I blog, I write books and I love the experience of writing. Therefore, I write almost every day and I am lucky that I can afford to do this without the need for a daily 9 to 5 job.

I write when I feel that I have something to say. Luckily, this happens quite often. I write when I want to help others. I'm lucky that many of the things I know and learn are useful to others. My blog posts alone are read by hundreds each day.

10 years ago I had no idea I would be writing blogs posts, let alone books. Yet, here I am today, trying to start a conversation with you, through what I write. I hope you'll enjoy my books and that you will come back for more.

I love it when people write back, so if you have anything that you would like to share with me, don't hesitate to get in touch.

I really liked this book. I appreciated Rusen's honesty. I learned about the "Diagnostic Data Viewer"
, which shows you the data that your windows computer is sending to microsoft every hour. I learned about event viewer, where you can look at system logs. I learned about windows subsystem for linux and windows sandbox which is a windows vm for windows 11 pro. Microsoft has definitly spent a lot of time on their windows operating system. The differences from windows XP/7 and windows 11 are large. Even with all of the data that is being collected, Windows 11 is compelling.

None of the linux desktop environments that I know of (xfce, kde, gnome) come close to being as impressive as Windows 11. I hope this will change

Like most '...for dummies' books quite a large element is extremely basic, but then the guide is intended to cater for all users from complete novice to the more experienced. However, with that caveat in mind I found some extremely useful tips and tools that I never would have known about merely by playing or fiddling with the various Windows 11 settings.
Overall, well worth while
