This author usually makes good use of telling a story from the different characters' point of view. But I didn't like it in this book. Often it was the same incident with the exact same dialogue from a different character. It was all over the place and a little hard to follow at times. In a nutshell the wife leaves her husband with their teenage daughter and travels cross-country to visit her brother.
