Vegas. Is there anywhere more appropriate for a bachelor party? Even if the groom doesn’t really want to take part. No matter, I intended to enjoy the City of Sin the way it was meant to be enjoyed - for a good time, not a long time. The city which has one cardinal rule – what happens there, stays there. Except… My good time led me to her, and when the clock struck I wasn’t even nearly ready to let her go. There was only one problem; my luck had run out. It wasn’t money I lost in Vegas. It was her.
Lulu started writing by accident, and somehow found herself stuck in a fictional world of ice hockey, baseball and billionaires. A world she has no plans to leave. She's the creator of The New York Players Series, The Tuesday Club Series, and The New York Lions - the worst team in the M.L.B.
More recently she's ventured across the Atlantic to where her latest novel is set - the beautiful cities of Oxford and Cambridge, and the annual rowing showdown on the River Thames.
She's a big fan of strong heroines, because those fierce alphas need someone to keep them in check. You'll find her navigating her way through Romance Land one HEA at a time, and trying to figure out the latest social media platform she needs to post to.
do you love a hero that knows what he wants, and won't stop until he gets what he wants? if you do, this is the book for you!
they met in vegas and have a one night stand and plan to meet again the next day, but he doesn't show up :( but no worries, they get a second chance in the full-length novel dedicated to them
Let’s face it. We all know what a fan I am of Lulu Moore’s New York Players. I’m a bonafide whore for them, especially Cooper. But with this short story, Lulu Moore gives us a little insight into Drew, pre-Emerson ‘Lucky’ Reeves. And boy is he a fine specimen of a man. Mm-Hmm.
I really enjoyed this little insight into how Drew met Emerson. The beginning of their story is a hot, lust filled night in Vegas that ends way too soon, and in such a way, that if you’ve already read Drew’s book, makes you want to hug him tightly (and much much more - yes in a thirsty biatch, so sue me!)
The whole gang is included, and my fave part, even though it’s short and sweet is Murray’s cameo, the manwhore of all manwhores! I love him !!
If you haven’t read any of Moore’s books. Go now, read them .. start with the Players, then move on to the Tuesday Club lads, you won’t be disappointed in them. They’re all hot, man-babies that meet their match in the women that walk into their lives. And there’s fireworks galore!
I won’t say it’s bad, to be honest the whole scenario is too perfect…Perfect bodies, perfect characters, perfect ONS (for those who like it like a scene from a movie, obviously not for me) perfect friends, perfect life… it felt like the dream many women have and I hated it. 3 stars because the writing wasn’t bad.
As always I loved Lulu Moores writing. Being back in the New York Players world was brilliant. Seeing a little snippet of how Emmerson and Drew met made me swoon hard.
I tell you Drew is my guy, I bloody love him. If you haven't read this series you have too!
Wowzaaaaa - talk about setting up a story! I am so excited to dive into Drew and “Lucky’s” story! Like how do they reconnect?! a must read before starting Drew’s book!
Drew and Emerson meet cute, meet everything!!! A story you need! You can read it before or even after reading the full length Drew book! All equally satisfying, I love love love finally getting their back story! In fact, after I read Drew Vegas Edition, I went back to Drew and read it again! Sooo good! Thanks for giving us Drew and Luck Vegas Edition!!!!😍😍
This was an unexpected surprise treat! Didn’t realise we were going to get the full story of Drew and Emerson’s first meeting in Vegas 💙 Had to re-read their full story after this! Loved seeing Emerson’s relationship with her friends and Jupiter in a bit more detail and this glimpse into what Drew was like before he met his lucky charm.
Wow! It was so wonderful to read a prequel to Drew and Emerson's Vegas trips. I also see that our very own Mr. Huck Sands is going to be getting a book...😏😏😏
No secret that I love myself some Drew. He’s sensitive, caring, straight fire and a great friend. His relationship with the guys is what anyone wants in friend goals. How he is with Emerson is how every girl wants a guy to be. I love everything about this series. It was just hard for me to go backwards with drew being a slight man s|ut because of how we knew him in his book. Not to say it wasn’t amazing to see how everything started with these two
Regardless of that minor thing (in my opinion) 100% worth the read.
