2.5 This just wasn’t it. I was all for some crazy Easter bunny alien nonsense…and I started skimming earlllllly. I can tell a book doesn’t have me hooked when I fixate on dumb unanswered plot stuff. Or if I say “ok why” out loud. For example we spent a decent amount of time talking about the purple “goo” but did we ever really find out why it happened that one time? See….I shouldn’t care. Or it should have been answered. The big one was Ch’ik’s “deformity”….so was it a third boob? Or just a nipple? The epilogue had it being a working boob but that would have been noticeable right?!?
These things shouldn’t be what I take away from my reading.
I think what I’m trying to say is I didn’t care about the story or the romance…I cared about 3rd boob mechanics 🤷🏼♀️

As someone who usually puts anything pregnancy related on my no-go list, this book may have just turned it into a kink I didn't realize I was into. Planet Oster is fun, sexy and downright ridiculous in some of the best ways. It takes some truly absurd concepts (peep colored semen? c'mon now) yet plays them so straight that it becomes a totally realistic part of the worldbuilding. I bought every part of this wonderful, pulpy scifi hook, line and sinker and fell in love with all of the characters in the process. Highly recommend this wonderfully thought out and slightly unhinged read!

I was given an Advance Reader Copy of Planet Oster: Fertility Fusion (The Holiday Hedonism Series #4) by Vera Valentine, J.L. Logosz, in exchange for an honest review. And I was simply not prepared for this novel.
I knew this book would be funny, and it was hilarious. The premise is delightfully silly–an eternally horny space smuggler agrees to carry the eggs of a triad of anthropomorphic bunny space pirates. It's treated with enough seriousness to tell a great story, but enough joking that I quite literally laughed out loud.
I knew it was gonna be sexy, and it was incredibly hot. The sex is weird, by human standards. There are tentacles, and multicolored goo, and more nipples than most humans possess. But the thing that makes erotica sexy isn't sharing bits with the characters. It's people being deeply devoted to each other's pleasure, and experiencing their own. This book knows how to have a good time.
The thing no one warned me about was the feelings. No one told me I'd be deeply invested in alien bunny people discovering love and acceptance in a found family. I was not prepared for how much I'd care about this disaster-magnet of a space smuggler and her socially awkward space pirate boyfriends navigating a relationship through very different cultural expectations and past trauma of social rejection. When you read this book and you find yourself biting your lip in concern because Zul's lying again to avoid disappointing his partners–at least I warned you.
Best of all, this book is another addition to the Night Beats extended universe! It's seamlessly worked into the story, and the characters all love this terrible TV show as much as I do.

This is a Easter themed, alien romance. It should be utterly ridiculous - and I guess to an extent it is - but it’s so gosh darn well written it works.
All the characters are great. Ch’ik was a fantastic FMC, and Zul, Roz and Jau were great. They all had their own quirks, and they all had great chemistry. And speaking of chemistry, holy smokes this was hot. If you’ve got a breeding kink then this is a MUST read.
The world building was simple and didn’t overwhelm the story, if you’re familiar with Sci Fi romance you won’t have a problem getting lost in the world. It really allowed you to focus on the drama, and not what the heck was going on.
The *only* thing I didn’t like was the time jump just after the four of them decided to get together. This is a personal pet peeve of mine in books, and not that much of a big deal, but I love to see relationships at the beginning. Seeing how they learn about each other and navigate the new group dynamic. Not the end of the world but I would have loved to have seen that.
Loved the book, I need to go back and read the rest of this series now

You know when you read a book and it’s both ridiculous but also amazing….this is that book! This was such a fun book to read and I really did love it! It was fun, sweet, sexy, and a bit weird in the best possible way! After having issues with her ship Ch’ik is stranded but decides to hit the local bar in hopes of “relieving some stress.” Little did she know that three bunny aliens would be willing to help her if she were to help them. The agreement is that they would help Ch’ik with her ship and it’s precious cargo and in return she would carry their eggs. While things start out as a business deal things eventually get more complicated. This story was so exciting to read and had just a sprinkle of angst. The guys were so good and I just loved all their personalities. Ch’ik is a bad ass and totally stubborn. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for a fun story!

