Maybe, Probably
Ariel is a member of the IT department. She is smart, very down to earth, and incredibly talented at her job. But she has the fault of overdoing it. When a technical job needs someone to look at it, they pair her with Quinn, the new employee who is nerdy, but also incredibly attractive. Ariel is hesitant, but as they sit and work on the project, they get into an argument. They have heated fights and continue to get upset until the boss threatens demotion. They work together, and finally, after a long night alone, they end up having sex. However, Ariel refuses to acknowledge it, and she runs out before Quinn can talk to her even more.

I am voluntarily leaving this review. I’m actually giving this a 3.5 star review. There were a lot of typos along with editor notes (the Hugh Jackman comment in the editor note had me giggling), but if all of that is fixed, this has the structure to be a good short story series.
Ariel is used to working alone, until her boss finally forces her to work with a partner on a big project. Now she finds herself having to play nice with a hottie who she hates. Quinn is the new guy at the office and is thrown to the wolves so to speak, on his first day. He has to learn how to work with Ariel and try to figure out how to navigate his feelings.
Once all the typos are fixed, this could be a great short story. And although there are typos, I’m excited to see where this story goes.
