Determined to become a rock star, Shuichi Shindou is discouraged by some harsh criticism he receives, and must find the strength to overcome his fears and keep trying.
This manga keeps disappointing me with its craziness but I will keep on reading it because I actually am interested in seeing how it all plays out. It's really weird, like watching a train wreck. But the tantalizing glimpses of a real story are enough to make me go back again and again.
I hoped that this volume would be different, since the beginning was rather "crazy-free," but then it slipped back to "same old, same old." You know, I have to wonder if the author feels some kind of a compulsion to top her previous idiotic stuff with something even more idiotic, you know, to prove it's possible.
Yes, this volume contains total Shuichi craziness but his moments of coherent thought and speech are a treasure! The Yuki, Seguchi and Mika dynamics are interesting. With so many people interfering with Yuki’s life, I found myself cheering for K and Judy trying to help Shuichi. Yeah, Yuki really needs to grow up and tell his family to butt out of his life. I hope Shuichi stays in New York for awhile!

I'd give this zero stars if I could, it was so painful. The art has steadily gone downhill and excuses are plenty. This series started off rather normal and this is the start of it going completely batshit.

I've really enjoyed the series so far but this one was just so crazy. It all seems very idiotic and the story hasn't progressed at all. Will keep reading until the end just to find out what happens.
For a review please see volume 1 were I review the whole series. But I can't resist commenting on the cover art for this volume - really how camp! or if one was being uncharitable how tarty!
Right when everything is going right for Shuichi, everything quickly goes wrong. Eiri dumps him for Seguchi, Shuichi may lose his singing career, and then he is kidnapped by a strange American movie actress! Without Eiri in his life, it's starting to look like Shuichi couldn't have hit the floor any harder.
So Eiri's true feelings for Shuichi are finally revealed-- even though Eiri will /never/ easily say it himself with that stubborn personality of his. I've seen much, much deeper into Eiri's personality in this volume and you know what I've found? Eiri is one of the weakest characters in the whole series (and Hiro and Eiri's ex fiancee are probably the strongest). Eiri can't speak the words that he feels in his heart, but those feelings do come out in the actions that he takes. Even though Eiri is somewhat cold and mean to Shuichi he has also sacrificed and risked quite a lot for him, and this time, he not only saved his career (for the second or third time) but he saved his life... If it wasn't for the deep development in Eiri's character, this book would get a rating of 3 stars. Thank you, Eiri!
To old and too disgusted by imbecility and lack of everything what makes story and plot logic and coherent. It should be comedy, well, perhaps it is and there is huge cultural gap and age gap, which prevents me to give this manga any good review. The plot is progressing in snail tempo and fillers are more and more evident. I think at this point our dear mangaka is paid for a page. But end is near...not so near...pity.
Yaoi or boy-on-boy love manga. It was the first and only series of that genre that I have read, and was utterly hilarious. It had great funny, sentimental, and sad moments. A lot of fun to read, and quite unpredictable. The art was a little lacking, the only reason for 3 stars instead of 5.
Yuki es de esos personajes que amo, y que preferiría nunca conocer a nadie así en la vida real xd PD: sé que mi memoria es un asco porque aquí pasaron cosas que había borrado por completo de mis recuerdos. Amo esta historia :"(
disliking blonde shuichi. i keep confusing him with yuki, not cool. plus his nyc trip was nothing like i thought it would be. but i guess that really reveals itself in the next volume.
I don't caaaaaare~~ Shuichi is incredibly one-dimensional and Yuki is a dumbass who keeps making the wrong decisions in this relationship. Get yer acts together, boys.
Still, even though I don't care about anything that happens in this manga anymore, I am starting to really like Seguchi.
