Wowwww, this was a dark, twisted, spicy novella! Candy's mother is pimping her out, hoping she'll get pregnant so they can go after the man she slept with for money. Her target is Sebastian, head of the Montenegro Crime Family.
Candy's mom is evil. She put drugs in Sebastian's drink to cloud his mind so he doesn't use a condom. Candy didn't want anything to do with that, but she couldn't go against her mom.
They spend one passionate, amazing night together. Then Candy disappears.
This was dark, full of betrayal and twists you don't see coming. I enjoyed it.

Another excellent addition to this anthology! Kingston is desperate to be initiated into the Brotherhood and the time finally comes. His first test? Get close to someone he used to be friends with... his childhood friend, Ivy.
Kingston is a perfect antihero who isn't afraid to unalive people. Ivy is a good counterpart, but we don't know much about her yet. This novella is only in Kingston's POV. It also ends with a cliffhanger.

Wow, this one was a diiirty roller coaster ride! I loved it. Niccolo is a crazy hero but he's still likeable. Lucy is the innocent tutor of his niece's. Niccolo has a plan for revenge against Lucy and her family... he wants to use her body.
Niccolo is mine, I've claimed him! Five stars.

Oh lord. This was a steam treasure. K!dn@pping, lactation k!nk, CNC, praise k!nk, degradation k!nk, jp, protectiveness galore…and the list goes on… and on 😈.
Graylyn’s (21) in college and engaged to a horrible man, one her family expects to marry. She’s managed to keep her v card even though he’s tried to take it. She’s at the bar she’s frequented before while her “fiancé” flirts with other women. The only man that interests her is the bartender though 👀.
Cayce doles out justice and does questionable things. He’s been observing Gray for a while now. She has a man, but that doesn’t bother him because she’s going to be his 😉. After she suffers at the hands of her fiancé, he decides to show her what real pleasure is. Lo and behold, she likes things rough, just the way he likes it 👀😉. And there only one way he can show her everything there is about pleasure…

Oh. This was STEAMY 🥵 Cayce is alpha and a dom when it comes to Gray 🔥. She might think she doesn’t like something, but he proves her wrong. Every 🔥 time 🥵.
I loved how she “tries” to resist him and “hate” him, but… Cayce plays her body like the most experienced professional pianist in the world, and it’s 🔥.
I love how obsessed he is with her, so much so that he seeks Justice on her behalf. Now that’s a REAL man for you 💅. This made me love him even more 🥹.
There were a few things I found myself scratching my head about- the AI, the shot given to Gray (wish I had had one when I was lactating lol), and how fast the ending is wrapped up. I get it- it’s not a full length novel. I wouldn’t have minded having it full length.
Overall, I really enjoyed it.

Cherry is lost and lonely. After her eighteenth birthday, her stepbrothers and stepfather start to show interest in her, and she wonders why after all these years.
Cherry Pie is a quick read. It will captivate you from the start. It's well written, and the author puts in a kink you don't often read in a romance book. So imagine my surprise and delight when I was reading about it.
The epilogue is everything. I highly Enjoyed it, more so than the rest of the novella. It’s not like the rest of the novella isn't good. It is. It’s just that the epilogue is phenomenal.

He's mad that she left and finds out someone is trying to off him. He spends 2 months trying to find his girl and when he does there is some payback. Now candy is back in his hands and those secerts and drama come back.

This was a darker book I've read of this anthology.
It's about Niccolo and Lucy and the darkness starts at page one and goes on for all the book.
If you're into revenge and serious steamy heat, this book is perfect for you!
This anthology is gonna be amazing if these books are anything to go by!

This is an arc review for Cherry Pie by Daisy Jane
This was a good novella to say how short it was, it had a good amount of plot that was fairly developed. I didn’t have any expectations going into this besides knowing it was mfmm and it was taboo, I would say it’s more taboo than it is spicy and a lot of the smut depends on it being forbidden and taboo (not that this is a bad thing!).

If you love Dark romance then you must read this anthology right away. It has dark romance for everyone’s likes. There are others that were a little over the top for me but I still read them because I am not one to ever give up.

I read She's Mine by HJ Bellus from this collection and this story keeps you on your toes and is full of twists and turns. The story has you on the edge of your seat and is full of secrets that keep you guessing. The characters have you captivated and the story holds you captured within the pages. It is fast paced, full of intrigue and gives you an ending that leaves you happy.
I also read Protect Her by KL Myers and this story had me hooked from the very first page. Max and Evie’s story wraps itself tightly around you and keeps you holding on tight. Lies are uncovered, truths are admitted and the story keeps you guessing right to the very end. The connection and chemistry between the characters is amazing and the witty banter adds a touch of light to the dark.

