“Alpha’s Promise” is story 2 in Cassandra Faye’s Clarity series and it picks up mostly where Alpha’s Clarity ends—the next morning. Karissa gets some of her questions answered and we get to see more of the personalities and power dynamics of the 7 alphas and their backstories, which is tragic and scary, if you’re an omega. I loved how much Karissa worked to fight off THAT purr. With so many of them, it was a struggle and I enjoyed her frustration and fury over being handled. There’s a lot happening and since Karissa is so new to the ABO dynamic, expect to see a lot of resistance, some intense nesting, and a whole lotta slick.

Karissa is trying to come to terms with her new reality.
She’s confused and upset and hearing what some omegas have gone through has her more on edge.
But her Alphas are trying their best to calm her.
Each of them relaying to her their own painful stories.
I liked getting to know them through their own individual experiences.
It made them more likable and more endearing because it brought out their more softer side.
Knowing more about her Alphas has Karissa also seeing a different side to them.
While this book leans towards a more personal side it’s still hot as ever.
The lust and passion is strong as ever and off the charts hot!

In this second book of the series, Karissa is still trying to figure out who she is now and what being an Omega means. Jeden tries to explain some, but Karissa is still very angry, which I don't blame her about at all. I would be too in her situation.

She is getting closer to the guys, a bit at a time. We still know more about her than we do about the 7 alphas, but we are starting to learn more about them just by watching her interactions.

I can't wait for the next one.

The second installment of this series is just as hot, just as dirty, and just as captivating as Alpha's Clarity. With multiple males as her protectors, Karissa is in a bit of a bind as she struggles to come to term with being an Omega.
Not a read for sensitive readers, but if you like your books downright dirty, this one is definitely for you.

So easy to read, I really love the world building, how it help to understand how the awakening works and getting to know each characters more and more. The smutt is again soo hot !! Not a lot of actions its mostly about how everything works and the dynamic between each alpha. Im still really intrigued by all of that and can wait to start book 3 !

In the second book, Karissa is still struggling to understand what is happening to her. I must admit to not really being a fan of the darker stuff but Cassandra Faye is making me want more. I know this is a series of books to come yet and I don't know how she does it, but I'm totally invested in seeing what happens with Karissa and all of the guys!! Can't wait for the next book!!!!

I swear this story gets more enticing. I love all the alphas and their struggles to find their place with Karrisa. Never again. Their promise to treat their long-awaited omega as their most precious possession. Again I have to say what a lucky girl. I couldn't put the book down. It is so good.

After finding out she was an omega, Karissa must put her blind trust into the arms of seven alpha who sworn to protect and cherish her. Karissa has her reservations, but her entire biology speaks for her and the need to be tended to, to be cared for and owned by these men was becoming stronger and stronger the longer she stays with them and get to know them. Despite Karissa's softening resolve, the men still have to prove themselves to her, to understand her feelings and take them into consideration, if any of them want their relationship with their precious omega to work.

Still full of smut and picking up where the story left off in the first book, Alpha's Promise offers more background of the world in which the it was set in. Karissa had been confused and frustrated for answers when she suddenly awoken as an omega in Alpha's Clarity, and in this book, some of the mysteries has come to light. The alphas' relationship with her develops as they all each share something of theirs to her, an even their misunderstandings were a proof of growth. Karissa was new to everything alpha-beta-omega and while the guys knew that, they have to meet her halfway instead of letting their temper direct their actions.

Looking forward to reading the next book. The plot seems to be stretched out in favor of the character relationships and the smut, but I'm not mad. I just hope the rest of the books in the series would be available after I'm done with everything that's already been released because I want to read about Karissa and her alphas getting their happily ever after.

Karissa, I want to be YOU girl! I loved how no matter how angry she was, they still HANDLED her like she was something precious. I mean, why cant we have men like that in OUR world? Even their aggression was sexy. The possessiveness in this book was on another level. A who would have thought that a simple PURR would have me on edge the way it has in this book?! UGHHHH I just have a weakness when it comes to men that command their women but when you put not one but SEVEN of them in a book I just go MAD. I am only on the second book of this series and I can already tell you it is highly underrated and everyone and their momma's and grandmomma's need to read this. It is well beyond past time to spice up your life and Jeden, Mordek, Tinves, Zeke, Halyrion, Donvin (omg u will love and sob for him) and Parel will do the job! Although some of these Alphas have more screen time than the others, I know we will get to know each one with all of the books. They are so different in their ways but they have one thing in common and that is their thirst, obsession and need for Karissa. LOVED THIS SO MUCH!!! CANNOT WAIT TO DIVE INTO BOOK 3!

