After completing the Buried Secret, the author Deepika Viswanath again indulged in the lanes of short stories with the new Title
"Second Chance" with some well crafted short narrative obtaining its roots from various experiences and prompt she incurred throughout her writing journey.
She explained her definition of love through these stories comprising the steps of human emotion. The feeling of getting lonely in the cold embrace and denoting "getting candles" like the warmth of a possible reunion she used her best possible metaphors to draw the shades of life. She shared the feeling of first love through her characters, daydreaming now and then. Love could be a machine to travel back in time and relive those special moments together and get back in a snap of reality.
I can't express the plot of every story for the sake of its exclusive nature but I would love to highlight a quote from one of my favourite stories. The quote goes like this - "gold, fame, happiness, and most importantly, someone to share this all with. What more could I want?"
Isn't it so obvious? What's the purpose of all wealth of the world if you are devoid of someone's pleasant union?
And last but not least the title which is collaterally a significant query to apply your mind to is also the headline of the last story - i.e. Second Chance. Now here comes a significant question for you! --Do love deserves a second chance? If you want to know if it does you need to get this copy for your bookshelf.
A short story collection with a sheer amount of thoughts, experience and contemplation behind it. Waiting for her next genre to come!
