The interspecies, genderfucked micro-narratives were as clever as they were off-the-wall, but my was really the poetic interludes that stood out to me.
I wish there was more context included as to the (fascist) state of reality within the universe of the text, one of my favorite passages was the parody of the contemporary congressional process. At times, the pleasure of Maddened language overshadowed what could have been a gripping plot and background - perhaps not what Green was going for, but something I wished for as a reader!
