THANK YOU to all who have rated or left a review of any of my books here on Goodreads! I really appreciate it! I enjoy feedback from readers and welcome you to contact me.

I've been a writer all my life but it wasn't until 2020 that I became a published author. I am excited to now have three mystery novels published. In my first novel A Killing on Hardee Street Vonda Graham unknowingly hold clues to the disappearance of an employee of the Construction Company building new homes in her neighborhood. In my second novel A Brick to Remember a missing man's daughter grows up to become an advocate for missing persons. She falls asleep while journaling which causes her to sleep-type phrases about a brick, a toy, a name and her dad - all clues to what happened to him. While working with an FBI Task Force to solve local missing person cases in Myrtle Beach her new neighbor Vonda Graham helps her solve the mystery of her father's disappearance. My third novel The Forgotten Home centers around an abandoned home. A newborn baby goes missing and from there the story follows the child, the child's parents and the person behind it all. Vonda Graham and the ladies in her book club are close to those involved in this mystery. I hope you'll read and review my novels. Thank you for visiting my profile page. You may contact mvsgbooks2020@gmail.com. Happy Reading!!

In the second novel by VS Gardner the story line is top-notch. Once again we encounter Vonda and Marshall, the two weave in and out of an exciting plot. Centered around an FBI task force and missing persons, the events draw the reader in. Set in a fictional town near Myrtle Beach, SC our main character is working some cold cases that may or may not be related. Meanwhile an un-named character narrates some of the chapters and quickly becomes the center of intrigue for readers. A secondary story following our main character's early life adds interest and and insight. Recommended reading for those who love mystery, and a love story.

VS Gardner is a great storyteller. Her books grab you from the first line and don't let go. The second in a series of three, we follow her character, Leanza. Using her professional skills as an investigator to understand her own recent and disturbing dreams, she solves a long-buried crime.

A Brick to Remember by V.S. Gardner is the second in the series. I loved the premise of this story with a missing person's expert, Leanza, who chose that profession because her father went missing as a child. But what happens when she is on the biggest case of her life while living in the sleepy town of Logan, but her own dreams - dreams that seem to make no sense - start to intrude? And just how will Vonda fit into the picture?

Gardner does a great job allowing her books to flow together, yet stand alone, so if this books strikes a chord, feel free to start here!
