[ This book contains r18 content.]Eighteen-year-old Trinity is unlike any other werewolf in her pack. For one, there were unusual circumstances surrounding her birth, for another, she is the only pack member to never shift into a wolf form. So now she doesn't quite belong anywhere. Not quite human and not quite a wolf.
She thought she would be able to live her life how she wanted when she had turned eighteen. Go to college, make some friends, have some fun. But what is she to do when the dangerously sexy Alpha literally falls right into her lap?
"I am not human, and I am not a wolf. I don't belong anywhere..."
"...we both know that no one is going to mate with me, and even if they did, they would just reject me anyway."
What is the sexy, brooding Alpha going to do? The elders are making him hold these ridiculous parties to search for a mate. He doesn't want a mate, but he knows he needs a mate to finish the Alpha Circle. Without a mate, a Luna for the pack, his people would suffer. And what is he going to do when he stumbles across the girl that fate has chosen for him and he finds out she has no wolf?
"This cannot be!" I roared. "There is no way that I can mate with a girl that does not even have a wolf. She will be too weak. She will be inferior. She will not be strong enough to be a Luna."
"I simply could not accept her as my mate. Not fully. It wasn't safe for her. She would get herself killed. And she would bring my pack down with her."
When these two meet, sparks will surely fly. But will it be from passion or their constant fighting? Neither of them wanted a mate. Neither of them wants the mate that fate chose for them. And neither of them can make that mate bond go away. What are they going to do now that they're literally stuck with each other?
So i kinda got sucked in and frankly this is bordering craptastic, For some reason however I did quite like the story telling,it’s actually well done. And while several twists are a bit cliche it kept my attention for loads of chapters. So based on this I would give this 3 stars
The writing style is nothing to write home about but it’s not terrible The world building is similar it’s your run of the mill Urban Fantasy/ Paranormal world. But it’s good enough.
The character building seems better for the support cast The two MC are a bit too melodramatic and cliche And based on that I would give it 2 Stars
So while this is somewhere between ok and good… so 2,5 Stars I rounded it up. Because I enjoyed this installment
I got the first instalment on Amazon, but I am aware that one can purchase chapters on reading apps as well If a decent editor would have a go at this series, it could become a good or even great series. I am not sure if I will read another at this point.
* goes to check how many more instalments*.
19?!!! Books according to Amazon. Lıke whaaaaat? Yeah. I can tell you I won’t read NINETEEN more book about these two characters
So my last commentary: Honestly, I think the author has potential with her storytelling skills. She should invest in a good editor and republish this with a better name. If we are talking 3 or at most 4 novels about Trinity and Reece I would buy and read them. I am not prepared to spend the time or the money on the current novels
I don’t usually like werewolf books to begin with, and I was even more skeptical after realizing it was a WebNovel and reading some of the negative reviews.
Someone commented that the grammar was terrible, but that’s not true. I’m a bit of a stickler for grammar, and there were few spots that were noticeable, no more than a traditional novel.
The main character is a ton of fun, and the dual POV gave insight into the alpha that kept him from being just another asshole. In the beginning, he was more rude by omission that actually being mean, but he definitely became the stereotypical alpha later in the story in terms of being a grade A ass (for his own twisted reasons, not blatant sexism). That said, I’m still VERY interested in reading the next book and getting to see his eventual redemption. He’s a great person, just a terrible mate…for now.
Despite the vague mention of 18+ content in the description, there is nothing explicit or spicy in book one.
The ending was a little abrupt and leaves the story feeling unfinished, but there’s apparently 30 books in the series, so it ended well enough. On to book two…
I enjoyed the first book. I was following this a chapter at a time on a book service. It just started getting interminable and I didn't wish to continue....how many different amazing things can she be? Too much.
I have mixed comments about this series, so please bear with me... Pros: The story was imaginative and engaging. I read 9 of the 40 books even after the original story line was completed. Most of the characters had a depth of feeling that was relatable, which I greatly enjoyed. The story line had a lot of originality, which is often difficult to find in books written by unknown authors. Cons: I have 3 MAJOR issues with these books, and several minor ones... First, the repetition of simple words... 'so' 'very 'amazing' even the word 'slowly' being used multiple times in a single sentence. This is a pet peeve of mine as I believe someone calling themselves a writer should have a larger vocabulary and know how to use it. Second, the different points of view from one character to another. I am aware of what this author was trying to do, but when both characters are going to repeat, verbatim, what the former character had just said and done, perhaps it is time to switch to third person writing so both points of view could be seen at the same time. To me, this screams of filler content that simply adds pages to a book with no true purpose. Third, 40 books... FORTY... that could have easily been 4. Now, if this author would put all of this series on Kindle Unlimited, where she would be paid for each page that is read, I would happily read all 40 books. But I am not paying $175 for ANY series of books, and certainly not from a subpar writer. This smacks of a money grab to me, and as it was, I paid nearly $55 for the 9 books I read. Enough is enough. As for some minor Cons.. The books 'end' at the end of a chapter that really have no ending at all. The first 5 or so books are just one long book that finally ends with a couple of epilogs. HOWEVER.. once the epilogs are done, before that book ends, the side stories of other characters begins. This means you either stop reading before the end of a book you have paid for, or you are roped in to buying yet another book to continue with the side story. Personally, I read 2 of the side stories (another 3 or 4 books) before I chose not to start the third one. Please understand, these side stories are interesting, and again, if on kindle unlimited I would read the final 31 books, but I will not pay for them individually. Ok, that's my review. Do with it what you will.
The story is there but the editing is very 9th grade grammar. The story will grab you and some of the scenes make you feel what you need to feel. However. The idea that there are 20+ "books" but they are basically chapters is not ok. I would love to buy as a full book. Or even 3 books. But I'm not going to pay for chapters.
I kept getting Tik Tok ads with snippets of this story and I was sucked in. Unfortunately the way it's written drags on without adding to the story at all. Most of the POVs are beat for beat like the one you just read. The base of the story is really cool, but for me wading through the monotonous details and awkward dialogue isn't worth reading the rest of the "books".
Book just ends. We don’t get a conclusion to any events — it just ends. Feels like a way to just get more money since it’s also on one of those serialized apps.
Such an amazing story I really loved it the story is so well written and it's not too much drama or romance or violence just perfect the lack of this doesn't make the story boring either it's really well balanced
The book was okay, the story not spectacular but easy to read, and then it just ended. There are 29 installments & the synopsis is the same for all of them so who knows if you’d just be buying the same story over & over again.
The only complaint I have is when they write each persons pov, they often just write exactly what they wrote before, instead of writing anything different. That’s boring and like a big rerun. Readers don’t like that kind of stuff. The story line is kinda good tho.
Whatever you do, do NOT judge the series on this book alone. We get to journey through the authors growth and it’s SO worth it. The writing only gets richer with each episode. Cheers to this author and here’s to winning that lawsuit!
I so wanted it to get better, but it didn't. I don't think I've ever disliked the main male character in any story so much. I wanted more and got nothing. I feel bad even writing this, so disappointing.
I love a good love story, I wanted Reese and Trinity to find each other as a couple and I could tell that he had true feelings for her but he is scared
