I’m a sucker for a book that’s set in my city, so Take It Down had me at hello. Out of all their friends, Cameron and Dontre are the good girl and boy. They don’t slang, they don’t hustle, and they both hold down 9-5 jobs. They not about that life but, they want to live the lifestyle that comes with being about that life. They see their clicks poppin’ bottles in the VIP section of the club every weekend and they wanna be down too. So, unbeknownst to their friends, Cameron and Dontre decide they gon' hit a few licks to get them all the designer labels, luxury cars, and expensive vacations their little heart’s desire. Cam is young and impressionable and doesn’t realize the danger Dontre is putting them both in until it’s too late. Life comes at you fast when you rob the wrong trap house and steal from the wrong drug dealer. Stealing from Sahmere TD (Take Down) No Last Name was a guaranteed death sentence. Playin’ with his money is definitely playin’ with your life. Sahmere already knows these two gullible dummies can’t pay him pack so, he comes up with an unconventional payment plan. “Since y’all were cool with your bytch putting it on the line, we might as well keep the party going right? She can give up that p*ssy, until the debt is cleared.” And, with that statement, a ghetto love story full of drama is born. Chiiiiiiile, hold on tight because Cam, Sahmere, and Dontre are going to take you on a hoodtabulous ride. The drama, the sex, the jealousy, the sex, the betrayal, the sex, the baby mama drama, the sex, the secret tea, the sex, the not so unplanned pregnancy, the sex, and so much more are gon’ have you on the edge of your seat. And, did I mention the sex?!!! Cause, Lawd, there’s a lot of it. Take It Down was definitely a page turner and I enjoyed every bit of this book. Unfortunately, the errors and incorrect word usage wouldn’t let it be great and that’s what kept me from giving it 4 stars. Nicole Jackson is a new to me author and I’d definitely recommend you add this book to your TBR.

I was gonna give the smut I read here 4 stars but wtf was that ending? Like I know I was reading some jaw dropping, coochie tingling, mouth salivating smut but wtf was that ending? I felt like I was being rushed, like when a side is about to be caught by main butt ass naked and they're rushed out the back - exactly that.
As I said in my reading updates, if you're looking for depth and a gripping story you'll give this one star but if you just be honest and enjoy the erotica for what it is you'll have a fantastic time.
Sah could get it, any time too🤭. Ole girl made some dumb decisions 😂 but she was cute.

I have told y’all time and time again Nicole Jackson going forever get a one click out of me.
This book here …….. Lawddddddd her forbidden love and lust stories always makes me throw my morals out the window. I be rooting for the wrong team every time and that’s how you know this is a job well done. 🔥💕 10 stars across the board for making me fall for TD and not give a f* about how it started or why wrong or right. Just when I thought I couldn’t love one of your male characters more than snow you give me TD and I’m riding for him.

BDE TD saw an opportunity with Cam and took it. Cam was robbing men with her boyfriend but they end up robbing the wrong person. That person is TD and uses it to his advantage. This is a nice spicy read.

At first I felt kinda sorry for Dontre. The way TD swooped in & stole Cam from him. But not after finding out him & Rod was in on the robbery at TD’s trap house, which left Cam in the cross fire. Not to mention that he had a whole secret Bm for two years, behind Cam’s back. He deserved all of the kicks & punches he received. Even though Cam was forced into such a very unfortunate & uncomfortable position, her & TD fell in love. TD came with all that bedroom BDE. Looking & smelling like money. Cam was like Dontre who? And that’s Big TD … not the little one! Another BOMB 10 outta 10 from Nicole Jackson.

I don’t like cheating which makes it hard to like this book. Everyone just feels like they’re acting irresponsibly and with kids involved it’s kinda like yeah ig it’s hot but like the children. I also hate when dudes have other women especially multiple bms which is just like no for me idk. I definitely enjoyed reading this but I think I was almost equal amounts annoyed

This is novella that states its a erotic tale. While there is a lot of spice, its not the best scenes.
This book is a great Demon's Dream inspired read. It has 2 similarities to that powerhouse and its cute.
The writing is good and this would have been a great full length novel if the author had added more. This story had to potential to be 5 stars but the fast pacing and fill in the blank spots made it fall short.
Definitely a good read though.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was such a good erotic tale! The plot was unimaginably good. The xes scenes were super steamy! I lobe the way Cam thinks and how she adjusted to her situation. TD was all that!

Lord, when I tell you this book was a wild ride. This series had me in a headlock and wouldn’t let go. I went from one book straight to the other. Cameron and her boyfriend decide that we’re going to hit a lick, however they ran up on the wrong trap house. Cameron’s boyfriend got her in some sh$t she couldn’t get out of. I thought they were going to die at the beginning of the book. Their actions caused her to literally slip up onto another ninja’s 🍆 and fall in love. Cameron and Sahmere meet under some very abnormal circumstances and got a little more than she bargained for. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This book was a mess I definitely readed better than this and honestly wasnt a fan I honestly had mixed feelings about this book like why was female character was so dumb and willingly giving it up and why her boyfriend and her did what they did and tbh I can't say that I wasn't feeling what the author was trying to do but it still a somewhat interesting plot and story but it wasn't my fav and that why I give it a three star rating

Whew!...This book was giving EVERYTHING and it’s nasty too 💦😜 TD and Cam met in an unconventional way but their love for each other was something I enjoyed reading about.. The love, sex scene, drama, plot twist… Nicole never disappoints and ya’ll need to get your copy now.

