Simple and cute.
Good enough in small doses since there’s no real substance/depth. Tho I did start to get a little annoyed at how Jared was portrayed, he’s extroverted and confident and “enjoys flirting” A LOT but gets annoyed and sometimes even rude when the objects of his flirtations decide to ask him out. 😒 if you can turn your brain off and enjoy the simplicity of it it’s fine 😊

This was adorable. I loved Jared's energy, he knew what he wanted so he went and grabbed it. Sutton was so cute and sweet, he liked Jared too, he was just so shy, loved it. I loved the dynamics, it was all just adorable

Awwwwww 🥰 This was exactly what I needed! Prior to this I just finished an amazing, complex, lovely, slow burn book that was fabulous... butttttttt I can only take that sort of fabulousness in small chunks and needed something light and fluffy and wonderful next 🤣🤣🤣 This is a new-to-me author and that's EXACTLY what she delivered here! It was freaking adorable and I literally smiled the whole way through it 🥰🥰🥰

So cute!!!
I've been in a room and gloom mood and wanted something light, fluffy, and happy to distract myself and this was exactly what I needed!! Super cute, humor, and adorableness. I'm bringing the rest of the series right now, and then I'll see what else the author has that I can binge after those.

Loved this first book by Hope Bennett!
There are a lot of positive things to say about a fluffy Omegaverse story. There are times when you you need to read one. After an antsy MM book. I also read psychological suspense, police procedurals, and true crime books regularly so I need to balance out all that killing, cruelty, suspense, and sorrow with a sweet tale.
In this story opposites really did attract with help from family, friends, and a precocious little boy. Everything about these guys was opposites: super confident, sexy flirty Omega and a very shy, studious, body image conscious Alpha. One was black while the other was white. They did not follow the conventional norms of the Alpha pursuing the Omega, in this instance the Alpha was too shy and self conscious with low self esteem.
I really enjoyed how Hope Bennett created these characters. There was an authenticity to them. I really liked the little boy Davis and the Omega's best friend and co-worker. The little boy was super active and outgoing. Always talking a mile a minute and interjecting himself whenever possible. While the super confident Omega had a painfully shy friend who helped him to understand how the Alpha he'd been pursuing was feeling internally. That social anxiety was a real condition and his usual hammer to a nail approach wouldn't work.
At the end I downloaded the Bonus story. I look forward to reading many more books by Hope Bennett and definitely reading the rest of this series.

I really like how sweet the romance is. It’s not the borderline (or not borderline) abusive “romance” that is seen in way too many a/b/o books. There were some typos for sure, but not a brutal amount. I love that different kinds of people were unequivocally portrayed as beautiful - not that thin/fit cis white het people aren’t beautiful but it gets repetitive real quick. I adore that Sutton was shy and Jared was outgoing. It was an adorable dynamic. Jared moved fast on getting Sutton to date him and even internally began planning to propose to him one days. But Sutton liked that. They both were good for each other. I do wish they Jared had been the one to propose instead of Sutton. It makes more sense for their characters, I think. But it was nice the way it happened too.
This will sound weird, but I’m super glad neither of them was a virgin. Virgin stuff gets so fetishized (either because of purity porn or “deflowering” porn). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with never having had sex with someone else before, but it’s also not a trope I enjoy personally.
Overall it was cuter and a lot more fun than I expected! I’ll have to read the next one! Also, no pregnancy in this one in case you’re wondering. There is knotting and one sex scene. But it’s a short story, so that makes sense.

I found this story to be very interesting, the 'normal' roles were reversed. Jared, who's an Omega, is confident and loud; whereas Sutton, who's an alpha, is shy, quiet and timid. So I did like that they weren't 'typical' characters. They each had their own quirks. Davis was adorable! He's such a cute kid, and he definitely helped play matchmaker in this story. The reason I said 3.5 is cause the pace of this story was all over the place. It seemed like it was going to be a slow burn but then all of a sudden they are getting together and saying "I love you'd" to one another. So that was why I rated it that way.
Overall though, I thought this was a good read. Hope Bennett is a new-to-me author so I might have to look into more of their books.

Love it
I adored sweet, shy Sutton. He is a big teddy bear and his character is a lot like me in how he views himself. Jared on the other hand, has no problem with confidence. I so enjoyed his OTT antics and how he didn't care if Sutton was a bit more man than others. I liked that the "hottie" omega only had eyes for the larger man and was fierce in his protection and love for him. The bonus was great too. Fun and sweet book.

This little tale is full of sweetness, shyness, and a whole lot of sassiness. Shy Sutton, Alpha, and pert, cheeky Jared, omega, give us a cute and funny tale as an impatient and determined Omega strives to get what he wants. This gorgeous story is followed by a very short tale offered at the end of this one giving us a peek into their happy and very sexy future.

I saw all the good reviews and I was really in the mood for and alpha/omega story so I grabbed this and I was pleasantly surprised. I did see One review which mentioned them saying I love you quickly to each other but I honestly didn't feel that. I also loved the role reversal and it was a nice change to see a shy alpha.

Eles são muito fofos, cara. Sério, que livro gostosinho!!! Eu amei os personagens, eles tem uma dinâmica muito boa, não achei a timidez do Sutton muito forçada e o Jared soube conduzir a relação deles muito bem. New to me author. This is a contemporary mpreg story. The main characters are Jared, a kind feisty omega and Sutton, a shy alpha. Jared sets his sights on Sutton and slowly wins him over. A delightful story.

It's a good story as expected.
The story is as expected. Jared is an omega that knows what he wants and tries the best way to get it. Sutton is timid and is insecure of himself. Jared's game plan is to make Sutton see that just as good as any other alpha with his help.

I love book centered around relationship instead of plot, but here I wanted a little bit, a teeny tiny more plot. just a bit peppered here and there.
