George Pérez
George Pérez
American comic book artist and writer. This review of mine is equal parts about the book about the man himself and an obituary. Perez passed away into the ages last month - May 6, 2022 at 68 from pancreatic cancer, a disease that has claimed some prominent personalities in recent times from Patrick Swayze, Alan Rickman, Luciano Pavarotti or more recently Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor
And also Steve Jobs

Back to the book which is a retrospective of George Perez's 30 year career penned by . George was an extremely talented creator from Marvel’s Avengers, D.C.’s Teen Titans to Crisis On Infinite Earths.
His contribution to comic book history is huge.
Christopher Lawrence helms this book dedicated to George's prized art.
Recommend this book to all comic book lovers and fans of the legend.

A great recap of a great career

By now, comic fans know George Perez is dying. That's what makes this book more important than ever. Anyone whose ever cracked a comic should know a few artists names; curt swan, Jack Kirby, gil Kane, Jim Lee and George Perez, to name a few. George exploded on the scene and, once seen, his artwork can never buy forgotten. Read this.
