Once upon a time, all Jeremy Bennett wanted from life was his own personal happily-ever-after, and in just seven days, he’s finally going to get it. He has the perfect man, the perfect career, the perfect life. Now all he needs is the perfect wedding. After all the planning he’s put into it, that really shouldn’t be a problem, right? Right. At least, until T-minus seven days before he says “I do” to the man he loves, when everything starts to fall apart… I Do is a 27,000 word gay romance novella set in the world of The Delicious Series and featuring Jeremy and Nick from Falling. It can definitely be read and enjoyed as a standalone, but will probably be a heck of a lot more fun if you go back and see how these two first met (thanks, drunken social media posting). Chronologically, this story takes place after the events of Wrecked, Book 5. It was previously available as a bonus book under one of the author’s many other pseudonyms.
If you read and enjoyed the other books in the series, I Do serves as a sort of catch-all epilogue. The focus is on Jeremy and Nick, who are getting married, but all the couples make an appearance.
Jeremy turns into a groomzilla, as all his wedding plans start falling apart, and Nick's only concern is making Jeremy happy.
This is such a lovey-dovey story; these guys are positively gaga for each other. Those of you who aren't fans of eating sugar by the spoonful might want to skip this one. Since the ooey-gooey romance was tempered with some steam and friendship, I didn't mind.
Another great add to the series. Jeremy and Nick are at it again and I loved this continuation for them! A quick read with a full impact! These two are one of my favorite couples and when struggles and problems pop up they stand together. Through everything they can only get stronger and nothing will stop them from saying 'I do'. Can't wait for the next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.
I don't know what it is about Jeremy and Nick, but I loved them in Falling, and just adored them in this one. This was such a sweet little novella in this series. This was pretty steamy, but still had a lot of the sweet, swoony moments that J and Nick are known for.
Jeremy who moved to be with Nick and his daughter in Seattle having fallen in love with Nick when he was on a healthy kick and having Nick as his trainer. In this story there are so many moments that drag you back into all of the Delicious Series and how Jeremy gets his perfect wedding.
