Wedding bells are ringing… Or is it a death knell? Rosemary Grey, professor of history at Paperwick University, and amateur sleuth, has never been busier. She and her best friend Jack Stone are hosting an exhibit on campus, Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and on Saturday, Rosemary is marrying the love of her life, Seth Maguire. A monkey-wrench is thrown into the works however, in the form of a long-lost uncle, a long-guarded secret, a robbery, and a murder. Rosemary and her friends will quite an adventure as they work together to solve the mystery before it’s time to say I do. Come spend the holidays in Paperwick, Connecticut, and be sure to enjoy the recipes and keepsakes included at the end of the book!
Once again this author left me wanting more! I love the characters who are a mix of small town residents and college professors. The professors love their subjects but also have a penchant for solving crimes. The book is well written with an interesting storyline and a mystery that keeps you guessing until the very end.
Wedding bells are set to ring for Rosemary and Set but first they have a killer to catch before they say I do.
I fell in love with this series beginning with book #1. Original, well written books with great characters & a beautiful setting. In this book, Rosemary & Seth will be getting married and her book with Jack will be launched. As anyone who has read this series knows, all will not go smoothly. Lots going on in this one before the happy couple makes it down the aisle. I highly recommend this book and series. I hope there will be many more.
Thanksgiving festivities are in the air as well as wedding plans for Rosemary and Seth. An unexpected visit from her uncle throws a wrench in the plans when he is accused of murder.
Rosemary must figure out the killer to save the holiday meal and wedding or will there be another victim.
Another quick paced storyline with yummy recipes included.
I loved all 4 books in this series, and there will be more. The group of main characters, which continues to grow as the story goes, are unique and delightful. The first book started out slow , but I kept with it, and so glad I did. Do yourself a favor, and read all 4.
I really love this series of books and this particular one was no exception. I love the characters as this author really brings them to life. I never guessed the culprit until just about 2 pages prior to the reveal. Good writing, a fun theme, and an excellent setting. Could not ask for a better read!
I'm not only reading for enjoyment, I'm learning about the history of our country and I just love it. The characters are fun and funny, too. Thank you for this series, I hope there will be more.
Once again I'm enthralled by a book in this series. The characters are quirky and likable, the setting is divine. I enjoy the history in each book and as I've said before, I love "smart" cozies.
Tracy Donley is an extraordinarily talented storyteller. I love that she bases her books on historical facts, such as the lockets in this book, and that she includes recipes for foodstuffs that her characters consume. Delightful series all around!
I enjoyed reading all the books of this series. Great stories that kept me interested. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys good clean writing.
Love this series. Gets better with each book. Love the setting and the characters are great. Story is well written and keeps you drawn in and there is a little history lesson to.
