Will Okati is made of many things: imagination, coffee, stray cat hairs, daydreams, more coffee, kitchen experimentation, a passion for winter weather, a little more coffee, a whole lot of flowering plants and a lifelong love of storytelling.
The plot of someone returning to life through magic was intriguing, but could have been executed in a way that didn't cause that much confusion. Still the theme of a new chance after the loss of a loved one, of how to go on with life is a good one that I wished had been explored in more depth in this story.

"Café Noctem" by Willa Okati – 5/10
PROS: - One sex scene that is really hot--slow and intimate. - Sweet ending. (see cons below also)
CONS: - Depressing. Both characters are mourning the loss of a man who was a friend to both of them and the lover of one of them. The majority of my unease from the story stems from this: it felt to me as though one guy was still very much in love with his deceased lover and didn’t have it in him to give his current partner what he deserved. - One of the characters says something in the wake of an amazing, passionate session of sex that is so hurtful it literally made me a little sick to my stomach, and I put the book down for days and almost didn’t finish the story. Because of this, I couldn’t make myself completely buy into the happy ending.
sad but love one out. it hard to fight a ghost from the pasted. but sometimes you have to let go to find your the one in the future. awesome stories. :)
