So Obvious: A story about a risk-taking wife and a voyeur husband

Rate this book
I caught my wife in the throes of passion with her artist boyfriend. But I didn’t rage with anger. I hid and I watched.

Thea is a 31-year-old PR director with the city. Brode is the mid-40s locally-famous artist she recently purchased eight paintings from for visiting dignitaries. Getting to visit his studio was a special treat for her.

Creeping through his forest and peeking through his window when her tan high-waist pencil skirt, crop-cut sweater, and business-shirt white blouse hit the work bench, was a special treat for me.

Why would a self-respecting and intelligent man let his wife carry on like that with a secret lover? And why, for that matter, would a perfectly happy and conservative woman risk everything?

What verified purchasers have said about Dylan Chase’s

— These stories are like a gut punch.— A painful-to-watch descent into a kind of voyeuristic madness.— Defies imagination until you consider that MC is wired way differently than any normal man. Even differently than 90% of abnormal men!— Way, way too extreme and unbelievable.— Unbelievably over-the-top evil and conniving sociopaths.— Totally, absolutely, and irretrievably betray, debase and destroy a character in the worst way possible.— Beautiful young wife plays her husband for a ball-less idiot.— She’s selfish, she’s helpless and powerless, she’s cheating, and she’s loving every moment of it . . . a nasty, rotten, bad wife, and I’m in love with her.— I liked how the wife used subtle manipulation, deceit, and even logic on her poor hubby to keep up the thinly-veiled charade of her passionate affair.— Does not have a happy ending.— A prime example of a hotwife story without a happy ending.— The sex is hot, but the ending is kind of a bummer...realistic...but a bummer.— The perfect parameters to create the cuckold storm.— I often enjoy a story that doesn’t always have to end happily.— Sometimes you play with fire and you get burned.— Chase writes this kind of story a wife who cuckolds her husband, going further and further until there’s nothing left to take from him.— A very worthwhile dark romance— Well written but the man is a punk.— A dark roller-coaster of infidelity through the hubby's eyes as he goes from oblivious to suspicious to downright aroused at the blatant activity going on right in his face.— I can’t praise this stylish offering highly enough. I wish I could give it six stars.