The struggle is real and hard to accept
Alpha’s Promise (Clarity Series Book 2) by Cassandra Faye is a compelling read, however, I feel you must read Book 1 to fully understand Karissa’s plight, struggle and circumstance. Karissa’s struggle is up and down like the world’s tallest, fastest roller coaster with all the feelings that kind of ride can evoke. It can also seem as though one is watching a seriously intense and competitive tennis match, with stubbornness, confusions and anger to downright fury fueling the match.
Alpha’s Promise reveals more details of how Karissa comes to be in her position, but it doesn’t really provide her comfort. Feeling more like a prisoner than the cherished Omega her Alphas all claim she is, her struggle and downright refusal to accept her fate creates havoc in the Pack.
Overall, Book 2 leaves us hanging and wondering how the Alpha pack leader will handle Karissa’s latest show of defiance. Chances are it’s likely to spontaneously combust like a massive fireworks show.

So my husband asks me "What're you reading?? You haven't said a word for hours..." and I felt the blush rise, and glanced over at him. "Um.. my new book? Its Omergaverse..." He knows enough to not ask more, at this point, but for newer couples or ones with less solid foundations, this series could cause problems with your relationship, because you -will- ignore your significant other to read this.

Book 2 picked up right from where Book 1 left off and yet I still. need. more. I need to know more about Karissa and her seven Alphas. I need to see what happens, how things continue to evolve, how, how how. I'm enthralled. The emotional rollercoaster all of them are on as Karissa continues to adjust is amazing to read, and the moments she comes together with the pack... so steamy! If you enjoy Omegaverse, you will love this.

The worst part? Having to wait for more!

Alpha's Clarity series continues. Clarity is an illegal drug on an unknown planet that brings on the awakening of the Omegaverse. Karissa takes the drug expecting nothing more than a high but finds herself sick and eventually doubled over in pain. Several huge males take her, rape her and take her back to their lodgings. As much as she hates them for taking her, she is inexplicably drawn to them and enjoying the rough sex. They in turn expect a subservient female, easily led and serving their needs. Boy are they mistaken. Karissa is a great character, feisty and outspoken, unwilling to be nothing more than a sex toy. Mordek, Jeden, and the rest of the pack are at a loss as to how to handle her. Good fantastical read!

Hood second book

I am leaving this review after reading the 3rd book and the next book I am not letting get in the way of the review for this one despite it lacking in all ways.

SO! Book 2 is just amazing - so many emotions, so much strength for the FMC, a good amount of steam and connection, and a good look into the pack dynamic - after reading this one I pre-purchased book 3 to make sure I didn’t miss out when it came out!
Again, this book reads like only a few chapters of a book -
My criticism is that the Author is releasing about 1/7 of this “series” at a time- but the entire series would literally make up one, max 2 proper length novels - recommend book 2 despite this

This is the continuation of the story about Karissa and her Alphas. We get a little bit more background on some of the guys and we to see the ABO dynamic in action. There is some serious heat, some moments of tenderness, and hints at the danger facing the Pack. Even as the bonds continue to develop, Karissa continues to struggle with what it means to be an Omega and it will be interesting to see how her guys try to convince her that her dynamic isn't a curse.

The story continues to be steamy and emotionally driven. It's a quick read, and ends in a cliffhanger, but there is progress being made and the story has a nice pace. I'm excited to see what happens next.

This is book 2 in the Clarity series. It starts right were bk1 ends. Karissa is still trying to deal with how her life turns out after taking the drug Clarity. With the help of the Alpha's she gets some put not all of her questions answered. All is going good until the guy Niken shows up all h**l breaks lose. Some truths come to light about the Alpha's way of life. Karissa just wants to call her BFF and family but they won't let her. She's still trying to wrap her mind around what's going on with her body. Karissa refuses to talk or be near them until she gets her way. I wonder what they are going to do. I can't wait until the next book.

