The first assassin showed up during dinner. Now, sixteen-year-old Zoe Dixon is on the run. Someone’s put a price on her head, and she’s not sure why.
It’s been six months since her life changed forever, and she’s still no closer to figuring out the truth about her family, or about the organization behind all of her training. The Hive is still out there, and Zoe wants answers. But all her questions take a backseat when “The Hunt” begins.
Unexpected help comes in the form of her estranged sister Mia, who Zoe doesn’t fully trust. Mia comes armed with information about The Hive, and a few family bombshells.
Now, Zoe just has to stay alive long enough to figure out who wants her dead.
Poppy grew up in Cleveland Ohio, where books played an enormous role in her upbringing. She started writing when she realized she had a few stories of her own to tell. When she's not typing away at her keyboard, you'll find her playing video games, or listening to K-Pop!
The second book in the Zoe Dixon series is a wild ride! It’s a heart pounding adrenaline rush that never stops. This book is action pack from just a few pages in. The twists and turns had me needing to stop and just breathe occasionally. Just when I thought I could relax something that I didn’t expect would happen. I loved this book even for than the first one!!!
What a fun second installment in the Zoe Dixon series! I enjoyed the fast pace and strong female characters. Definitely a recommendation for my students to read.
I'm so invested in this story and Zoe. Hunter is full of intrigue and action it's very hard to put down, just like the first book in the series. It is very much a young adult version of the tv show alias. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next.
