With business in the cities nominally under their influence on a steady growth curve, it is time for our crew to return to their passion, exploration. With a purpose-built exploration fleet, and amid much excitement, several of the crew lead a motley conglomeration of indigenous adventurers and profiteers on a quest to discover what lies out beyond the borders of the known world. Seeing to open new markets, and access new resources, our refugees turned industrialists will find themselves encountering some of their greatest opportunities, as well as some of their greatest challenges yet, in the ever-growing quest to build a better world.
This is a great series. As I write this, I have finished all 8 books. It has science, adventure, action, great character development. So sort of spoiler alert. It combines science - religion - myths together to form a wonderful story line. You won’t regret reading the series. Bill P.
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
This series has taken a different direction than most other books I've read in this literary genre. I enjoy it, because it's breaking new ground, and has interesting directions for it to go. Definitely among the best of book series' in this genre.