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Typing this is insane. When a fiercely independent beta crosses their path, Roz, Jau and Zul are desperate for her to help them carry their kits. And then a bunch of space stuff happens.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: WELL. I liked it. But if you're going to read it, you have to embrace the weird.
The three men are basically alien bunnies. They, uh, have colored... uh... goo. They are very sexually free. Jeeze I can't even.
But honestly the story was sweet. They ea h had their own personalities and their own quirks. I loved Roz a lot. The overall plot was solid and moves quickly, and is punctuated by alien smut. What more could you want?

DNF (did not finish). What made the book unfinishable in your opinion?
I couldn't finish this book. Sometimes I'm down for strange and weird romance stories but this one didn't hook me. If I'm going to read a science fiction reverse harem that is Easter themed… I'm expecting the story to be ridiculous. However, there are parts of the story that just seem a bit too serious. I wish the author would have chosen to flesh out the science fiction story taking away the ridiculous elements. Or toning down on all the seriousness and ramping up the Easter theme. it was also hard for me to think of giant colorful bunny men as sexy. Since I only made it 10% of the way into the book, I'm going to give this story an average rating.

So this one was a lot different than I thought going in. Based on the recommendations and reviews I thought it was going to be a short fun romp with Easter bunny aliens. And it was a romp in the beginning but it quickly started to drag.
I thought this would be probably under 200 pages going in and it is around 340something pages. So the sexy fun start just...stops and drags out and it becomes a more "serious" story which isn't really what I was looking for.
I made it a little over halfway but honestly I was just getting bored and I have too many books on my tbr to be lagging on one I'm not really enjoying. Hopefully I'll pick it up again.

FMC jumps into this to this situation way too easily, and the plot felt like it was stuffed to make longer. But what can you expect in a spicy Easter alien romance 😂

So Weird but so good
Absolutely love love love this story! The worldbuilding is unique and the story is easy to become immersed in. I love the diversity of alien species including gender roles, appearances, pronouns, and more! The chemistry between the members of cluster is off the charts for some sexy MM, MF, MMMF action! This book was laugh out loud funny and heart squeezing sweet. Definitely recommend reading this story!!

Hahahahaha this is basically a reverse harem Easter Bunny story. 😂😂😂 I don’t know if I’ve read too many monster porn books, or what, but this was pretty run of the mill. The only weird part (for some people) is that one of the MMCs lays the cluster’s eggs in the MFC (per their agreement). But then everything else is pretty standard. They realize they’re attracted to each other, they all fall in love, some drama happens, then they get their HEA - blah blah blah. It’s a cute read! The MMCs are adorable. However, if you’re looking for some real fucked up kinky shit, this is not one of those books.

This is pretty long for a novella. I reached Ch. 20 (56%) and got really bored. The story really started to drag. I skimmed so useless detail, read all the remaining chapters, skimmed/skipped more tedious drawn out detail and crossed the finish line.
There is a distinct lack of “Easter” on this. All we get are colored bunnies, colored “goo”, and glowing eggs that are babies. After reading the previous stories by these authors I was expecting a lot more ridiculous/over the top than this. Oh man this was so lonnnggg, I just can’t get over it. The epilogue is disappointing as it just wraps up everything very quickly so it wasn’t very satisfying and it had a lack of detail. Complete opposite of the story haha.
Chi’ik annoyed me at beginning of the story. And yes she has a third nipple. It’s just a nipple, not a whole boob or what not and it is functional to nurse with.
I am wary to read the next story because this was so far from what the first two presented I don’t want the next to be like this one. Oh man a reviewer of next book mentions foot play, I may pass just because of that. It’s not my thing as I can’t get past how dirty/germy feet are usually.
There is a definite lack of smut here. There is some, but not like the other stories. Except…fisting! Haha.
Overall this didn’t meet my expectations and wouldn’t recommend it to most people. If you’re looking a quick Easter read this isn’t it, pass.

