A western about a young woman traveling to marry a man she does not know and she discovers he is not someone she wants to raise her child She is pregnant and so she married the Sheriff and they had a battle for survival The characters are realistic and courageous The extended epilogue completes the story A enjoyable read

Western historical romance
I liked Victor. I liked Carolyn. The ending was okay. Way too much drama and violence for my tastes. Seems like lately most Western historical romances have so much evil and violence.

A good read which had me neglecting other things until it was finished. A little sorry about the not so good proofreading, but the story of Victor and Caroline's striving for normality in a tough and rough life kept me on my toes.
