showing up for dinner. I can't imagine who Nico will show up with at dinner. I am pretty sure the ladies of the family will share their commentary.

This is a series sharing the season of giving. The three bruhzzins are trying to win their uncle's game but in turn, are winning in their personal lives. I feel like this is going to be the Thanksgiving that changes all three of their lives. So get into it, you will not be disappointed. If you have never indulged in an Alexandra Warren, Nicole Falls, or Christina C. Jones masterpiece I highly recommend you do.

The Matchmaker

GramCracker aka The Matchmaker in full affect🤭‼️ “Thank you, Next”: A Fiennes Family Novelette (The Fiennes Family) was an okay reread. …However, this novella was Not as interesting as “No, Thank you” book one. Nonetheless, cuffed for Thanksgiving dinner (and beyond) was clearly the objective of the golden gals🤷🏾‍♀️(no shame in their collaborative game 🤭). Thereafter, there’s a chemistry between RJ & KY, however there is no relationship history between them other than desire and innuendoes. …They’re a maybe??? …Meanwhile, the willful objectification via the annual juvenile competition among the three cousins and spearheaded by Uncle Rico suave is just offensive🥴‼️

thank you ex is more like it

Good job Jas on walking out his life and taking your drama with you! Her quick exit made way for the next thing, and it was the best thing.
After dealing with Jas Pretty Ricky needed to step into grown man Rich and get back in the day KyKy to step into grown woman Kryse so they can handle their unspoken attraction and elevate their childhood crush to the next level.
What a difference a whole year and another thanksgiving makes!
This was a great read!

I liked the writing, but the pacing for this novella was off. The two MCs spent a third of this novella not on page together, which made it hard for me to sense their connection and believe in such a fast romance.

The setup for this series does gross me out, with three brothers competing to bring the hottest woman home for Thanksgiving for their uncle to judge. Mostly, that doesn't play much of a role in the actual plot or romance but any time it is mentioned, I feel nauseous and lose respect for our heroes or the men in their family.

“I couldn’t tell you what it was about Ricky that made him it for me, but I was a smitten kitten from day one…”

And I wish we could’ve seen that smitten-ness. Kysre spent majority of the novella acting like Rich was just toying with her and she wasn’t as in to him as he was professing to be. And then by the end she still doesn’t outright say it unconnected to their physical intimacy. This book would’ve been much better as a full length novel because their story deserved to be fully explored given how good the premise was

Super Cute novella

This was a cute second chance/missed opportunity love story. My reason for giving 4 stars is probably petty, but it took way too long to introduce dialogue which told us how to pronounce the FMC’s name. It bothered me not knowing how to read it so I actually googled the name before I got to the scene where it’s mentioned.

Like I said, super cute, quick love story! I’ll definitely be reading more of Nicole Falls’ books!

Thank You, Next is a standalone novelette that is part of the Fiennes family interconnected series by 3 authors. All short, sexy and sweet.

This one was Kysre and Rich's story. Childhood friends to lovers/second chance romance that gave us a taste of them from the previous year and how Rich did what he could to finagle his way into his friend's heart for this Thanksgiving. Gotta love when friends come together with a little bit of their families help and light up each other's lives. This series was short and fun and just what I needed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Cute Short

I liked the potential of this short but it was half baked. My rating should actually be 3.5 but I rounded up.

There were insinuations about the past as related to Rich and Ky but nothing ever yielded details also bothersome the unnecessary details and mentions of the cousins and their dates only to be left unaddressed.

And finally the ending, it could have been tied up a little better. The loose ends were bothersome!!

Rich & Kysre story…I need more of their story! Rich and Ky grew up as childhood friends, both secretly harboring feelings for each other though neither of them knew it. When they cross paths again, a spontaneous kiss changes everything… yet nothing truly happens between them until a year later when Mom and Grandma decide to step in and play matchmaker.
I really want more from this couple. I need to know if they finally went all in!

Rich and Kysre

First off, love the FMC name. 💕 but this was a childhood dream kind of romance. They'd been feeling each other since kids but as adults they're afraid to ruin a longstanding family friendship. Rich definitely caught up in the Fiennes Thanksgiving tradition, as was Amir, but he seems to have a bit more sense in how to conduct himself, lol. The spice is 4/5. Cute quick read for the holiday season. 🧡🍂🍁

Nicole Falls really slid with this one. What happens when “the season of giving” turns into “the season of losing”? Apparently… blessings slide right in through the cracks.

Ricky Pretty Ricky Ricky Ricky himself finally got exactly who he’d been wanting and honestly it was overdue. Who would’ve thought an overhead breakup and one unexpected kiss would become the moment that shifted everything? But that’s the magic of this story sometimes the smallest spark is all it takes for fate to circle back around.

Kysre deserves all her smiles and soft moments because Mr. Fine Ass came ready, intentional and grown. He was not letting her dodge the conversation or ignore their connection! Their friends to lovers transition felt natural, sweet and just the right amount of spicy. It’s the kind of second chance that reminds you the universe really be spinning the block with your blessings.

Short, cute and satisfying. A perfect little holiday romance snack.

Omg I freaking LOVE this and I NEVER like the friends to lovers trope! Wow!! I’m amazed at how much we really get to know the characters and how much I was rooting for this couple even though it was a short novella! I wanted more, I NEED more!! Ugh this was so relatable and gave me all the thanksgiving cozy feels!!!❤️

short , sweet and cute

Loved Ky and Rich after encountering them in the first book of this series, I was curious. Reading their back story in this book and discovering how Ky ended up having Thanksgiving dinner with Rich and his family was really cute. I hope that their story will be continued in the near future.
Lovin those Finnes bruzxins ❤️😂

Kyrse and Rich have been attracted to one another, but didn't act on it…until the holidays roll around.

I love how others stepped in to insure the pickup. Obviously, they felt that it was time for these two to come together.

I absolutely loved this cute little 💎💎💎💎novella by @_nicolefalls and I highly recommend it. The Fiennes are an interesting family, indeed.

Finally...

Rich and Kysre grew up together and they both always had a crush on each other. One Thanksgiving after a breakup and a kiss, Rich and Kysre feelings grew more. The following Thanksgiving, it was an airport pickup and an all nighter of them BIWO, that they decided to give them a try!! This story was funny and sweet and im glad they finally got each other!!!