Pages 1-100 were: what the eff am I reading?! Surrounded by laughter as I gleefully wolfed it down. This was a fun gallop through the universe with these three Lapanns and their beta, Ch’ik. It was funny, and sweet, and sometimes a little bittersweet, and spicy and exciting. I was all over the place with it but mainly in love. The moments between the Lapanns and Ch’ik were on point, a mix of sweet and bittersweet, they break your heart apart and put it back together when they’re together.
Some things I absolutely loved: Roz. ROZ. ROZ. Ch’ik. I loved how the world is arranged with alphas, betas, and omegas, where they’re all needed and no one is “extra”. I loved the fact that omegas are specifically made stronger because they have to carry and protect their young until meet with a compatible beta who can grow and carry them to birth. I loved that Jau, Zul, and Roz all loved one another.
This was an A+ joyous ride for me.

Better than I expected!
So, I started this book a little reluctantly and didn't expect very much from it, admittedly. Someone had mentioned it in a Facebook group I'm in after someone else shared a vital video involving alien "toys" that eggs come out of. You may know the one! Seeing that this book was more or less about alien Easter bunnies, I told a friend about it, and we decided we HAD to give it a go to see how ridiculous it was. To my surprise, it actually wasn't "ridiculous" and was pretty good!
So, the basic points. This book has:
- brightly colored humanoid alien bunnies

Without giving too much away, Ch'ck (looks like "chick" - cute, goes with the Easter bunny theme, right?) - the female main character - bumps into three Lapanns (the alien bunny race - sounds like lupine, the author really got creative with these names!) at a bar and joins them on their ship to get away from some trouble. The three Lapann realize she's somehow a Beta, despite not being of their race, so they ask if she'd be willing to carry their eggs if they help her make a delivery since her ship was damaged. She agrees, and she "accepts" the eggs.
Throughout the book, there's a few adventures and issues they run into, and you follow them on their journey until they get to their final destination and discover what comes of their partnership.
I expected this book to be a bit more on the "silly" side, but it ended up being kind of cute and sweet! The guys are just loveable, though not without their little faults and mistakes sometimes. Ch'ck has been alone for so long that she struggles to let anyone close or get her hopes up that anything would come from this deal.
If you want something a bit different, a bit sweet, nothing dark, and are curious about a different style of... intimacy... I actually do recommend this book!
So, I started this book a little reluctantly and didn't expect very much from it, admittedly. Someone had mentioned it in a Facebook group I'm in after someone else shared a vital video involving alien "toys" that eggs come out of. You may know the one! Seeing that this book was more or less about alien Easter bunnies, I told a friend about it, and we decided we HAD to give it a go to see how ridiculous it was. To my surprise, it actually wasn't "ridiculous" and was pretty good!
So, the basic points. This book has:

J. L. and Vera can (and apparently will) write anything and it’ll be good. Idk what sort of magic it is, what sacrifices they’ve made, or how many souls they’ve bartered but they really can take the wildest ideas and turn them into a good story.
I don’t usually like reading anything gestation related, pregnancy does NOT appeal to me in any way shape or form, I tend to avoid it — but it worked for this story and they wrote it in a way that wasn’t off-putting and I think the sci-fi elements really helped soften the edges for me. Especially the omegaverse elements that they subverted, which I really enjoyed. Smaller alphas? Big brawny omegas that protect their alphas, betas, & kits as well as spawn the eggs? The entire process being moot without betas, who are usually “just normal” and overlooked in OV? Hell yeah, I’m down. It also had the good stuff from OV like alphas providing for their omegas and betas, scent marking, mate bites, and of course knots. Obviously you pick this up, look at the cover (especially the one with three shirtless, pastel-skinned muscle men with bunny ears) and you chuckle, “omegaverse space bunnies, hah”. But it works. It really does.
The bunny (and Easter) related puns, play on words, and nods were absolutely excellent too, I found myself chortling and making silly notes like “I can’t believe you named the ship cotton tail” (Koton Tayl) and “hahaha lurker” (Lurquer).
Also speaking of humor, this gem towards the beginning about unalived me on my drink so I had to include its genius here: “Sometimes being sexually adventurous meant trying out a feather, other times it meant the whole damn chicken. Time to rotisserie up, Ch’ikie girl.” 😂
Even with that saucy line I think this is the tamest of the duo’s books I’ve read, lol. Maybe it’s just because it was a much longer, plottier book than the other stories they’ve done and it was more balanced out. But from what some people said I was expecting to be scandalized and this was shockingly wholesome lmao. I mean there’s obviously egg swapping, snd TAF, so it’s not chaste. There was a lot more hijinks, actions, character development, and overall story here than smut.

