Are you interested in football players? Then this is the book for you. In the book, "David Beckham Soccer's Football Star", written by Tom Robinson it talks about his life. This sound quiet normal, but in this book it shows how is dislikes or surroundings and likes in his childhood affected his futuristic playing. For example, he was very skilled and dedicated (serious). Also his dad was a football coach and always wanted to become a famous player so with his experience he taught David all his skill which later showed up when he became famous. If you want to know more about David Beckham his father and his dislikes/ likes in his childhood you'll have to read the book.

In this book Tom Robinson goes over the twist and turns of David Beckham's soccer career. Sometimes going into depth on Beckham's reasoning for the career choices he made. I enjoyed the authors description on the impact on soccer in America when Beckham decided to join the mls team L.A. Galaxy. I personally felt as if the book was written for those uneducated on soccer in general as chunks of the book were spent describing terms maybe foreign to those unfamilar with soccer terms. If you are someone who has no idea about David Beckham and wish to know this may be the book for you but as someone who already knew about his career I did not find myself getting much out of it