How can you be all in with someone and you only known them for a few months? And the way they met was so problematic and crazy that it barely gave him second thoughts about pursuing a relationship. I can understand falling fast love at first sight and all that, but come on 😭😭😭 Like a lot of books does this and it pisses me off so bad like 😭 please at least do a time jump or something 😭 and then the epilogue be like ‘4 months later’ and the total time they’ve been together would be almost a year 😭

4.5 ⭐️ Ngl I ate this messy read up but I’m a sucker for a debt owed trope. Cam and her boyfriend Dontre decided to rob the wrong people. Running off with 100k and some work. These two fools did everything but lay low. Just asking to get caught slippin. So when TD popped up with a three month proposition to have his way with Cam, she quickly realized the only way to keep them alive was to agree. It didn’t take long for her to fall for what he was blessed with. Lines are blurred, boundaries are crossed and I don’t think either of them were ready. This was such a messy read. They definitely stressed me out some. Definitely a lil plot twist. I Stan Sahmere(TD) and Cameron. Spice was spicing. Definitely recommend. There is a book 2.

This book was good , angsty I was glad cam moved on from dontre because when all the truth came out he definitely wasn’t worth her time . Not to much going on plot wise but was so good seeing them go from just cuddle buddies to where they can’t hide their jealousy & always have to be together, he wanted her to have his kids and last name . He’s protective and dominant.
Dontre I felt bad for but as the story progressed I seen he wasn’t good for her no way , the way she was holding everything down for them ! The cliffhanger was ehhh , it just ended really weird but I have to see what’s going on in part two .

Nicole has easily become my favorite author Im so in love with her writing style people always say she never branch off and she’s always writing about the same thing honestly I don’t want her to branch off because she’s the shit in forbidden love that’s her thing and I’m here for it all I’ve truely enjoyed all her books some more than others and I don’t mind paying for them because I know they are going to keep me entertained happy said mad and rolling my eyes😂😂😂 Girl keep doing what you do cause you got a die heart fan riding for you

Whew Dre was trash af for putting her harms way in the first place smh , however I’m happy something great came out of it. She ended founding her soulmate Which amazing and I can honestly say he finally found his soulmate in the darkest time in his life when wasn’t feeling normal after his attack from Kesh trifling ahh ! Kesh is trash , she literally attacked him in hopes to humble him but she could have ended his life completely for selfish reasoning smh . I understand he did her wrong in the past however it didn’t warrant her lethal attack.

great read
This book was so great and unexpected. I didn’t read the synopsis because I already knew a Nicole Jackson read is always a good read. The plot to this story was so different and unexpected. The change in characters was refreshing. The story flowed seamlessly. I recommend this book to anyone wanting something outside of a traditional hood love story. You won’t be disappointed.

Take Down is Complicated
This one is different from Nicole's normal work. Lots of drama and sex that keep the plot and storyline interesting. Cam is a good girl whose choice in men leaves her wanting. She is young and impressionable but a good person. You just want her to win. Sahmere is a man that needs to come to terms with his decisions. Is it Cam and Sahmere all the way? I'm not sure that I want them to be together just yet! Waiting to decide after reading part 2.

Thoroughly Enjoyed But…
I enjoyed this read. It’s my first read from this author so I will be exploring more of her work. I only gave 4 starts because I wish the chapters/scenes were more detailed. As soon as I started to get into the scenes, they would end. Also there were some grammatical errors.
All in all it was a great read with an amazing, unrealistic, erotic, fairytale that kept me turning the pages.

Man Cam got herself into one helluva situation. Sahmere gave me all the vibes from the very beginning and I was here for his slightly unhinged, nasty self. Who knew their indecent proposal would turn into more...ME🖐🏽! Donte was foul, and the knowledge that he'd been working with Sahmere's brother the whole time and lying to Cameron, hiding money, all while threatening her was foul. It would be pew, pew on site, but for whatever reason Sahmere was letting them make it. I'm off to book 2!💋

Great story
This was such a good story. The plot was definitely different from the norm. I was enthralled by this story from the first page. It just kept getting better as the story continued. Cam and Shameer did not have the most conventional relationship yet somehow it worked. I’m so glad Cam upgraded from a lame to a boss.

Great Read
I am so glad I made this purchase. This book was really good and I couldn’t put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and I hope Dontre’s conniving a$$ gets what he deserves. I am sure part 2 will answer all my questions. Sahmere and Cam are perfect for each other. I Definitely recommend this read.
