This was an exciting read full of magic, mystery, suspense, and romance. J. Noble’s writing is wonderfully detailed and direct, keeping you invested in the lore between True Born and Shifters, the growing romance, and the high stakes. It reminded me of the original Charmed series but with animal shifters, so if you’re into well-written female leads, a lot of ass kicking, and spicy sex scenes then I recommend Beastly 100%.
This wasn’t entirely for me. I’m not one to usually read paranormal romance with a heavy emphasis on sexual scenes so going in I already knew it wasn’t going to be something I’d rave about. I do think it could use more expanding, there’s potential for a bigger book in this but overall it’s just not my personal preference in reading. I def think there is a huge market for books like this it’s just I’m too ace for it haha
The storyline is fabulous. I had a lot of questions that went unanswered, but not bad enough to leave sleep over. It has amazing potential and I look forward to book two.