I read, She’s Mine by HJ Bellus that is included in this anthology and I have to say it was some crazy twisted mess. What type of monsters would do such a thing. I don't want to give to much away but I am so happy Camilla made that call. Sick bastards.

Okay, so whilst I read nearly all of the books, I’d left out a few of them, so this isn’t a complete review, especially since I’m only gonna be rating three of my favourite, and I’ll got in ascending order.
3) Stolen Tutor
So I read this a while ago, so the book is a bit lost on me, but I remember enjoying it, at least somewhat. Carina Blake was also a completely new author to me, but I enjoyed her work. The plot was somewhat consistent, I just remember not liking the H that much, cannot remember why. I also didn’t really like the whole niece/tutor thing. I don’t know, I just wasn’t a fan, but the romance between the main characters was generally extremely sweet. I liked it a lot, and recommend.
It is also completely safe. The H has a kid, but it’s his niece from his late brother.
The smut was nice, but not too spicy. More on the fluffy side.
2) Throne of Lies
This one was very cute. I don’t remember it in detail (I’m sorry for the bad memory) even if it was the last book in the anthology. It was very good though. Javier was so hot, like literally, in love. And Aveline was really sweet. The epilogue ends with them married I’m pretty sure, but I only wish that they had had children. They would have been the cutest parents.
The smut was also mediocre, nice though. Also very much on the fluffy side.

This one was hands down my favourite. I love Elena M. Reyes as an author. She’s wonderful. I read the beautiful sinners series and loved it so hot so excited when I saw that she was in the anthology. Silas was completely alpha male, like literally everything he did was the utmost possessive, protective, and caring. He was so sweet to Willow and I actually loved how he was possessive of her without seeming toxic. Willow was the sweetest, I literally loved her and they were hands down the cutest couple in the anthology.
The smut was also amazing. Like the dirty talk hit the spot, all of Elena’s smut does though. But Silas was made of the perfect mixture of smut and fluff.
It was also completely safe. There was no other woman or other man that I remember. The two MC’s were completely into each other only, just the way it should be.
Ultimate Comment: As a whole, the series was very much enjoyable. I liked all of the books I read. If you’re looking for something extremely dark, than I would say search a bit more. The book length were perfect for an anthology and the series was actually relatively fluffy, but still, a definite recommend.

5-Dark-Star Anthology!
There is something for everyone in this DARK OBSESSION Anthology, and the reads I looked forward to most were from Authors HJ Bellus and KL Myers. Seriously, I’ll read anything from them.
I headed into SHE’S MINE because HJ Bellus was the first of my chosen authors to feature and her signature angsty yet dark content lived up to the high expectations that I have of her writing. Guaranteed great reading, and I loved Jax as an honourable hero hell-bent on a deadly vendetta against a powerful man. There was so much packed into the novella including my broken and torn heart, and my absolute admiration for a young lady who got herself out of a devastating situation. I thought my heart dead and un-revived until Ms Bellus gave me the best ending.
KL Myers’ novella, PROTECT HER was everything I love in a romantic suspense that mirrored the spy-type TV programs I’m addicted to. She is another of my must-read authors and contributed a fast moving high action second chance read and, and, dammit, I can’t say more for giving anything away. If all I read were these first two stories, I’d still say I got my money’s worth!!!
A happy and surprising find for me was Author Hillary Storm’s contribution that had me hooked with her prologue STEAL ME that will lead into hers and Sapphire Knight’s upcoming book THE ORDER OF OBSESSION. I hadn’t read anything from Ms Storm in a while, so I cut straight to it, but believe me when I say I’ve searched for this book to pre-order and am sad I couldn’t find it!
It was only after that I noticed that Author Sapphire Knight herself also had an entry soooooooo, off I virtually thumbed and went straight to WATCH ME: WELCOME TO THE BROTHERHOOD. It was the partner to Hillary Storm’s STEAL ME, and considering it gave more of an introduction, it was probably meant to be read first. But, I was too amped to care as I read the another version of the introduction to THE ORDER OF OBSESSION from another character’s POV. I’m staying deliberately vague because hello, spoiler!! Needless to say, I’ve signed up for both author newsletters because holy crap on a cracker, I’m not mission out on my need to be reading this book like yesterday!
As with all anthologies, there were reads that are not in my wheelhouse and others that while I did read them, were well written and hot AF, but made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. Or, was it that I felt uncomfortable because they were questionable yet I thought they were hot AF??? Something to think about 🤔
One that fell into that category was STOLEN TUTOR by new-to-me-author Carina Blake. Well written - yep, uncomfortable reading – definitely yep, and I’ll admit, it was pretty hot toe-curling stuff, which in my mind showed the talent of the author because I didn’t push it aside in absolute pearl-clutching horror, but read to the end then decided I probably won’t pursue further books. Readers, if you enjoy the darker side of choice, I think this might probably be one for you.
I’ve put the entire last part of the preface here for you, which in my mind says it all. Read and respect what it says, then enter at your own enjoyable risk ... 😈

