Dioooooossss que wena novela. Tbh la empecé por la que comparaban con 희란국 연가, pero sin lo místico de los demonios. Tiene mucho del contexto de las kisaeng y los jongisu 🧚♀️
¿De que va? dos hermanas huerfanas viven en una Kibang = casa de kisaengs(mujeres coreanas que entretenian, desde recibir pagos para tocar musica, escucharlos y tener relaciones sexuales) y la hermana mayor siempre se llevó la peor parte para dejar que su hermanita (la protagonista) creciera sanamente 🥹😫 ella igual se va dando cuenta del abuso y busca trabajitos que la ayuden a juntar dinero para poder pagar la deuda a la mala que lidera toda la casa. Y bueno se topa con el prota, y el se entera que ella sabe leer un idioma rarito y la contrata para que le lea porque es ciego. (No es ciego) Y bueno ahi inicia lo chido, ella se va y el queda captado por su belleza y como onvre que es, empieza a engatuzarla.
Hubieron muchos red flags eso si, el perro de Doryeong👺 el daño a la hermana de la prota 😫 la indecisión del prota Y MUCHA MAS.
Hubieron buenos giros en la trama y muy recomendado si les gusta las historias dramáticas con buen smut pero con buena construcción de mundo y personajes.

This book grabbed me by the hair and dragged me through a kisaeng house and honestly? I kind of liked it😌. We’re following two orphan sisters stuck in a kibang, where the older sister takes every disgusting “duty” so the younger FMC can stay as clean as possible in a filthy system. Big “I will walk into hell for you” energy. Every time the younger one slowly clocks just how much her sister has been shielding her, my heart did that thing where it cracks but also grows three sizes like, “oh, so this is what pain feels like.”
If you love a grumpy, completely unhinged male lead and historical romance vibes that feel like a high-stakes psychological chess match, this is IT. Jihak is... a lot. Like, sir, please step away from the toxic waste bin for two seconds? 😭 The absolute AUDACITY of this man. The way he delivers lines like "If I can't have you, I have no choice but to ruin you" with a straight face? Toxic? Highly. Problematic? Extremely. Did I feral-scream into my pillow anyway? Absolutely. I am trash for this dynamic and I will not be taking questions at this time.
The FMC is fighting for her absolute life, and honestly, the sheer tension between her and Jihak had me sweating. The prose is dripping with pure angst, yearning, and dark, heavy atmosphere. The scenes where he's casually asserting dominance but his internal monologue is just a chaotic whirlpool of "omg she’s completely dismantling my entire worldview what is happening" were pure gold. You can literally feel the desperation radiating off the pages.
Why is it a 4 and not a 5? Because as much as I lovingly eat up this level of unhinged drama, Jihak needed a swift kick to the shins like three chapters earlier than he got one. Like, bestie, go to therapy! Please! The pacing in the mid-section also did a little bit of a weird waltz, but honestly, the sheer addictive quality of the webnovel format saved it.
If you want a historical ride that is entirely dramatic, slightly toxic, and incredibly gripping, pick this up. Just prepare your mental health beforehand!

Al parecer esta es a novela y no el manhwa pero ya lo marqué, entonces así se queda jajaja
Actualmente está en emisión el manhwa, cuenta la historia de Eunha que quiere ayudar a su hermana de salir de una casa de servicioss y se vuelve en la lectora de un príncipe que rechazó ser el heredero y a veces pierde la vista, pero al parecer todo el mundo los quiere separar porque hay de por medio un juego político en el que no pueden coincidir y estar juntosss
La trama en la época antigua coreana y el dibujo están muy bien detallados y el spicy diomio muuuuy intenso el prota masculino es muy obsesss y me encanta

Finally i finished this novel even the translation is a little bit hmm inaccurate? But nevermind I still can understand the main story. It's a long novel but can't wait for the manhwa to be completed. The art is chef kiss. I love Jihak's character development. From toxic to gentleman. And finally all of them got their own happy ending. Yeong with Yulje aaa cute. While Jihak & Eunha got married and have a daughter named Haewoo. Ok that's all. But I love Jihak so much, he's hott you know 🤪 I rated it 4.5/5 ⭐

It held my attention, but it didn't get very far with it. Over all, not a bad read or a waste of time, but it doesn't occupy me outside the time I spend reading. Just not very engaging or deep. Still, well executed and polished without big holes or poor decisions.
