2.5/5 !!!!!! CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!! this book was... alright, i guess? the main character is quite boring and not an enjoyable character at all. Although it was Cleo's journal, I felt more attached to her sister, Melodie. I guess I should feel bad for her cause her father is dead and her best friend is a toxic one, however her behavior towards her childhood boyfriend, Dimitri is... uhm... she imagined he was swimming above her when she was at the pool. Mind you, she's not spoken to this boy in years. I liked that this book has mental health as an important topic. Cleo's mother has been having depression ever since her husband passed and Melodie had an suicidal attempt. And I think Cleo had some sort of issue because she didn't think she would make it past the age Anne Frank had when she died and was constantly talking about death.