I loved this book! I stayed up entirely to long reading it and I want to start the next one already! This book brings all the feels! I feel so sad and angry for Karissa. She is having such a hard time with this. Being told half truths and leaving things completely out of it is not helping her any either. These Alphas know more then they are telling her... claiming it's so they don't scare her further and yet at every turn they do something that scares her more then they did before. I feel for this poor Omega. My heart aches for her.. but I can't help but wonder what is going to come from this strong willed Omega. I am scared her defiance isn't going to end well for her or the pack.

I enjoyed reading this story. This is a new author for me which I look forward to reading more from in the future. This is a well written story that has a little bit of everything in it, from steamy characters to twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed watching the characters growth throughout the story. They are connectable and strong characters that pull you into the story. They made the story easy and entertaining to read This is a story you don't want to miss. I enjoyed reading the story and what the characters brought to the story. I highy recommend this book.

This book follows Karissa as she tries to acclimate to the changes to her body once she realized she was an Omega. She needs to accept her new role and succeeds for the most part. She is shown the good parts of being an Omega in the beginning and is lulled into a false sense of security. Problems arise as she learns the difficult and unwanted aspects of her new life. I can’t wait to find out if she will be to handle all of these changes without totally losing herself.

Alpha's Promise

Wow! The second book is great. Karissa has alot to absorb as this is her new life with her Alpha's. Jeden tries to answer her questions. Then they all tell her what can potentially happen to an Omega. Whereas Mordek already bit and she also so they bonded. She also did with Jeden. The others are patient. Karissa is still having trouble with this Omega thing. Some trouble arises but seems not to be bad. This book ends with tension. Can't wait for the next.

Cassandra Faye’s Clarity series Alpha’s Promise is number 2 in the aeries and it picks up almost where Alpha’s Clarity ends. I am enjoying the revelation of this omegaverse world and how the pack is working.

Karissa is finally getting some of her answers of what actually happened and why. We get a glimpse into the power dynamics of the pack of the 7 alphas and their stories. Her frustration over what has happened to her life. Karissa trying to make some sense of her new life and to what the ABO dynamic actually is and how it exists.

While I admire Karissa standing up for herself, it’s getting old real fast. It’s more like whining. I love the plot, though the writing could be more developed. It’s coming across as immature or the author just isn’t sure of herself. I love how the Alphas’ take care of her. Also, I’d really love to get to know the guys some more. We start to in this book; however, it was very short. I will finish up this series to see how it comes out.

After spending an Alpha/Omega night with her Alpha Pack, Karissa awakens o questions and confusion. Jeden has been assigned the task of trying to explain how she became an Omega and how very precious and amazing she is. She really wants to resume her old life and has great difficulty understanding how this could have happened to her. Try as he might, she just becomes more and more upset. Will Karissa be able to accept her life changes?

Her struggles continue in this second book in the series. I could feel her emotions rise as her level of understanding of what actually took place and why begins to crystallize. I felt the tension rise as well and I cannot wait to read the next book and the havoc her understanding will bring to the group. I was impressed by how easily the emotional turmoil came across. I was also impressed by how easily their attitude regarding their actions were displayed. Great storytelling.

This is the second book in the series and for best enjoyment, I do recommend reading them in order. Karissa is still not sure about what is happening to her, she wants to get away from her captors but she needs them too. Can she trust them? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, twists and turns as well as intense chemistry. The story is fast-paced with great world building and steamy scenes. I really liked it.

I have to say this second installment is much better. Karissa learns a bit about being an Omega to the seven Alpha’s who are protecting her and why and what they are protecting her from. There were some very intense scenes; some violence and some bedroom/shower scenes. I felt this segment of the story was very well written and definitely entertaining. Part 2 in the Clarity Series, Alpha's Promise continues Karissa's introduction to being an Omega. Everything about her life has changed. No more job, friends or family. There is only lust and sleep and a constant worry for her sanity. When she discovers that the one who gave her the drug Clarity is part of this pack she is now an unwilling member of, she gathers her wits and makes a demand. Mordek is not pleased.... I can't wait to see what happens!

I enjoyed this second instalment of the series much better than the first. We get more of an explanation of what is happening to Karissa, and she is not happy at all about the changes happening within her. More character development in this book which was great to see. The story is getting me hooked now and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. One thing I would say is that I feel the books are too short and would have enjoyed a longer book much better.