I always love anthologies.
I get to read stories from new to me authors and indulge in stories from authors I am familiar with.
Depraved Desire by Dani Rene.
This is a bit of taboo dark story.
Older man/younger woman and guardianship involved.
Ms. Rene gives duel points of view so I knew exactly how Keir and Andriane were feeling and thinking.
Both of the characters have issues and both are recluses.
They have gone through bad experiences especially Keir.
He is so multilayered and Ms. Rene gives the reader glimpses into his complex personality which left me wanting more of him.
And holy smokes that stunning revelation left me speechless. I definitely did not see that coming!
Adriane has been sheltered in her eighteen years if life. But she absolutely knows what she wants.
She innocent when it comes not life but certainly not naive.
There is a strong pull and magnetic attraction between them that is strong and can’t be denied.
No matter how much they try.
I liked their story and I’m intrigued with their past.
And really hope Ms. Rene will one day give them a full length story because they are absolutely fascinating characters.

I received an ARC from Elena M Reyes her story in this anthology is called Savage Kiss.
I for one was in for a surprise because I honestly don’t like to read anthology’s because they’re always a sneak peek or a short story to the upcoming books of authors. But anyways I received the arc and it was good. I was surprised that Silas was Asher’s cousin idk if she mentioned it before and if she did I didn’t pay attention to it. Anywhos at first I was a little confused as to what was going on since it started off when willow had left Silas but since we did t get a prologue or a back story until further in the book so you can see how I was confused. But once I knew what was going on I was into it it was amazing all her story’s are honestly as for the characters they don’t change much you got Silas as a strong alpha male and you got willow sweet speaks her mind and all around in love with Silas. Let’s see what else Elena comes out with

Cherry lost her mother at a young age. Her stepfather hired someone to take care of her. Now she’s 18 and her stepfather and step brothers are all of sudden interested in being a family.
But there is more to the reason that they neglected her. Can she forgive them? Can they become the family that she’s always wanted?
This was a quick read because it’s a novella. Everything happens pretty quickly which is to be expected. I would’ve liked a little more resistance from Cherry but I also understand her reasons for accepting them.
It turned out pretty great and I loved the ending!! I love a step family romance!! And the nursing kink was fucking hot 🥵

Okay so I didn't expect to like certain aspects and taboos as much as I did. This is a fast burn taboo step brothers & step dad romance... It is well done, kept me engaged and needing to know more about Cherry's mysterious start in life. That epilogue tho.... so good & had no idea i would like that.
This is the perfect novella to read in between a darker book or to help get you out of a reading slump. I swear it revived me.

She is one of my very favourite authors, every single one of her books are just amazing and Emily and Issac's story is no different.
Emily's story is tragic and absolutely heartbreaking, Issac is her hero and her strength. Together they will overcome everything. It's beautiful.
I will get to the other stories in this Anthology soon so more reviews to come but looking at the list of authors I just know they will b absolutely brilliant

Oh my! 😮💨 I loved this anthology! These authors came together with a great set of stories! I love dark and delicious, and morally grey men! I’m also a sucker for obsessive and very possessive alpha men!

This is super sweet story! Emily and Isaac fall for each other instantly! I loved the instalove and the ending made me so happy! I want more of Isaac’s backstory but I loved how they “healed” each other!

Oh my! 😮💨 I loved this anthology! These authors came together with a great set of stories! I love dark and delicious, and morally grey men! I’m also a sucker for obsessive and very possessive alpha men!

This is super sweet story! Emily and Isaac fall for each other instantly! I loved the instalove and the ending made me so happy! I want more of Isaac’s backstory but I loved how they “healed” each other!
