Katia: Munich, the edge of love

Rate this book
Blonde hair cut short like the fifties film star Grace Kelly. Light blue eyes, deep red lipstick which contrasted with her pale flawless skin. A slim body wrapped in a simple green and white summer dress.

She was easy to get along with, asked questions and made conversation. She smiled and laughed, but there was something in reserve. Something deeper and not apparent. Something very private. Jim never really wondered too much about this, it was just fun being with her. But he was going to discover her true secret.

....World changing events impact people throughout history. The history books are full of events but remember it is the people they impact at the time that make the story. This is a story about the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany in 1989. This is not an important story but an example of the millions of small stories that had an impact on millions of people as the events unfolded.

It is based on real events and real people in my life. As an Englishman living in Munich at the time, the Fall of the Berlin Wall had an impact on my life.

If you like a twist to a story, you will like this story. This is what happened in the summer of 1989 in Munich!

Enjoy the ride ... Tim
