Persephone Enlightened: A Tale of Darker Seattle - Volume 1 of 4

Rate this book
Within a fever dream of a darker Seattle… Vampires, Werewolves and Faeries reign supreme.

But what if that nightmare is real?

The d'Armor sisters are experiencing this exact revelation.

Jo and Angela have always been the most competent people in the room. But these days, as they pit themselves against the dark and festering underbelly of Seattle, the competition is more than human.

Jo is a decorated US Navy veteran and world-class martial artist, while Angela, a fortune teller and kitchen witch, leads an eclectic coven from her ancestral home. And their youngest sister, Sasha? She’s been missing for over a decade.

Now, the elder siblings have discovered their baby sister is being held on the newly arrived ghost ship, Persephone. Armed with that knowledge, they’ve mounted a rescue of Sasha from the clutches of monsters.

Will Jo throw away her previous life to become something monstrous herself?

Can Angela escape her final fate, a justified curse from a homicidal Fae Queen?

How far will the d’Armor sisters go to protect their family, home and hearth?

Awesome read

Totally engaging. Page turner. You get to be in the POV of about 8 well drawn characters, and the main character is EPIC. All this in a hidden Seattle so weirdly real that you feel it really could coexist right in our midst. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I'd call the genre urban fantasy/action

Disjointed, no flow, jump from one scene to another. Example Jo was just with Dominic and got her approval to join the crew. Turn the page and we get Jo beat up with useless, knee, arm and eye…no lead up nothing, no explanation…then we get pointless dialogue with Wydd that does not further story just filler. 50% in and still no idea of WTF is plot line or story is going…

Didn’t know what to expect, but this was such a surprise. I totally love this series! A very creative story, and a diversity of characters, and there’s a lot of emotions too! (Read the other books). I got so immersed in this series, didn’t want it to stop!