So Well Written
… I forgot this was supposed to be an Easter themed silly scifi romcom. Obviously, there was oodles of humour. Eggs, coloured *goo*, and pastel coloured fluffy bunny alien mates. But I was profoundly pleased to find a truly heartwarming story about a lost, lonely soul finding her family in a vast universe where she never quite fit in. It’s charming, pulls at the heartstrings, and honestly I wish there was more of this society of *they had a fancy word for males are with males and females are with females but I can’t remember* rabbit aliens- but that is the magic of Vera Valentine!! There is not a single work she has ever been a pet of that I don’t adore. J.L. is new to me but I’m putting her backlog on my TBR.
Pregnancy plays a big role in this - she’s ovipositored in the first 15 percent and then spends the rest of the book “rounding” with three eggs. But I wouldn’t say it’s about her carrying the eggs - rather, the bunny throuple’s deep desire for a family and her being the miracle they needed.
The only thing I didn’t like was all the sci-fi words. I can’t even list them all, I just know I made mental gibberish sounds every time an item of space-esque oddity was mentioned. Alas, I can’t really expect authors to NOT make up words to describe sciencey things that don’t exist so that’s not so much a complaint about the book itself but rather about the genre - for that reason, I don’t take any stars off.
My ABSOLUTE favourite random world fluff bit was the three void whales in the nebula. That imagery was utterly incandescent and I’m sure it will live in my imagination for the rest of my life.
Spice was 3/5 - while creative and funny, I wouldn’t say it’s explicit or detailed.
Humour was 10/5 because I was laughing myself to tears the whole time.

This is quite a bananas story about three mated Bunny-like aliens who have been banned from their home planet and unable to have children of their own. Until one lucky day, their senses smell a compatible person near! Ch'ik Wazo is down on her luck when three long-eared hotties promise to help her in exchange for her to carry their eggs. Hidden dangers might turn this seemingly simple arrangement into much more.
Okay okay, I can hear people screeching already, I promise none of these cute-ears aliens are pretending to be The Easter Bunny.
This is such an original story. The world building is absolutely beautiful, not over complicated or explained, it felt natural to native habitant of the alien world. The chemistry between all the characters is fantastic and the story full of action and drama and space fighting! I feel like this book could have been a little shorter, but with all the great story telling we don't see the pages go. I flew through this book so quickly and it is exactly what I was craving.
If you want some out-of-this world (literally) sexy times, eternally horny aliens, awkward, goofy and fluffy protective aliens and a badass woman to tie them all together!

The Easter bunny might not be coming anytime soon but those sexy as sin bunnymen sure are… over and over and over… The girls that get it, get it. The girls that don’t should definitely grab Plant Oster!
I’m sorry but I have to file a complaint. No one told me this book would have me screaming “I VOLUNTEER” at random aliens that are looking to impregnate someone. That’s going to be a risk I will HAPPILY take after reading Planet Oster. And it’s all because of Zul, Roz, and Jau. Those men will make your hearts (and panties) melt!
I haven’t read an alien romance in YEARS and this was definitely a phenomenal book to get me back into them! I truly hope J.L. and Vera do more alien cowrites in the future because ✨wow✨ was this addictive. (No I can’t think of a better word than wow. My brain has turned to goo after reading Planet Oster it was so good! And no it’s not the fun goo like in the book.)
Did I mention the pink, blue, and yellow jizz? How fucking awesome is that!? Buy this book, you won’t regret it.

