Conway and Griffin think they can put the bomb to good use, but the spaceship won’t fly and the enemy have their own interest in the wreckage. A plan to bring the bomb to the aliens has unintended consequences and far-reaching effects.The fight will take Conway and Griffin from the ruined city to a spaceship with capabilities beyond reckoning. They will face unimaginable horrors and a foe that has no regard for life. Every contest has a prize and this one is no different. Victory against the Ragger fleet will save billions from death and set back the enemy’s ambitions in this part of the Unity League’s territory. It’s going to take skill, guts and a lot of dead aliens before it happens.

Anthony James spent his youth reading what might now be called classic sci-fi and fantasy books. These days, he spends time in his study with the door locked against rampant and ferocious toddlers, writing books of his own.

That's the third person stuff out of the way.

For anyone who's read any of my books, you'll know that I write action science fiction that pulls no punches and which doesn't cram the good stuff into the last couple of chapters. The action starts early and it doesn't let up. I also take care to mix in plenty of humanity. The characters I write are all distinctly believable, often facing uncaring enemies and overwhelming odds. When they win, it's because they did their best.

Good sequel! This is how you build characters! I like the aliens, action and everything. The insects are fairly creepy

Another fine example of small unit combat

It Conway is an example of leading from the front. Griffin is a good representative of a very good starship captain

It twas an good luck space military adventures

The group tumbled into the airlock and Akandar was already there, waiting for them. Zargol embraced him like an old friend and it was the first display of affection Conway could recall witnessing amongst the aliens.

Great Storyline

Wellbeing was a extremely cracking story totally enjoyed it. Totally looking forward to Havoc the third book in this series.

Continues to be a good read. Still not edge of the seat can't put down but it's getting there. Looking forward to the next instalment.
