Rate this book
The Juggernaut is without question the finest deep space exploration ship in the Terran League Navy; commanded by the ever popular Captain Miskel Nicoda and manned by a crew of Terrans, Ubahqians and androids that are more like a family than just crew mates. Yet when one of the new marines brings a deadly virus aboard the Juggernaut, it throws the entire crew into a blood drenched battle for survival as the infected are reduced to their basest level, sending a tsunami of death through the gargantuan vessel that few will survive.

I really wanted to like this one more! I’d built it up in my mind, but was unfortunately not into it at all when I actually got this book.

It’s a great premise, but overly long; lots of parts just seem to be fillers and not at all vital to the story. Example: there’s an emergency in engineering, and instead of calling the medical bay asap, multiple characters flounder around giving useless info, smiling at each other, and arguing about the number to count to when lifting someone together.

There are also so many characters introduced, too many to keep track of or care about. I just really wanted to finish this story as I didn’t really care anymore about what happens to the ship.

I am generally not a huge fan of space/horror. However, I am a fan of the author of this story. So I delved into this book, hoping for the best. And that's exactly what I got!
There are countless parts of this book that will have you biting your nails to see what happens next. The book itself is a fairly hefty, almost 500 pages. But it doesn't feel like that at all! I have my fingers crossed that the author will expand on the universe he created for this story. I'd highly recommend "Juggernaut" !

Absolutely outstanding sci-fi horror novel , this book is a violent twisted romp through the depths of space and is my favourite sci fi book ( I’m not really into sci-fi but this got me)

Read...absorb...enjoy
Here I am, reading one of my favourite scenarios, horror in space and couldn't be happier. I took breaks reading this, because it is a bit on the long side, but also I just wanted to savour it. Interesting characters, a great setting and a horror that is...well, horrible. Relentless and gruesome. The only problem I had is that I am terrible with names, (getting old) especially with unusual names that I am not familiar with, and with a lot of characters in the story, I had a hard time keeping track at times. I really enjoyed this one and will be reading more of this author for sure.