I got this recommended off my fave tiktoker and after reading the synopsis and having one long laugh at the ingenious idea of I thought of giving this a shot as its not my usual kind of book but when it comes to books and k!ink in books I am very open minded.
The story has quite the premise, 3 bunnies (and not just any a pink, a blue and a yellow one!) from a planet called Oster (as a German speaker I appreciated the word play as this is the German word for Easter) meet a stranded woman called "Ch'ik" (at this point I was howling with laughter, in a good way!!). They need someone to carry their "eggs" to fruition and she agrees and fun times ensue with a lot of action and adventure. Including colour coded, ehm, goo.
This is def something for people with a breeding kink and has the pregnancy trope. I love that this comes with an extended list of TW and that the authors took the time for it to be included.
I docked a star because the book has POV chapters written in 3rd person which I am not a huge fan off, it made for a clunky read in some parts as I kept forgetting who I was reading as. It dulled their individual voices down a little but that is more of a me problem rather than the book. Smut level is on the medium to low side and personally would have loved to have a bit more of that rather than just references to it.
I never thought Id like a furry and Easter themed book with a breeding k!ink in it but glad to have found this as it was quite the entertaining read!

A female MC who is not only a bada$$ but also likeable and relatable. A woman knowing what she wants and not afraid to take it.
Even if it means making a very peculiar deal...
The worldbuilding and characters were absolutely fantastic! The world and its features were easy to follow without pausing to analyse the ins and outs of how it all works.
Zul, Roz, and Jau were empathetic characters and easy to fall for quickly. Finding bunny-looking men hot? Well, these two authors convinced me!
Despite (or maybe thanks to) different personality traits, the group of four formed a strong bond with chemistry going through the roof!
Personal note: the book contained my favourite kink to read about (no spoilers) so that bumps it at least a star more!

wish I could give half stars
This is more than a three but not quite a 4. It was so much better than I expected. Although I guess I’m not 100% sure what I was expecting. This was better anyway. The characters were interesting and I liked the way they interacted and brought the 4th person into the mix. I’m not a fan of ABO type books but this wasn’t so overwhelming with it to be unreadable.
The reason it wasn’t. 4 was because the long technical descriptions at times. I had to skip them they were so boring and I don’t feel I missed out by skipping them. So buckle up if you don’t enjoy technobabble. I loved Ch’ik though. She was fun. Her crappy ship and dodgy past relationships were fun too.
Worth a read. Don’t overlook because of the bunny theme. The egg stuff was also good. No shame. Sorrynotsorry.

Ch’ik meets Zul, Roz and Jau at a bar when she has to land due to needing repairs on her ship.
The three Lapann’s (bunny type men) go to the bar to drown their pain of the three eggs Roz has. Without a Beta to transfer the eggs into they will not hatch. They smell a Beta in the bar which is Ch’ik, though she isn’t a Lapann female.
There is a bar fight and the men try to protect Ch’ik, she is very independent and isn’t impressed at all. She goes to leave and the aliens who lost the fight fire at her head yelling her crew and her will die.
They make a deal for her to carry the eggs till the kits are born. They will load her ship and fix it in return.
Read the book to find out all that happens, and it’s a lot. I feel like I got to know them all, their different personalities and quirks. Great writing. HEA

This book is absolutely fantastic. Exactly what I needed to get my out of my reading slump.
The authors are just brilliant.
My first time reading an omega verse book but not my first reverse harem novel. I’m totally on board with why should the heroine have to choose between 3 alien space bunnies.
I don’t have a favourite Zul, Jau and Roz are all so amazing but Jau is a masochistic bunny after my own heart.
The world building was so well written and you didn’t have trouble following the story.
It is written in multiple points of view.
Plenty of MM, MF, MMF & MMMF action. I’m totally down with the breeding kink in this book.
Make sure you read the Content Warnings in this book.
