This was exactly what I was in the mood for. It delivered on everything it promised: a slightly dark tone, a comically inappropriate age gap, the forbidden professor/student dynamic, and two characters so deeply frustrating that I couldn't help but fall in love with them. For context, this is a Reylo fanfic. And no, you don't need to have watched Star Wars — I certainly didn't.

The main characters, Rey and Kylo are flawed, impulsive, and incredibly compelling. I appreciated how their power dynamic kept shifting. Neither one held a permanent upper hand; they were both capable of being gentle or cruel, depending on the moment. That light blue blanket they pass between them? Still not over it. Slow burn and forbidden done right. Lastly, I'm still thinking about Rose and Finn. Someone check on them, please.

Oh Jesus—the goops are back. I try not to look shocked and excited but I stutter like an idiot anyway, because it's crazy, because it's too soon and neither of us should feel that way. I do too. He's still such a mystery to me but I don't think anyone else understands me the way he does.
Kylo rolls his empty sugar packets into tight cylinders and packs them into his empty creamer cups. I cling to my boiling hot cup of coffee and blush and feel like an asshole for not saying it back fast enough. It's so weird to declare in a diner.
"Same," I say.
"Oh, the passion is palpable."

.☘︎ ݁˖ Okay but why, in omegaverse, is it always the same formula? FMC's the omega, MMC's the alpha - every. single. time. I audibly gasped when I realized in this one, HE is the omega. Like, YES??? Revolutionary behavior 😭👏 You know I have to start it!!

This was different and compelling. The omega/alpha role reversal was interesting. I liked that she didn’t make the omega hero too soft and pathetic but I also didn’t love how very vulnerable she made him either. In the end, my preference for a different power dynamic (even if the hero has ways of dominating despite being an omega) made
this hard for me to love. Also… it still doesn’t feel finished.

This is the first book of this author’s which is not non con …otherwise this author’s book is mostly non con …when author said this is not going to be a non con I got really disappointed 😭…god kill me already …

If u having knowledge about omegas ,alphas and betas then u can understand this otherwise u need to take help from the google ..This is also a new concept for me and m enjoying reading about this ..

Rey (alpha) is 18 years old and Ren (Omega) is 32 years old ..at least this girl is legal this time 😂and everything happens with both of their consent..u need to wait a lot for the sex scenes …and reading about Omegas and alphas having sex was something different ngl 😂…

His hungry gaze wanders to me. We stare at each other and I get the feeling that something very bad will happen if I move. His lower eyelid twitches. “What color are you wearing?” My cheeks burn. I shrug. Professor Ren drops the handful of underwear and comes up to me so fast that I take a hasty step back. He seizes my forearm.  “I want them,” he whispers. He yanks. “Take them off.”  “What are you—” I pry my arm free and bare my teeth. “Cut it out!” He whines like a dog and I slap his wrist when he tries grabbing me again. He turns away, sweating across his forehead and throat, running both hands through his thick black hair. Well. This is bad.  “I want it,” Professor Ren mumbles. “I want it. I want it. I want it.” He goes back to my dresser and hisses, making an about face. “Fuck!”

He breaks our kiss and breathes in my ear. “I want to be inside you, Miss Niima.” Jesus. I nod quickly in agreement, squirming underneath his weight in excitement. It reminds me that I’m pinned and an accidental growl comes out.

over all it was a good book and it has HEA …

Compared to all the other DV stories with just fooling around and nothing else, this author deserves 5 stars for all her works but because I've already read her other works, I can't give this perfect stars. She's proven herself to be far more talented than this. One of the best authors I've seen who just naturally knows how to write really well.

This is such a cute story!!
I loved both characters and how slowly the story built. The TENSION. Also love how its reverse omegaxalpha but he is still dom!!??? It was such a cool dynamic that i thoroughly enjoyed.

This author really knows how to write. It’s impressive how she manages to convey so many layers in just a few words.

To this day, the only Omegaverse works that have ever impressed me are hers. She has this uncanny ability to make a story revolving around obscenity feel like a twisted psychological drama.