Lulu has a way of sucking you into these books and their worlds. I’d you haven’t read it. Start now.
Omg what an absolute meet cute story about Emerson and Drew!! Emerson is on a weekend trip in Vegas with her besties, to get over the betrayal of her boyfriend. Drew is in Vegas with a few of his teammates to celebrate a bachelor party. They meet in the hotel, and again later that night and spend it together as well. Pheeeew… just saying! But Drew oversleps, number written on his arm is not readable anymore, no real names were handed out. Was that it??
OMG this was such an awesome prologue. No wonder Drew was so worked up in his book - it set the scene perfectly, and pre Emerson Drew is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. We got the whole crowd back too, along with a little Jupiter Reeves - GAH CANNOT WAIT FOR HIS BOOK.
Yes! We finally get to know what happened in Vegas between Drew & Emerson. I seriously wanted to know what happened between these two and I loved every minute of it. These two are so explosive and now I need to go back and read their full book.
In Cooper’s book, all the guys go to Vegas for Jasper’s bachelor party. We are getting everything from Cooper’s point of view then and nothing happened while he was in Vegas other than drinking and sleeping in the hotel room with Jasper. However the rest of the guys go out and party.
Drew is walking through the hotel lobby when he sees a woman he wants to know more. Emerson is in Vegas getting over a break up and what better way to do that then hook up with someone else. The only problem is after their hook up Drew never got her name and loses his chance at more with her. Well until his full length book next… Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔥: one night
Story: 8/10 Spice: 1/5 Spicer Hierarchy: open door Narration: 3/5, dual
I binged this whole series in a week. I loved the way this series built upon each other. There are glimpses of upcoming series and each of those moments had me kicking my feet. Once these men fall, they are absolutely in love with their women. Drew’s story has been building and it was exactly the story Drew deserved. The audio includes the prologue. While you can get a feel for the Drew and Emerson’s backstory without reading the prologue, don’t miss out on their incredible night together.
5✨ Explosive chemistry 😍 Ainsley still obsessed with Jupiter💀 Emerson still irritates Jupiter 😂 Mallory still the best frnd 🫶🏼
They were talking about Jas & Wolf: I walked over to Murray who was standing by the door, as ready to leave as I was. “Man, your sister owns his balls.” He dropped his head with a shake. “Tell me about it. Not sure I ever want to be as whipped as that.” “Dude. No chance.” I scoffed.(Liars😄)
This is a little novella setting up Drew's full HEA following on from Jasper's bachelor party in Vegas before his wedding to Wolfie.
This is a short, fun story introducing Drew a little more and setting up the back story to his full HEA and it details some of the fun had on the bachelor party in Vegas. I really enjoyed this and moved straight on to Drew's full book.
LOL this was so funny, Drew is priceless, I was laughing so much 😂 I’m so excited for this story because I loved them in the third baseman!! and the spice was great, loved that one night stand for them 👏🏻👏🏻
The moment he went to sleep I knew he wouldn’t wake up omg my heart sank😐 man’s worked hard 👌🏻😂🥵
This prologue has really whet my appetite to read the story. Well written it caught my interest from the start and even though it’s so short I feel invested in the characters. This is the first I have read of this writer and cannot wait to read the main story
This Prologue was ok. I thought it had potential, even though a bit of dialogue was missing between Drew and Emerson. But I thought it would thought it was just a prologue, then followed the real book 🙁
Read this in one sitting. Who knew a short 60 page book could have a lot of spice! I just know I am gonna fall in love with Drew, he has my heart from the previous books in this series. I am really glad we got this little book before his book to know why Vegas was so important! 💕
Love a little extended prologue when we heard about this night during Cooper. Loved every second and we get to meet Jupiter for the first time which also excites me for Third Baseman now. I loved how Drew knew there was something special straight away and now can't wait to read there story!!
I understood the author only wrote this short story AFTER she wrote Drew's book. As I'm reading it in order (before Drew), I can only say that it left me courisous about how their story would pan out.
Oh I'm so glad we got this extended prologue and that I was able to read it before the actual book, as I believe it was published after the book. I'm usually not a big fan of insta-love, but I will say, it's well done in this series and I'm happy to go along for the ride.
